But aren't there a little foolish who have pointed out the super speed of Wonder Woman? That's Barry's power.
I watched it - the Whedon Cut still is better.
2017-low internet connection
2021- high speed internet connection
The Snyder cut is much better. You see more of her aggression due to hostages (she's scanning the room and saw children)
@@giosy0072 the entire speed thing is kinda weird throughout dc universe , (according to cw universe) the flash is supposed to be the fastest but Supergirl is equally fast which leaves superman and wonderwoman being just a tad slower. The difference is that Flash can go several gears faster when he taps into the speedforce which makes it possible for him to travel through time (and create flashpoint paradox) whereas superman requires the gravitational pull of the earth in order to reach the speed required to time travel (also he can only travel to a few minutes in the past as can be seen in the first 2 Reeve movies) but he doesn't create a paradox in doing so... weird right.
Now if we look at this scene Barry would have been fast enough to move all the people out of the building before the first bullet was even shot (during the time the guy pulls the trigger) , the flash in both cut's is severely downgraded from how we see the flash in the CW (but he gets stronger as the movies progress). This can be seen in a later scene (not sure if it was on whedon cut but it was in snydercut) when Barry saves a bunch of people from falling debris and he at some point is standing next to the people looking at himself and thinking about what to do while he's clearing the debris creating multiple copies of himself. Also his healing is quite slow in these movies compared to animated universe and cw.

