Almost any modern Rolex can say multiple things.
Cause I know a few people with different modern Rolexes.
Some are not interested in watches at all but likes the image they get from it.
And some are really into watches.
This also goes with Royal Oak, Aquanaut and Nautilus in my experience.

Hamilton Khaki = budding watch enthusiast. Spot on! It's not the first watch I've ever had technically, but it was my first purchase once I decided I wanted to start the journey of collecting. Great quality and price point to get hands on with a time piece for the first time and really start wearing something and understanding what you like and don't like. I'm in the very early stages of the journey but am enjoying it very much. Have added several pieces since.

I wouldn't call Teddy Baldassare or Kevin OLeary "boys". Those are grown men and mature adults. They very much DO care about what people think of their collections

Hello Christian I love your videos I have become a watch enthusiast recently since I bought a Rolex Datejust 41 in 2020 and another one last year. I love your video but I don’t think any Rolex model makes anyone look douchy Apple Watches yeah I don’t like them I don’t own one if I did I would probably just use it for the gym or for jogging JLC 100% agree with you I think you sold me buying a JLC maybe I will buy it from your shop in the future. Apple Watches are like iPhones: They deliberately say nothing about you. A bigger statement is made by NOT having one, and you get one to avoid being associated with that statement. Having a smartwatch that's not an Apple Watch says something similar to having a smartphone that's not an iPhone: I have some kind of weird, offputting hangup, and I am possibly a dunderhead.

Apples watch is a different class of product to other watches. It's a tool. Where as others are luxury accessories. It's like comparing a tie pin to a cufflink. Incomparable.
Also there's no denying apples iconic watch design. I'd buy mosers swiss alp in a heart beat if i could afford it.

I am guessing u own rolex before too , so do I . The tech behind it as you know is too dated. They are not even metas certified in 2023 , it’s a joke for someone who wants to wear it and to feel above average about it. I love my date date 40 8 years ago , hulk 7 years ago , panda Daytona 5 years ago, my Pepsi 3 years ago , but when I look at them or the current design, they are really dated and boring .
But of coz if u r an average person who has not gotten it , u will still want to own them since it’s been on ur mind for the longest time, your view may be different. I am just speaking from the owner perspective . And when u have them all, u really find that an Apple Watch pro is superior in every ways, except maybe when u wear a watch purpose purely for “aesthetic” . Then again, u wouldn’t need to buy so many watches then, the datejust 41 is properly the most beautiful , icon basic watch, again its average for average people so I don’t buy it back then

Have my Hamilton Khaki on right now. It was my first nice watch and really fits my lifestyle. I’m in the military and so it works perfectly while in uniform as well as for post work drinks in jeans. I’m also definitely in that budding watch enthusiast camp, much to my wife’s chagrin… 😅

Watches aren't stupid I love every watch I have even though I only wear my Rolex datejust. I have two Bulovas, a Seiko, two Invicta divers, one Cadisen automatic, and my grandfather's Mathy Tissot.

no you are not :) i have a few watches and on a rare occasion someone will recognise them or say something at all. my apple watch ultra on the other hand started many conversations.
I kind of understand the hate and not from a watch guy perspective more from a human being perspective. But to each their own
Got one, and it became an annoying tap getting me to look at my phone more often. As a lightweight music device I enjoyed it, but not enough to wear it daily. It's also universal, so doesn't say anything good or bad about you as a watch enthusiast. It's also designed to be replaced every few years. Annoying I have to do that with my phone, but then my watch too? That's when I decided to tap out. I also found the interface a little fiddly, and often the watch apps left me wanting more than they could deliver. It's ok, but hard to be excited by.

Impressive! I actually got the black dial gold sub because it flew under the radar more than. My first major watch was indeed a yellow gold Submariner with a black face. I wore it for about 9 months before upgrading to the full gold Yachtmaster 2. Nowadays, I opt for a rubber Oyster band on the Submariner for a sportier look, while I reserve the Yacht-Master 2 for special occasions. By the way, I'm a young, self-made individual with a bit of muscle, so your comment about that gave me a good laugh!

I own the Hamilton Khaki Field as well as a steel JLC Reverso. Thanks for reminding me of what great taste I have and how intelligent I am. Ha ha. I ran into the Tiffany Nautilus on the wrist at watch boutique encounter. The salesman and I were a bit star struck, however I still can’t relate to the hype.

I have almost every watch you mentioned except the gold Submariner and the 5711 I have the 2 tone blue submariner and I feel like a million dollars when I wear any of them from my Cellini Moon to my Seiko Padi Prospex.
