  • 2023 Ferrari 296 GTB review by The Straight Pipes. The 296 GTB is putting down 819 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque from a Twin Turbo V6 Hybrid. At $444,287 USD, would you take it over the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica, Acura NSX Type S, McLaren Artura, or the Chevy Corvette ERay?

The reason why it’s a 2.991 Liter engine instead of a 3.0 liter is because in many European countries, vehicle registration fees are taxed by displacement. If you cross the threshold for 3.0 liters, you are subjected to a much higher vehicle registration cost that you need to renew periodically. It’s why there are so many 2.0 L turbo cars, downsized and turbocharged for both emissions but also cost to the owners. All of these “2.0 liters” are actually like 1.995 liters for the same reason.

This is my favorite Ferrari. Only the 288 GTO comes close, and this 296 GTB is a bargain compared to that. Also, I my 6' 5" lanky frame might actually fit inside this from what I've heard. Great video Guys!...I was hoping you'd get to the 296GTB.

Dream car. Ferrari's designs are always perfect. Nobody makes better looking supercars imo and the 296 GTB is another proof of that 👍

Ferrari did a lot right here. I hope they sell many so they can devalue and I can finally afford buy one in 15 years. Also,
brake ducts under the DRLs; every 1997-2004 chevrolet corvette. Also a great access point to change out your burnt DRLs/turn signals.

I wish most vehicles would get rid of the center stack in exchange for doing everything in the gauge cluster. It's just a more convenient location and it encourages minimizing touch screen inputs.