@@PositiviteaTheFirst ya, but he too wasted his 2hr runtime with stupid jokes you know.
At first I had refused to watch the Snyder cut, because I could not believe it to be that much different. But when I finally did watch it, it was awesome. It is a completely different movie with a length of almost 4 hours. Many scenes taken out, other scenes put in, plus so much more. Really worth it.
Yes!
It’s not the Snyder cut that is changed or taken out anything it’s the original cut of the movie. The one released in theaters, the josstice league, removed and cut up about 75% of footage. Not one single frame from the josstice cut is shown in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. It is a definitely different movie.
i think the original start of the film work fine and you can save some minutes but using less established shots. the scene with diana work better in the snyder cut and the entry into the building. So if i was editor just from this clip i would reduce maybe two minutes the most
I love the Snyder cut, glad it got released
Unfortunately the Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad is not going to be released. 😢
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SMALL DETAIL RIGHT HERE 5:29 if you pay attention closely you can see that got shot in the back of her shoulder by the bullet. But the thing is the bullet didn't even penetrate her skin at all. And if you listen closely you can hear her grunting in pain which goes to show you the bullet impact still hurt her. Which pretty much implies and confirm that Wonder Woman's body in this universe is actually bullet-resistant, it just bullets can still make her feel pain. This pretty much showcase the main reason why Wonder Woman blocks bullets with her bracelets instead of withstanding. She just plays it smart and does not endure the pain
If you go frame by frame, the bullet hits the bracer, but the hot fragments are hitting her because she has to move through them.
Seriously, Joss didn't have time for that conversation between Wonder Woman and that girl but he had the time for flash falling on Wonder Woman for no reason.....?
lol
Well, to be fair he just following WB's executive scumbags order
Well, gotta keep the simps satisfied
After she just massacred a room full of people in front of children.
@@billbillson2276 What a great wonder woman 😂
In true comic form, Diana is both absolutely ruthless towards the enemies and caring/heartwarming towards the hostages/survivors. Zack Snyder's Justice League's R-rating definitely made this scene much better!
Oh yeahh
Everyone is to me when I saying I’m defending 2021 and 2021’s Wonder Woman in the comments but others go against it
No one wants to be my version of Diana definitely not
Yeah but did she have to blow out an entire section of what looks like a hundred year old museum?
She's clearly fast enough to have dispatched the guy like she did the others.
@@Shockguey It's a courthouse.
i like how in the Snyder cut, when the villain was walking with the bomb, everything around him was put in chaos. People getting shot and battered down, while he just walks calmly to his destination. You did not nearly get that same feel from the original due to how rushed everything felt
This is why I'm starting to appreciate 3 hour movies a lot more: There are always little details that seem pointless, but add so much to the world and characters, and the longer shots eases the audience in for each scene.
But Snyder's cut was 4 hours long
Snyder cut showed how professional and organized the criminal is and it showed how easy wonder woman could take them.
yeah Snydercut is definitely better
Yes, she could take them so easily she decided to blow up part of the building instead of just rushing forward and grabbing him
Both suck
@@ilqar887 one sucks more than the other one
Meaning one is better depending the context
Just the person who directed the justice league 2017 one is proven to be a weirdo
I remember watching both cuts and thinking that the Snydercut made this situation legitimately scary. It wasn't just a cool scene to introduce Wonder Woman and show off her powers, I was legit worried people would die. Little things like keeping that shot of Micheal McElhatton entering with the briefcase almost continuous, dude thinking about and making the decision pick up that assault rifle?! I was STRESSED.
Snydercut is much better overall
You get stressed for the most basic things lmao
The music helped. Much more dramatic and serious. And of course the stakes were higher. It wasn't played goofy
IMO. I felt that all the members of the league are to OP. Then Steepen Wolf is in top but Supes is to much he is a God Among Mortals with the leaguers.
@@skychieftain Not everyone is desensitized to hostage situations, whether that is real or fake.
OMG Snyder cut of WW deflecting bullets with her bracelets is totally badass AF! WHAT IDIOT cut that from the theatrical version? Showing her speed like that makes it feel so much more realistically plausible and just looks incredible!
She used her super move on one guy that caused debris to go outside. Potentially killing and injuring the cops waiting outside
I still can’t believe Joss edited out some of her coolest moments in this scene just to add her getting hit in the head. Such a weird decision.
Snyder having Diana ask the children if they are okay after was such a special moment to me. A lot of directors bypass potential conversations these heroes could be having with civilians - like they just storm in, save everyone, and go home
This scene is somehow…humanizing
It's the stereotype that Marvel characters have more human elements, and the DC heroes are more distant.
Spider-man is just some teenager, who makes witty remarks in the middle of a fight.
Batman is a rich recluse that often disappears as soon as he's done talking, even if the other person has more to say.
Even the Teen Titans cartoon never really had them interacting with non-super characters.
Though the Static Shock cartoon, that did a great job.
Hearing Wonder Woman say “it’s all good” does something to my heart 😍
I agree with you but, the theatrical cut has some duration target that they can't exceed because of the studio they're working for. So, to cut the 4 hours+ into 2 hours didn't give Whedon the freedom to add these little scenes.
@@namankumar7246 If only that studio allowed at the very least, something like
It's good when they at least care about civilians, cof cof Superman vs Zod
I can't believe how Joss Whedon saw that bit at the end where WW is taking to that girl so compassionately and thought, "yeah, we don't need this bit in here."
She's a great character because she's simultaneously so powerful and so genuinely caring at the same time.
Agreed
I mean she just exploded a man right in front of them probably traumatizing them then she tells a person they can be what ever they want to be . I mean I don't like joss but it feels weird watching it
@@leemavundla in fairness, he had completely planned on exploding that day before she even showed up.

