After using it to get behind the opponent, I show a great way to bring someone down in a street fight by buckling their knee. Check out the details and you are sure to find something useful! Enjoy! MegaSkilla I’ve been finding really heard to take shots for double legs, and whatever with my height and I’ve found more success with upper body throws from tie ups. I’m still developing my wrestling though as a jiujitsu guy. You said you were taller, what works well for you?

    Awesome!! I love stuff off the pummel because I am old and it's hard to change levels.

    Almost used this in a fight but just the other day, had to walk away though. The threat of grass stains was to real.

    Excellent again. I don't understand why there are not more views and thumbs up on your videos. You teach some of the most accessible techniques very well. Maybe because you teach "grappling", and not some sexy ubber ninja jitsu fu or something. Good principles, skills, and technique are good no matter what you call them. Your channel is a valuable YT treasure for me.

    Coach Bryant, the no-knee slide by street version is what we in Greco call the heavyweight variation :)

    Love the focus on street techniques. Have practiced a different takedown from same position off on arm drag where I tug my opponent back and down. Forget to tuck my elbow 1/2 the time and smash it. This is much better.

    I agree with not going with him to the ground if he has buddies but in most of my fights that ended in grappling I usually go down with them and do a submission which works if you don't want to cause very serious injuries

    This is awesome but can you show something where your knee doesn’t hit the concrete. I’m a cop and most of the guys get knee injuries from when their knees bang the concrete. Thx

    Coach here in INDIA in street fights 8 out of 10 times the opponent catches hold of your Shirt collar with left hand and will never let go of it and start swinging the right hand wildly.Can you tell us the best way to protect one self in such Situations?

    Coach, the moment you pummel it's still dangerous because you're tangled and what if he has friends

    • @TeachMeGrappling

      Grappling happens... sometimes you don’t even want it.

    • @MaxLohMusic
      @MaxLohMusic 4 года назад

      I do not think this criticism is logical. The pummelling was off of an over under; he was already tangled, and is now tangled in a less bad way than before.

    Ive been watching and collecting all of your arm drag and clinch and take down videos.
    about 40 of them and learned alote ..
    ( Dave bautista )
    Had a cage might fight a few years ago against a fat guy.
    i just looked at it , in its entirety and it looked sad..
    Im not an mma fighter and i could have done a better job.
    Whyle batista was up against the fence..
    I emeditely thought of things that you have been teaching.
    Can you please look it up and make a play by play of it.

    Not the WORST Greco technique... BUT, that slideby won't see much success against anyone with any real positional awareness & quickness.

    • @kallepikku4991
      @kallepikku4991 2 года назад +1

      I've used it a lot against opponents in both in no-sub and sub wrestling competitions. Got my own set-ups for it, but both work well. Sneaky ones as well; they won't see it coming.
