Is it reliable? I see so many timing chain nightmare stories... Im planning to get a new car this summer and i started looking at these but after reading the forums maybe ill get the biturbo passat instead... Dont wanna fuck with chains.
@@waifuracer6516 It's an incredibly reliable engine. An excellent introduction into the Inline 6 world of BMW. I'm on my 2nd one in 3 years. First one got side swiped by an elderly person when they were doing an illegal u turn. No matter your choice make sure you get a warranty with these cars.
Is it worth using the paddles or is this gearbox mainly intended for auto mode usage with no factual performance improvement when using the paddles ? Thanks in advance to any 435 owner answering my question.
Paddle shifters have nothing to do with performance. They just allow you to change gears yourself. It's really just for your pleasure. The auto gearbox will always shift in the optimal moment.
@@INDIGOBLUE555 yes, all automatic cars a have "manual" mode where you can shift yourself, but they work really good in automatic mode, where the cars keeps the revs in the best power range. All autos shift gears up/down when the revs go high/low. Paddle shifters are more for fun, because downshifting can sound really good. It can also be useful on a track for traction and engine braking.
@@revisions_ap an M-sport is not a conversion. I've had both BMW M-sport and comfort. M-sport is bigger brakes and stiffer suspension (if you choose it before adaptive). But I have this car but on E20 catless and Big ic. Makes 400whp by faaaaar. This vid is slow acceleration by comparison. Just give your i6 what it deserves. #BMW
Florida USA 435i owner. The N55 doesn't get enough praise for it's balance of power and reliability. The engine growl begs you to accelerate more.
True words :)
True, i have the same

@@nix_kc1620 Thanks a lot...That means the device would automatically upshift to upper ratio whenever you push to rev limiter ?

@@nix_kc1620 Thanks !
But it’s definitely fun to use them because they react pretty fast 😉
just watching this video scares the crap outta me, let alone being inside the car at that speed
the top speed is more than 260 km/h, if you use a GPS seedometer you will get like 270-280km/h

I beat one of these with my accord😭
Prob was a 4 cyl
cap 🧢, no accord can compete with a 435i msport conversion 💀
@@revisions_ap yes they can stock there 320 hp accord v6 6 speed manual
Bruh it’s 270 hp stock to the crank and like 210 to the wheels relax 3.5l v6 accord garbage