I’m not even traumatised by Wonder Woman because I’m becoming her
The Holocaust gave me her powers and everyone stayed well away from me because I’ll turn into the Synder cut Wonder Woman if they went near me. Now my grief over our beloved Prince Philip has caused this and I don’t want to worsen it
i honestly got goosebumps from the snydercut. the threat just felt so much more real, and the duality Wonder Woman showcases is fascinating
What a laborious attempt to parallel both the cuts!!! Awesome, this is just awesome.
Thanks for your efforts and your patience for making this possible..
The person seriously did sn amazing job!
I like how in the Snyder cut, shots are left to breath. Longer shots of movement and the extra dialogue really helps sell the direness of the situation. It actually feels like its own film and not just to have wonder woman beat up a bunch of bad guys .
Having twice the runtime lets you do that. I doubt that the scene would have come out like this for the theatrical release, even if Snyder had remained with it.
You have to let a movie and audience breathe
well said
so watching parademons dragging cyborg's father through an entire building or seeing the terrorists walk up the stairs isn't bloat after all?
@@John_Smith. ive watche the whole ZSJL, it can be cut to 3 hours without losing much. take out the jared leto epilogue and other stuff
The turn of Wonder Woman's eye when the first man shoots at her is a moment to of her assessing the situation.
We as the audience saw it all first, but once Diana busts in, we see her first priorities are the gunners, then the bomb. AND, there was an actual fight. There was a while team of terrorists in the room, and Whedon IGNORED them all.
That's the thing with Zack's master editing and film-making!
Whedon got lucky with the first Avenger movie the sequel really shows how bad of a director he is.
@@elskeletor3566 I mean he isn’t bad. I’d be bad, you would probably be bad. He’s just not as good as Znyder and others.
@@showtimewithMZ1 Ye right, she tosses the bomb and waits like 5 minutes to go back inside, Diana went to a burguer king and forgot the hostages?
I think thats the bit where Snyder most obviusly got it right, it is very compelling.
I like the execution of most of the scene, but it makes fuck all sense. The terrorists have a dumb motive and their actions won't further their cause, but they are also super efficient skilled warriors. Instead of just punching the last terrorist, which would still have killed him she smashes the building and showers everyone outside in rubble which could have been deadly. The need to shove as many cool looking images in as possible took me out of it.
I think I agree with Mauler, especially on this scene: Snyder's Wonder Woman doesn't mesh well with the one from her solo movie. In her solo movie she seems very protective of human life, of all kinds, whereas in the Snyder cut, it seems she's willing to take life without hesitation.
It's the universe she is in
It corrupts and breeds violence for bloods sake
All of the heros here are tainted and the audience of f Snyderites loves it
The villains have it
The heroes have it
It is a poison that needed to remove the whole body to cleanse these beings
Tbf i think thats a way bigger problem in the Whedon version. In the Snyder version she definitely obliterated him but only after he went to reload the gun. In the og it cuts out the reload making it just seem like executing a surrendering man
I mean considering a dude tried to kill children for fun can you really blame Diana for killing him?
"Can I be like you some day?"
"Well, were you born a goddess?"
"No"
"Sorry"
The kid : “Can I be like you someday?”
Diana : No I’m a god... 😉
lol
I am a God you dull creature😂
Darkseid : 😡
Batman: But I can show you how to kill a god
I just killed that guy so no be better than me chama
Snyder really captured the true essence of wonder woman’s strength and speed 🤌🏽🔥
YEAH! Because he didn't have to set limit restriction which Joe Wheedon's cut had
He may not have had restrictions but honestly maybe he should've. It goes against Patty's sentiments about Wonder Woman. She and Gal were the one who didn't want her using a sword and shield because it was too extreme. Funnily enough, she even said this:
Jenkins recently appeared on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast in December, where she talked about developing Wonder Woman for ten years at Warner Bros and said the following (via IndieWire):
“Even when I first joined ‘Wonder Woman’ it was like, ‘Uhh, yeah, OK, but let’s do it this other way.’ But I was like, ‘Women don’t want to see that. Her being harsh and tough and cutting people’s heads off… I’m a ‘Wonder Woman’ fan, that’s not what we’re looking for.’ Still, I could feel that shaky nervousness [on their part] of my point of view.”
And Zack said on Vero that he didn't wanna use this piece of concept art showing a war weary Wonder Woman collecting the human heads of her enemies because he didng want to contradict Patty's beautiful vision. Do you wonder why there is a huge difference in how much fighting there is between WW 2017 and WW84, because Zack was a huge part of the creative process for her in 2017 and his influence is heavily noticeable.
Diana is a bit of hypocrite too as a side note. She doesnt wanna hurt the white house guards because they are mind controlled and yet in her first movie she believed the germans and everyone who is apart of the war is just being manipulated and controlled by Ares yet she still just smashes through people and is most certainly killing them.
By now confirming that Zack's original intent of this scene was her killing every single person and obliterating a man who was out of ammo that she easily could've ran up to with her obvious speed advantage and knocked out yet she chooses to do more damage than that bomb was probably gonna do all for one man. The Whedon Cut makes Wonder Woman look like an actua hero. Simply either pushing or just kicking down a few people and removing the blood entirely and making it look like she is holding back on them and cutting away when she does her little bracelet clash leaving it up to the audience to think that she just sent him into the wall.
Snyder definitely needs someone who can tell him no. I'm sure he has great ideas but restraint is important. The Star Wars Prequel Trilogy failed on a narrative level despite its amazing story that it meant to tell failed because Lucas only had "yes men" and he didn't have that with the Original Trilogy.
Snyder has a neat little vision but this is NOT Wonder Woman and it makes it as if she didn't learn a single thing from either of her movies and is just used like a blunt weapon. She doesn't stand for anything and just comes off like a psychopath and she faces no repercussions for her violence all because it just looks cool.

