Liking your channel. I am on the spitfires as well. 1180, 1100 and 960. Primarily wing foil and some sup surf foil. Would love to see your comments on experimenting with rear stabilizers and comments on performance. I go with a the huge 475P for stability winging and 375P for surfing. Thoughts on rear stabilizer and pumping power, lift? Fuse length thoughts? Keep posting those videos!
Happy to hear that! For rear stabilizers, I noticed that the 50 skinny was harder to get going than my 460 pump but once up and going to skinny was easier to pump overall and seemed to have less drag. There was less stability in the roll axis, but it was much easier to turn. For fuse length, I've only used the short red and ultrashort black and since they are about the same length I didn't notice a difference personally. Have you tried any of the skinny rears or png wings?
Got a 1300 that I use for really light winds and some small wave/bumps. Really like the spit fires and they work well for winging and surfing of course since that is what they were designed for. Being able to breach a tip without crashing is great. I have the biggest skinny stab and rarely use it and tend towards stability for winging with needing to switch feet. I have not really experimented with rear stabs for pumping but larger gives more lift overall and the SP are so maneuverable with the advanced fuses the stab difference does not seem to matter for what I do. I have plenty of maneuverability. Good luck with your channel!
Hey there I’m strongly considering an 1180 to up my pump and downwind game. I wing foil in hood river mostly in powered conditions but sometimes weaker moderate conditions. What is the 1180’s upper limit of wind?

Great work! I’m still trying for the 1min wakethief hat ;)
Thanks! It's still so much fun to duration test different setups and even those I am used to. Love this sport!
What rear wing are you using ?
@@tariqbarwani8687 Rear wing here is the skinny 50.
What do you think has more glide and more fun or is faster the 1180 or the PNG 1150 or the ART 1201?
Haven't tried the 1201, but for me the 1180 and 1150 have similar glide but the 1180 pumps more efficiently and carves better.
I’m guessing the Spitfire 1180 must be faster because it’s on a black fuselage and the 1150 is on the red fuselage, which is thicker.
@@roymassey1364 That plus the skinny rear stab. The ultimate test for me will be if I can jump start it though.
Cool let us know? What back wing are you using?
@roymassey1364 For sure! Rear wing is the 362/50.
Wait, there is no motors, it’s just you jumping sorta on that…??
Yessir! Some of my other videos feature the efoil. This is just a hydrofoil though, so you pump it to keep it going
1:20 on png1300. on leviathan 1350, 2 minutes should be very doable.
Nice! I've heard the PNG 1300 is a fun wing
@@FoilFanatic42 its fun, 1150 is probably fun-er
You need a 3 horsepower Honda...
You could get up to 9 mph....
Believe it or not this wing can pump around 12 mph for me! The efoil hits around 25mph but it gets a little sketchy on the bigger wings.
Can i ask how old you are?
Sure, I'm 25
