@@daveschreiber2749 it’s clickbait. The video icon (correct word is escaping me) literally says “Whats in the box?”, but there is no box. The watches weren’t even present with him. It’s a misleading title, so it’s indeed clickbait. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the video, but I would’ve liked it much more if it was actually a showcase of his collection and not just a (beautiful)Longines and 2 watches he never wears. Wanted to get more of his perspective on the Gerald Charles, for example.
I like the channel and everything but this was super clickbait. You didn’t show anything at all. I’v never watched a RUclipsr watch collection video where they didn’t actually show their collection. Almost felt like an ad.
Feel better man! I too adore my Longines Master Small Seconds in Salmon. It's a total sleeper pick and was a big hit at their Nashville event I hit last week.
I have seen a few insane deals on Piaget. I think I might buy one. I cannot believe how steeply they can be discounted on the grey market, especially gold.
I like that Christain is open about his pretentious taste in watches but also admits that a $2500 watch is not exactly cheap (something that people often seem to lose track of just because the watch collector world is bonkers and out of touch). Its such a funny contradiction, especially because there are folks who say they dont consider anything less than $4000 as a part of their collection. Also, it would be fun to listen to yall talk a bit about some affordable watchs/brands like Orient, Citizen, Sinn, etc. Something thats affordable but has a ton of value.
This is exactly my personal philosophy with my modest watch collection--it's about wearing something that puts a smile on my face, or as Marie Kondo would say, "sparks joy". My Seiko Alpinist and Fuyugeshiki get as much wrist time as my Swiss watches. But of all my watches, including those 10x the price, my Glycine Airman gets the most time on my wrist. It reminds me of my late father, an Airman who served in the Vietnam War.
Really? I was fully engaged. Did Christian mention ifl watches? I must have missed it. Perhaps it was just a micro mention. You know, in passing, only lasting 2 seconds?
The bit I have a problem with is when he talks about how limited they are and how quickly they sell out, but if that was the case then why would they be paying hundreds of dollars to Christian to plug them
I’m really interested in your thoughts on the Chopard LUC 1860 salmon dial. I’m on the list for this but the Longines is nice as well and is much cheaper.
The microphone really does not need to be the center of attention here, especially right in the middle of the screen, they do make overhead and clip on microphones.
I love the Salmon dial Longines, but I want it in rose gold. I saw a yellow gold, but the price was too much. Then again, Omega wants silly money for the gold Tresor, a watch that should not cost so much.
Christian has shown a photo of his collection before. Plus there's a bunch of stuff that he just wears but planning to sell at some point. Not sure if that would be included in the collection. Most importantly where is Theo?
Watches transcend classes and social structures. My Gshock is never worn because I wore it in Iraq and then a friend did for his tour. It’s no longer a watch it’s a bond, a shrine. If you genuinely care about someone else’s watch price and judge them on it, you need to go elsewhere.
@@thatguy6111 Totally, Patek and Lange transcend class and social structure. If a poor would just pull his boot straps up he'd have a sack of Gruebel Forseys in a month.

To be honest I do like their design language for the price point. I don’t own one, but I think for watch lovers with certain budgets or non watch lovers it’s a nice gift.
Kinda clickbait title. Would like to see a video where each of you actually shows your collection off.
clickbait would be if he didn't show any his collection...just because its some of the collection doesn't make it clickbait

Theo and Harris always has clickbait titles. Good content, but clickbait titles.
Yeah not sure why it’s so hard. Everyone wants to see. I guess it’s something to save as a special occasion video
@@3ncrypt3dcod3sWhat I want to know is who’s Theo and who’s Harris?!
I am glad the microphone was in focus for the entire video. We need a confession from someone or the audience will inevitably blame Sam.
Because it’s always Sam’s fault!
if it's not in focus then the audio will be blurry

Just Filed for My LLC today to enter the watch world, inspiration heavily coming from yourself. Thank you sir!

I’ve got three words for you… Sudafed 😂 Feel better, man.
Better words, Sudafed PE. Gotta get the good stuff behind the counter (not Rx).
Would love to see a throwback-style T&H vid on Cartier and Piaget!

Sinn has gotten pricy. I am not sure they are the value that they once were.
Loved this video Christian. Would love for you to do another collection video where you have all your pieces on a table and talk us through them!
What is there to love? He didn’t show us anything lol.
That LongLONGINES is indeed beautiful.
Wait you start the video with: “having them in the metal” but then not show a watch in person ?
Great video, Teddy!

I would love to see an in depth video of yours and Christian's collections, separately, if you haven't done them recently.
Love my Swatch and Timex collection…apart from the noise complaints from the neighbors! Feel better.
Jesus this IFL watches pump was quite obvious this time….

7:59 “the Gordon gecko watch”. *shows a Cartier from 2020. Who edited this? Sam?

Depends what your into. Standout 1860 features are the movement (killer), power reserve (decent) and finishing (good but not my priority).
That's hilarious! 2 of my favorite watches are my Omega Constellation and my Swatch Neon.

here we have 19 long mins of everything wrong with the watch world.
I agree
Catch up on some Vitamin C and feel better soon, bro
Cool video but what’s in the box?
Get well soon!

That casioak looks amazing, $200 im in
I love your G shock
Cool episode. Get better soon.
this is like, please don't mug me, I don't have any watches that are worth anything
Definitely push ing longines 😂
This guy seems like he has ADHD. I'm always surprised how some people can talk non-stop without taking a breather.
Gshock = SPEED
Get well soon
Really Nice... But who is Theo?
FANTASTIC video. Always a relief to listen to real watch talk and not “hypebeast” talk like so much of the watch world can be.
RUclips always unsubscribes me to your channel and a few others. You might want to investigate with them
17-YO. Kinda pervy.
That boy needs some Claritin. 🤧
Clickbait!!!

Click bait is an easy route to the ‘don’t recommend this channel’ button
I like my Timex, but it sounds like nails on a chalk board...
It's a plane painted on a watch, calm down.
I mean this in the kindest way but Theo, you're not really G Shock material. You don't get it.
I get what you mean, but it serves him a purpose.
Let's be honest, a lot of people in the hobby are not really G Shock material

He has a business. Business generates profit.
his profit margins cant be amounting to that much liquidity
I’m happier about my watch collection when I watch less of yall
Why do all the YT people love Longines? I NEVER meet anybody who's wearing one. Absolutely never. Zero! So what's the angle here?
They’re paid to push the brand. Same with Oris.
Because you never see people wear it it cannot be loved!

That's just Theo's nickname.
Actually he is Harris’s cousin

2024 and you don’t know swatches are noisy? …trying to hard.

Not buying he wears these watches on purpose.