Exactly, she could've just use her superspeed and punch the guy, snyder always goes for maximum property damage lol
Synder has a great talent to create great scenes, it works almost like a drawing that it's moving so you can really soak everything from the image he's giving you, similar to what you can get from comic books.
Sadly that does not seem to be used in the current comic-book movie iterations, where everything has to be fast and full of quirky dialogue.
And it's strange, because the first MCU and DCEU movies were full of those moments, of letting us have our time in seeing the characters in their hero moments, of having moments of just letting a scene soak in. I think Endgame was the last movie that provided that (especially the Black Widow's death), everything since in MCU has been scenes of constant dialogue or action, even Black Panther 2 should have had a moment of those, to respect the death of Chadwick, didn't.
So glad the Snyder Cut was allowed to exist. Thank you for posting this. This film is a masterpiece.

The 'extra' parts from the Snyder cut really makes the scene more involved and exciting. The pace isn't chopped up and there is bigger build-up. Same conclusion, same story, but execution and flow does matter.
In the original Justice League, this is scene is quite forgettable and is almost like a filler, but in the Snyder cut, it's an important character development part to establish who Wonder Woman is and the scope of her powers.
Thanks for the side by side comparison.
Agreed, Snyders cut definitely improves on the scene and the build up and payoff is better for it, you get more time getting used to the story, each scene gives you a sense of direction and intent, really shows you that the bad guys had it planned to the fullest and they are capable.
What is disctracting thought, is Wonder woman herself in this scene. Batman should have had this fight, getting attention on him rather than the kids, because then it would be at least even match.
Sure we get quite a good scope her powers, but the sequence looses stakes once we see, that she is almost invicible in this scene and super fast.
if the enemy was a supernatural villain or a beast of some sorts, then we would see her powers tested, with stakes and drama.
But still this scene would fit perfectly into a action drama movie about a crime syndicate
This flick only proved that no matter how much you edit and throw money at it, one cannot make an enjoyable experience from DC's C class character pool.

