    teachmegrappling.com This video I talk about the importance of building a foundation of underhook control in the clinch and practice striking from there. Once my students have gotten a good feel for underhooks, then I teach them to use other controls. Our base is the underhook. Check out the details and you are sure to find something useful! Enjoy! Be sure to check out Randy Couture's MMA series on RUclips. It's a 5 part series and each is about an hour long. It is the best clinch fighting manual out there

    A good defense for if they have under hooks or the body lock is to bite their ear.. or just knaw on it a little till they let go.

    You shouldn’t listen to any negative things people have to say especially about the length or amount of videos you do!! The details you share are what makes your tutorials the best on RUclips... I appreciate them so thanks :)

    You always have great content. Don't worry about going too long; it's always worth it.
    I knew nothing about the clinch, but you gave me something simple to practice that might save me.

    Coach, the Nelson v Reyes stoppage happened employing this technique! Check it out! Used the elbow on separation in the clinch... hope we see more of this, seems the opportunity presents itself a lot & that it's underutilized.

    you are super awesome coach. At first, i thought Khabib is way too skillful in grappling, even though it's true, but after learning grappling a little bit, I realized khabib's opponents' grappling fundamentals are not strong compared to him. Keep up the good work coach

    • @nickmills8476
      @nickmills8476 4 года назад

      @nabil ghafar You speak the truth. khabib is probably the GOAT. But coach Brian dwells in the realm of principles where he is one of the greats.

    • @Ecaba3
      @Ecaba3 4 года назад +1

      True but to reach that level of grappling like Khabib is pretty uncommon. Not everyone has a dad that’s a mastermind at grappling like Khabib.. his dad doesn’t get enough credit.
