What about a Venue 3/3s equivalent, minimalistic design, round, with 10 days of battery life? 😅 Or even a hybrid with real watch hands? Curious how Apple would interpret this.
My wife and I got series 9 watches over series 10 watches this week. We are jumping from watch4 to series 9. Why didn’t we get the 10… was 120$ difference… used the money saved for other Christmas gifts.
My Fenix 5 is over six years old, refuses to die and does what I need it to. As soon as I started thinking about an Apple Watch it started telling me I'm fit as someone less than half my age, so that type of flattery I just cannot leave :D
Apple Watch is practically indispensable to me. Sure there are alternative work arounds but much of the information I need is immediately accessible right there on my wrist. Meantime Apple Watch continues to work seamlessly with my phone iPad and computer. A glance or a touch is all that is required to instantly access weather, silent timers, heart rate, battery, messages, what’s app, banking payments, workouts or phone. It even pings my phone in the event it’s misplaced. Moreover Apple smartwatch batteries last for years. However Apple does need to step up their game when it comes to how long their battery lasts on a single charge. Particularly as other Smartwatches including Garmin, Souyie and Kospet have batteries that last between a week and 30 days on a single charge.
Yeah, this is a very good question. I also would like to buy an applewatch but afraid a little bit that this black can show us scratches, better than silver. That's why I also think about s9 black version - but honestly, the s10 is more comfortable.
Apple Watch user from 2015 to the Ultra 2. Now on a Garmin Fenix 8 Solar. Best move I ever made. Tracks my health, doesn’t pester me with closing rings and guilt tripping me. Sits there dark and silent until I need it. I do need to run/ride with my phone but that is very do-able. I’ve taken many calls from my wife on the Fenix. No difference to me
@ Rest days were only just added to Apple, which was too late. Most people don’t train every single day. I race mountain bikes and run off road races. Rest days are critical.
do you think that the watch that is constantly checking your vitals and has the lights or sensors next to skin constantly on is the reason for battery use? I am still puzzled with battery life as well. Then there is company such as fitbit, how do they keep their battery life longer?
My garmin checks my vitals every second, and lasts 18-22 days on my use including training 4-6 times a week. Yes, i can’t reply to messages on my iphone nor see photos, but i really don’t give a flying f… Only useful feature is LTE on smartwatches, but that cuts the batterylife even more. I had the AWU2 but sold it after a month and kept my Epix Pro 51mm Sapphire
Sticking with my series 8 for now. Battery life is tops on my list. I have to think about when to charge it constantly, kind of distracts from it supposedly simplifying your life. A blood sugar function has been rumored for a while- that would be nice…
I have the 7 and on my 2nd now it keeps letting in water, is the Apple Watch 10 more water proof I agree with round watches but not on a smart watch as you need the space
The HR monitor when running just doesn't work for me. It's worse than my Ultra was, which I traded in the hope of getting a decent HR reading. Back to the chest band then.
While I think that the Google Watches look better because they are round, the squarish shape of Apple Watches is better for the smart watch user interface part.
Love my new 10 series if only for the screen size but I’m always looking for new bands, currently sporting the same Nike band in your b-roll but the one you are wearing looks really nice, 😊🤤 orange tab… can I ask what brand and where did you get it ?
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I got my first Apple Watch just after the Series 8 and original Ultra came out. Went into my local Apple Store to check sizes and colours, and ended up getting a Nike Series 7 41 in Starlight. Don’t want bigger, thanks. Why does Apple keep doing this with their iPhones and Watches? Thanks, as always.
You answered your own question at @5:15 with @8:04. Apple is about user experience. If an improvement isn't going to have an impact on how you use a product, there is no incentive to include it. You develop the ritual of charging the watch whenever you're in the shower, and that's just fine for most people. I had a Garmin Fenix before I bought my Apple Watch. Even though I only had to charge that once every two weeks (or more often if I used GPS), I found that I forgot to charge it more often than the Apple Watch with its 18 hour battery life!
Well said. I'm unsure why so many complain about when to charge, how to charge and why charging happens frequently. Those are all just ridiculous complaints. If someone cannot remember to charge the Series 10 during a show then that is another problem entirely. Plus, since the watch charges so quickly a user can literally charge in the car if they are prepared or charge while taking a mini break.
I feel like I don’t think I will upgrade now UNLESS ultra 3 brings the same display where it don’t shrink the watch faces in AOD mode. Contour is a good example!
I love my 10 series watch. It’s comfortable as hell, but I’m not a fan of apple health. Google fit gives me a better health/ workout breakdown. If I could apple health could be configured to give me the same stats and breakdown I would be happier. Battery life has been fantastic just turn off always in display.
You have a watch in your iPhone with you constantly and it annoys you all day every day with it’s peeping and notifications and all. SO why not the apple ring? Small and it’s for your medical tracking instead of the IWatch
That was an interesting video. I am always amazed by tech enthusiasts loving Apple. Apple is all about stuff that just works not about being enthusiastic about tech. So it must be difficult for you Mark to follow Apple. I still have a series 6 because it works, when the time comes to replace it the 10 or whichever series will be available will be a nice upgrade. Very useful which is what I want from the watch and the screen it has to be square to be useful. A round face works with a traditional watch which I also own hut haven't worn in forever.
The truth is that it’s an amazing device with a really nice sleek look and great software HOWEVER…… still felt very similar to all the past watches (excluding the ultras) and most especially with its still SAME 18hr battery life (what a joke after a decade). Not worth the money, if you spend $329 and up on a Series 10, might as well just get the Ultra for a few hundreds more, double/triple the battery life, 3x more the durability, same power of chip (S9 & s10 apparently have the same specs) but hey everyone’s opinion is subjective. 🤗
I tell you the secret. Lasting one day is a warranty for Apple that you won't use it for too long as the battery degrades, you have to buy another very soon!
For me it was more of a luxury. One that I eventually was only using because it was there, rather than something essential. I don't really need it. Plus its ugly - why couldn't Apple go with a more traditional round shape. The samsung and Huawei are better looking IMO
Yeah, Apple doesn’t need to rush to impress us as there is plenty enough of us Apple sheep out there who will buy their shit every year anyway because why not. I get a new Apple watch once in 2 or 3 years and when I do I’m always blown away with how much my new Apple watch is better compared to my old Apple Watch
Completely disagree about square vs round. I think smartwatches should be square and the Apple Watch is the best looking of them. I would not be interested in a round smartwatch.
My two major problems with Apple Watches 1: very terrible battery life. Apple has always been stingy with giving better battery life to their products. 2: very terrible watch faces. always wanting you to pay to get nice-looking watch faces.
Exactly. like to track sleep & fitness, but that meant sleeping with it. So when was I supposed to charge it? I got under a days use on one charge. I would happily forgo things like ecg, fall and instead go for longer battery
I started wearing a mechanical watch again. All these smartwatches are nonsense. As if we're not handing over our life enough already to these tech giants. I don't care how many steps I did, and I pretty much know whether I had a good sleep or not. Pointless competition number hunting.
@@JedEckert Yeah, my watch is almost as important as my phone these days. I can make calls, send text messages, play music, and do a ton of other things whenever I leave my phone somewhere.
Thats it. I agree. The only reason i want the apple watch is because it looks fantastic with its different bands. Thats it. Just want that look and the ability to check time.
What do you want to see from the next Apple Watch?
What about a Venue 3/3s equivalent, minimalistic design, round, with 10 days of battery life? 😅