... why is the snydercut shown at a resolution that looks like a TV movie? I know it was shown on theaters like that. Is there a reason?
@@rafaellima83 In theaters, the Justice League was shown as a normal widescreen, but Snyder filmed it in a 4:3 version as it is his true vision, and makes the heroes look larger than life. Also, in Corridor Crew's vfx breakdown of the film, Freddie also theorizes about how the 4:3 format makes it look more like a comic book panel.
@@bhaveshghanta369 oh that's really interesting, for real
I never got into those superhero movies (wasn't interested in comics when I was a kid..or after growing up), but the idea of shooting a movie in 4:3 to look more like a comic os really brilliant.
@@rafaellima83 and what are you doing here?
THIS is strong female representation. No condescending and petty behavior, no preachiness, just pure badass warrior hero.
wow thanks for making this.. im just getting around to watching the snyder cut today and i was wondering specifically about that scene and how different it actually was.. its really cool that you can also see he used a darker filter on the overall film as a whole. thanks again!
My favorite difference is at the end when she makes sure everyone’s alright
Yeah! It never clicks with me why Joss just cut so much out of the movie
@@_CPP_ you should go talk to the studios execs who gives the director a time limit for the film . Zack film is 4 hours long , would you sit in a cinema for four hours and if you would many wouldn't.
@@JohnSmith-zf4wp Yep, I would sit in a movie theatre for 4 hours. Plus: The Snyder Cut doesn't feel like four hours tbh. It has perfect pacing
@@_CPP_ that's OK but the problem is movie studios execs are the one who interfere with directors original cuts and timing because they think they know what's best for the fans when they don't know squat. So we see the difference when a director is allowed to include even a few more seconds of a scene that makes it make more sense.
@@JohnSmith-zf4wp You're saying that like people didn't sit down to watch EndGame which was 3+ hours long? And then most sat through the credits for post credit scenes.
absolutely loved how she jumped out of the bank first before throwing the bomb
Yeah that is a great moment
This isn't a bank. It's a courthouse.
Wow! Thanks. I loved the Snydercut and I can see why. The (literal) hue is different, there's more time to take in the situation, and there's more depth to each cut. he original cut is more like a TV show, while the Snydercut is really ... cinematic. Thanks for this.
They really had the balls to put “directed by Zack Snyder” in 2017 movie
after watching Snyder Cut i now realise why everyone were so mad. after finishing Snyder Cut i now seriously hate Joss Whedon's version. the details and emotions that's been resurrected on Snyder Cut is just awesome. he did justice to every character especially The Flash.

@@sggsdsgdgsd6897 I get it, Snyder's Cut is not everyone's cup of tea. In Marvel movies, there's good, and there's bad... And in the end, good wins. And unfortunately, WB are doing same with DC universe, they are cloning Marvel's formula to bag money...
But, that formula is costing Marvel now, with Eternals and Black Widow, getting bad reviews. What they need to understand that there audience has grown now. And as you mature, you want to see more mature content.
Snyder's cut has everything that we have been longing for so long. A dark gripping story where actions have consequences.
If, tomorrow, Zack Snyder would release a video, where he will be narrating his vision, idea, or just rough sketch for the plot of upcoming events, I would still pay to watch it..
All the little details in the Snyder cut just make it so much more nuanced. I especially liked how WW actually takes a bullet at 5:30 to protect the hostages, which I didn't even catch on my first viewing!
Exactly! And that is such details that make the real movie actually great!
There both the same at that time what are you talking about

So the Wonder Woman saved a bunch of people from a bomb, then she created an explosion to kill the person who planted the bomb, but surprisingly no one except the bad guy got hurt. That's some writing there! 😁
Before jumping down my throat, hear me out: I think the Whedon version did one thing better, which was the bomb removal. I didn't need to see the bomb float in midair for 10 god damn seconds to understand its danger; exploding after 3 seconds would have been fine.

