Pure Stage 2 Turbo for the N55 is rated for about 550hp. The highest I’ve seen WHP wise I think is 568 on the N55 platform.
Your friend and I have nearly identical setups and on my high boost pump 93 on e20 I’ll be close to 500 on my 535i on a semi conservative tune.
When I’m on an E50 tune maybe closer to 530 or so as I’m not on a super aggressive tune.
Low Boost I’m somewhere in the 4’s for sure and side by side my friends M4
Don’t believe with the I drive says in regards to HP, it’s not accurate by any means.
But his setup is an M3/M4 Killer.
My 535i plays with Hurrican’s on high boost with fuel cut issues so I can believe that.

@@6ixN54 Upgraded pistons don’t add HP, but allows to make bigger power safer, or lowering compression ratio for building more boost safely. As for upgraded rod bearings/bolts , it’s a good preventative measure when making higher power with the added strength but that doesn’t add power either.

There’s a new gen 2 N55 pure stage 2 turbo that recently came out (Pure 750) it’s good for around 500 whp 93oct / 700 whp e85

Hey bro how much torque are you making? I know with upgraded turbos it changes the whole car, but the thing I love about the N55 is that it’s “low hp” makes up for it because of the insane amount of tq it gets it’s really a drivers car.
Im FBO stage 2 w/the BM3 lpfp ethanol sensor and was thinking of doing the same thing, dorch hpfp + stage 2 pure turbo, I was also thinking of going with port injection to help fuel things properly

I mean it's got upgraded rods/bearings/pistons. All fueling stuff upgraded. FBO, full exhuast, & more Upgraded turbo on E?

@@2012summr read the creators response to me. Pure stg2 is more like 550 and even at that the motor and its stock internals are exhausted. 600 and I promise you with stock Bearings, and rods, etc… you will run into some very serious issues. Maybe you’re new to the n55 community because it seems like you have no experience in boosting cars. However I could always be wrong so pls direct me to a 600+ hp n55 with all stock internals.
@@Woo.f32 I'm not new to N55s at all, I plan on upgrading my turbo soon and im in the N55 FB groups, spoolstreet forums, franken turbo groups, ect. I'd love to go dig up some examples for you but I'm not sure why you find it hard to believe, 600+ on N55s is pretty much the limit and you're on borrowed time at about that point, same as the N54 on stock internals, theres a lot of misconception around the N54 being way more durable than the n55 which is just not true, you're pushing them to the limit around 700hpish similar to the N55s. But when i find some free time ill definitely point you to some pretty epic N55 builds on stock internals.

Yeah he's running a custom tune, I believe at the time of this video he had custom tune through bm3 with the guy who does custom tunes i forget his name

Bolt ons, turbo, fueling, rod bearings, tuning, etc.

@@geo745don Rod bearing kits going for like $600-$1200 on FCP Euro and u looking at over a band for labor, its not a cheap job i dont think