In the US a re-installed Oxygen sensor. We
have to wait until 2028.

i was surprised that the series 9 is the same ngl to series 10 i did the same thing 4 to 9 and its a big difference and i like it
I’ve been wearing a Garmin instinct fir 3 years now and absolutely love it I’ve never felt the need for the apple watch

Hi Mark. How does the black series 10 look like after 2 months….scratches etc….is the silver a better buy ??
Yeah, this is a very good question. I also would like to buy an applewatch but afraid a little bit that this black can show us scratches, better than silver.
That's why I also think about s9 black version - but honestly, the s10 is more comfortable.
@@repapeklesz i own aw10 black .. - screen scratches are visible after 2 months but they are not major ... aluminium parts look fine for now.
Just bought the Ultra 2 in black with milanese strap. Love it.
I would never use a ring. Full stop. Thank you for the video!

If you're someone who has a hard time closing your rings on the Apple Watch, you're definitely not the type of person who needs a Garmin😅

Apple replaces Apple Watch batteries though they last for years. Nobody has to buy a brand new watch.

Trouble is with round smartwatches is you can’t fit much content on the screen and less complications. That’s a dealbreaker for me.
Because a round Shape isnt funtional
That’s what happens when if you step out of the walled garden fora few weeks.
Let alone a few months close to a year.😂

charge your wearables when you take a shower. Get in the habit.

After recent update Apple Watch lasts shorter
The battery life is a travesty.
The Samsung ring needs a rubber skin worn during workouts.
Other watches last longer cos they don't send to Apple all your private information.