How no body has mention the color schema, 2021 snyder has a darker and lower bright which makes it into a more serious situation, while on 2017 has more an "Avenger" color bright scheme which makes the atmosphere to look and feel way different.
I love it how at the beginning of the original justice league it mentioned being directed by Snyder but in the Snyder cut it didn’t
5:28 Well, if she's moving like bullet speed, you would not want to be pushed by her hand

Joss Whedon: I'm a believer
WB: I don't believe there is a 4 hour long cut of Zack Snyders Justice League
Zack Snyder: Believe it
LOL
Corona: I don’t believe it!
Me and 2021: believe it huh?
The original cut was not even 4 hours long, he just added more scenes after the release of the Snyder cut got announced as he realized WB will most likely not green light a sequel.
You do know it wasn't 4 hours long when Snyder left right? Lol
He didn’t add on hours of footage after the Snyder cut announcement.
He did a few pickups for Martian Manhunter and the Knightmare scene in his backyard. The rest was already shot but without complete cgi. There was an assembly cut that was 4+ hours already.
I literally just watched Justice League for the first time and made sure to watch the Zack Snyder cut. I'm glad I found out that there were two versions.
The Snyder cut was decent, and seeing Diana cut lose like this was cool, but logically it doesn't make a lot of sense. Like when she blocks the first shot, she waits for him to casually switch the gun to automatic even though she has super speed and could have easily taken him out. And as others have pointed out, it's so strange that she killed several people, including one she apparently exploded, right in front of the kids and she has no concerns about their mental well-being? Not to mention the debris crashing to the street that could have killed more people.
The one detail i like the most from the Snyder cut is that the camera usually don't focus on the criminals, in some scenes where Joss would focus on the leader, Snyder focus on the hostages or the police there to save them, the time the camera shifts to the criminals is to show their motives, like on the phone.
Well noted
Joss focused on the bad guys and not the message Diana gave saving those kids. Goes to show what type of boy he is
The cut is better but I still dont like how the scene ends... She literally blew up a huge portion of the building when she has made it perfectly clear already that she could have quickly rushed the guy and taken him out without any property damage or putting anyone else at risk. She could have easily hurt the kids or the officers below with that explosion
"Hm, should I just rush to him while he reloads? Lol ofc not! Skadoosh m**ker!"
Yeah this is the problem with Snyder, when he hits he hits hard, when he misses it also misses hard
But no one extra got hurt
She probably could have burst in the room, taken out all the terrorists without hurting them, then thrown the bomb out of harms way, but how boring would that have been. Jesus, I want to see Wonder Woman smash people about, then, blow someone apart who was about to kill a load of kids. What else was missing, a little Marvel-esq joke at the end?
@@showtimewithMZ1 All that debris outside and we're suppose to believe no one got hurt? Wonder Woman got lucky, at best, or the writers simply didn't want to show us all the people she would have hurt.
Awesome job
I like the action of the syndercut but I like the colors of the theatrical way more.
First, it’s not a bank. It’s a courthouse.
Whedon cut so much context out that it became known as “the bank scene”
Buy with the context put back in, you see the wigs of the magistrates and attorneys.
LOL, good observation
I like how Snyder shows the power! Like with the way Snyder cut was, you knew she was powerful! Fast! Strong! Awe striking!
Whedon’s was like soda when the ice has melted, no kick! Snyder’s version is like soda already cold! 👍 Amazing!
Nice comparison
Who else was focused on the Snyder Cut the whole time, but ignored the other side?
Yeah, me too.

The way she blocks all bullets.✨💓

3:35 thats good shit. justice done
Snydercut is a masterpiece
Warner Borthers? 😂😂😂
Wonder Woman saves the day by throwing the bomb high enough to explode harmlessly overhead then instead of moving fast enough to stop the last gunman (she clearly could, we've just seen her do so) she slams her Bracelets of Submission together and blows the wall out of the building raining debris in the emergency service responders outside?
Very heroic
You acting like she hurt them out there which she didn't and who cares what she did to them the Innocents are safe and the bombers who tried to killed and blow up 4 city blocks are disposed of part of a building is the least of anyone's worries when it could've been way worse
Thank you for the comparison.

Snyder’s cut was much more organised and darker than the justice league version, it really gave depth to the story/plot.
Don't know what the production was like for either of these films but honestly, I don't like either. One feels like it forced out scenes for some reason, while the other has way to many slow-mo sections and everytime WW appeared on screen, the music would be like, "AAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY".
