- When I recently bought and installed a new SSD in my computer I ran in to the issue of it not showing up in the explorer. There is a simple fix for this that you can do in just a few seconds that will most likely make the disk work as it should.

Excellent - I thank you. Win10 is a little bit different now, 30months later, so the sequence changes a tiny bit, but still easy to follows and 100% works. I also applaud you for not waffling - just getting into plain, simple, easy to follow steps.

What is your drive? NVME? Does your motherboard support nvme?
I do not even see my drive in the partition tool see it only in bios can you help?

I had the same problem. I just bought an ssd and installed it but this wouldn't work. If you don't see it, it means it's a hardware problem. I had to push my ssd further and then it recognized it. Hope I could help.

I installed W10 on my new M.2, but I already had an SSD installed. After installing W10, my old SSD was not showing up on "This PC". So I just followed this video and it worked!
Now both my SSD and M.2 are showing up in the system.
