@patrickpniewski7208 To remove the screws for the Dyson HD hairdryer, you will need the following bits Torx T4 - to remove the switch cover under the switch. Torx T6 - to remove the filters, handle assemble, and the internal handle top screws. Torx T8 - to remove the long screw holding the bottom of the internal handle. You will also need some small pry tools to remove the large round coloured trim piece near the buttons. Some gentle heat would be a good idea to soften the glue holding the buttons on. If you see ANY Phillips, cross head, or slotted screws then it isn't a genuine Dyson. Hope that helps you. Mick
nice 1 mick could have done with this being a engineer myself saves distruction, accidentally , lol. already made a mess of one trying to get into mainboard as was dead board fuse had gone, but managed to dammage blody element this shows best way to get into it,
@@leewright6101 well if you don’t know then you don’t and that’s the reason why I did a video of it. If you’re in the uk I can sell you a heating element if you want? Contact me Mickwild562@gmail.com
@@TimStuder-z4y it depends what the issue is really but I either go direct to Dyson, which is hit and miss for stock or I go to a OEM supplier in China or I have other outlets i can use. I have recently found d a supplier in Turkey which has a few parts but the postage is ridiculously expensive. Its just a lot of sifting through Google.
Mick, what kind of screwdriver bits are needed to dissemble?? You mentioned Dyson doesn't use phillips screws
