How reliable has your 435i been thus forward?

It’s 2023 and my 435i coupe has 170,000 miles. Literally still runs like new. Replaced a few items but nothing crazy. Love it.

If you don’t know how to work on cars or do things yourself, buy a used Toyota.

@@foreignlevi6869 Same principle applies to the Audi brah. The N55 and B58 are pretty damn reliable. Pretty hard to explain to someone not in the BMW world.
The only people who complain about them are old azz dudes who can’t work on them and goto the shop for EVERYTHING or kids who throw a crazy ass tune and drive it like an M4… then get mad when it blows up.

Same here. I too wanted a M4 but decided the 435i with the msport packages was more than enough. With some mods and a few appearance enhancements the 435i actually can become a very aggressive looking car. Granted it's not a M4 but it's a great alternative. With the Msport bumpers and side rockers unless one knows exactly what to look for they can be somewhat hard to tell apart from a distance. Great video!!!!

it really is a bargain for looks and performance, I to could have bought an M4 if I moved back in with my parents or lived in a some shotty apartment in the bronx but I enjoy my luxury highrise apartment, going to concerts, and high maintenance girlfriend lol. F32 is still a great looking car people still compliment me on my 2015, because of my factory blue msport brakes (not m performance) people always think (non ethusiasts obviously) its an M4
What year did you get?
It was between an 435i and an E90 M3 fir me. They were at the time (2021) about the same price. I chose the 435i for mostly the same reasons as yourself. Although the purchase prices would have been similar, the cost of gas, maintenance, and insurance would have been much higher for the M3. Additionally, the 435 is obviously a newer car with better tech and I personally think it looks better.
I would’ve done the same! Although the E92 is amazing and I’m sure will one day be a legend, the 435i has that modern and practical advantage.

So damn clean man. Trying to get my money up to buy one. And trying to learn what type of mechanical issues I should keep an eye out for. Most the 435i's in my price range have over 75,000-90,000 miles and don't want to get caught up in a major repair.
N55 engines sound so crisp. Currently own a F36 and it moves. Great video , keep em coming 🤘🏼

@@ayyyman_ A friend of mine runs an A90 with the B58 it's great motor for sure. I'm seeing more people with N55's hitting good horsepower numbers now , plus they sound far better than the S55. In my opinion you made the right choice.

For me it's the money lol. I have a 428I and love it, but mann that M4 is calling my name someday soon!
I bought a 435i xdrive Msport. I preferred it over the M4. Its simple for me really. I love BMWs, particularly their AWD system. The M4 is not AWD. I could have purchased an M4 to satisfy the fanboys, but that wasnt my goal. It would be easier and cheaper for me to get the 435i to 480-500hp (which is enough for me and the same power as the M4. In fact more) than to buy an M4 and attempt to convert it to AWD. It just wouldnt make any sense. The M4 is not for everyone. I love my 435i and would never even want an M4 though they are gorgeous cars. My first AWD car was a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, and Ive been AWD or nothing ever since. Never looked back.

its funny because ive noticed they are rare to see, I see a lot of f30 328's, 330's, 335's, and 340's along with the 4 series counterparts except its even more rare to see the 2 door version of the 435i....with that being said when I moved into my building in the parking garage there are 3 other 435i f32's! and 2 M4's one is a M4 CS. I was like damn I dont feel so special anymore lol atleast mine is the most modded in the garage

A real car enthusiast knows that, the 435i is a tuner car. The m4 is a complete vehicle from factory. A real car tuner prefers a 435i since it’s not a complete performance vehicle.
I strongly agree with you on the all wheel drive especially since you are in NY.
I want a new bodystyle M4. I compromised with the 428i and figured id save the money and use it as a daily until i get my chips up. Not a huge difference in hp for the price difference of the 435i and we all know BMW's price drops pretty rapidly. 🤷🏾♂️

Ayyyman, I am in Upstate New York. I purchased a 2015 435I F33 about 2 weeks ago.
Ahh would love to get a 440ix, but can’t find a manual one here in Canada and feel these cars are so much more fun stick, not saying the auto isn’t still amazing, guess I’ll be going with the 435ix n55 and bm3 tune right away, crazy how there is only 6 available with manual in all of Canada, feel they just gonna get harder to find, hope I don’t regret it

435i is great value, I got 14 f30 335i 70k mi, with m performance parts, 1 owner for $22k. Nothing I could find better for that price. It’s my dd and family car. I do my maintenance to save. I could have bought m3 but just not worth 2x for me.
Nice way to sum it up. 435i/335is are just great bang for the buck. They also make great daily drivers

@AyyyMan I 100% understand this. I had a F82 M4, and then the wife got pregnant, so we sold it and got a F36 gran coupe. Needed 4drs for the baby in the back, and the monthly cost (payment, insurance, gas, maintenance, etc.) literally saves me hundreds of dollars a month to now help with the new family related bills.
I'll own another M car one day, no question.

I've had 2 friends go from the 435i to the M4 and regret it. They love the M4 but both agree they wish they kept the 435i instead. Anyway, I love mine.
Yeah I personally wouldn’t even feel like it’s a big enough upgrade to go from an F32 to F82. Especially for the money
If you're not looking for a high performance car wanting to race it then the 435 is a great choice. I just sold my 2015 435 and replaced it with an M2, which is a better deal than the M4. I like a manual transmission, the 435 had it and this new M2 does too....its a personal choice just for driving enjoyment, not looking for precise efficiency you get from automatics these days. Not sure if you still have it, looks like this vid is a year old....but mine was a really great car, in the 9 years I owned it, nothing broke and still had its original brakes.
What were the payments and insurance like for the 435, I’m thinking abt getting one but also trying to find some more info on it
I was going to buy an m4 but My insurance Company didnt like that so i had to go Down go a 435i xdrive m sport, but i dont regret it, im Loving it so much, and gave it mhd Tune to 450hp🥳

Hey bro, unfortunately I don’t. The sensor itself is easy to remove tho. It’s just two toed screws holding it in. I removed it in my video where I installed the intake but I never cleaned it yet.

M4s are absolutely nuts expensive in this crazy mkt..just csmt justify buying a 2016 low mileage for well over 50k...its madness..looking at all the b58s F gen rather..with the 440s being the first choice.

Hey, where’d u get the key for the 330i, did that key come stock with the car?
It did not come with it. The car only came with one original key when I bought it, similar style to the 435i’s key except red. So I had a second one made by a local shop and just chose the new style for the new key
M-Car is definitely next for me too! M4 or M2.

Great question, the 440i was still too new at the time to get for a good price on the used market. My 435i came off of a lease, a lot of 440is were still on lease

depends if your e92 is an n54 or n55. the n55 will handle less peak boost than the n54. but IMO its a better motor all around. up to you though if you wanna upgrade

I’m terms of power and potential, it’s definitely a downgrade. But the N55 is definitely more reliable and the 435i has a more modern interior. Both cars are great tho and you can’t go wrong with either!

If it’s in your budget then yes. The B58 is very reliable and very fun to tune if you’re into that

Yup. With the exception of a few tweaks like the lights. I actually love the LCI lights on the 440i

Mashallah beautiful car. You can tune a 35i to smoke an M car like everyone else on RUclips. That being said. You'll always be looking at the real deal which is the M. All the M lite owners know this and the honest will admit it. M is M!
