Think of a mini Yamato with Izumo main belt armour with a standard AB-X 3x3 410mm 45cal (nagato/amagi guns) turret placement. Then again having the number 13 class battlecruisers for T9 with 2x4 460mm 50caliber (considering we have Musashi for T9) - would also be good.
Agreed, I think that would honestly be a good bet. Having a cute mini Yamato would be fun. I for one would like Hiraga's proposal for a 30,000 ton BB with 3x3 14 inch guns, standard AB-X layout too. Shouldn't a weaker prototype of the Yamato be designed by Wargaming to be a tier IX ship? As the Shikashima is currently configured for tier X, I can't see any reason to purchase it with any resource.
but what about the secondaries? did they keep the pathetically nerfed secondaries? The original point of the 100mm guns in the A150 was they had better range and pen and were dual purpose (better AA), and supposedly had "many" (supposed to be more of them over all, faster reload etc.) so hypothetically this is the Ohio to the Montana, the Georgia to the Iowa. Except they didn't , they nerfed the guns. So if the big guns are already underperforming and the turrets are slow making brawling hard, why cut the range so people want to get closer to you with such poor secondary defenses? It needs that range to keep up with the other tripped to double conversions out there.

Preussen however is again bigger than H-42 but smaller than H-43 (Preussen being the same size as Kurfurst, which is 313m long and H-42 being 305m long and H-43 being 330m long), which again has smaller armament than H-42/H-43 (457mm instead of 480mm). Fire chance : 3 % (instead of 6%) This way you make a unique playstyle : The Japanese Secondaries. Her main secondaries compensate de pretty inconsistante main guns , but you have to get closer to use it. If you spec in secondaries , you become a machine gun able to shred cruisers , but also get vulnerable as the Yamato hull still has her weak "jaw" .
Historically large caliber battleships guns are not meant to deal damage against battleships, at least in the WW2 scope. They are meant to deal massive damage to ground targets mainly, with ships being a secondary target. In the game though, since they are meant to deal with ships, the buff that the shikishima needs to perform well is a lower fuse time. Give it a custom AP fuse time- something like 0.025 instead of 0.033, and even consider giving the Yamato that aswell. The AA is good enough probably, and in my opinion the ship can do just with being a different caliber Yamato- as long as the guns properly deliver. Seems that they don't, so thats what needs to be fixed. Slapping a better heal or other consumable on it just is an excuse to let the guns stay weak
The only reason I'd want to play shikishima is that I'll finally be able to overmatch russian ships whereas with my yamato, I'm still guaranteed to overpen the cruisers with yammy and I suspect that Kremlin and the new cruiser line are still gonna bounce shikishina shells super easy
You can buff the secondary Range to a base Range of 7 km or more. So if someone is crazy enough to brawl with her, then he can use These akizuki-guns. those guns are better then the 127mm secondaries on the Yamato. But i do not know what that ship could do better then Yamato except secondaries and AA.

Is it still a 170mm arming threshold?
I thought this was called Yashima? What happened?
Allegedly Yashima sounds too similar to Yoshino, so they changed the name
@@aditya.sagraha Oh, that's odd, guess it doesn't matter, the ship will be forgotten within a week either way
They almost certainly chose this name because Shikishima was an alternate name for Yamato Province.
@@RedXlV ah
@@aditya.sagraha coz Lion and Lyon don't? :D
Shouldn't a weaker prototype of the Yamato be designed by Wargaming to be a tier IX ship? As the Shikashima is currently configured for tier X, I can't see any reason to purchase it with any resource.
Im sorry but, what's the difference between yashima and shikishima? What I'm missing here?
but what about the secondaries? did they keep the pathetically nerfed secondaries? The original point of the 100mm guns in the A150 was they had better range and pen and were dual purpose (better AA), and supposedly had "many" (supposed to be more of them over all, faster reload etc.) so hypothetically this is the Ohio to the Montana, the Georgia to the Iowa.
Except they didn't , they nerfed the guns. So if the big guns are already underperforming and the turrets are slow making brawling hard, why cut the range so people want to get closer to you with such poor secondary defenses? It needs that range to keep up with the other tripped to double conversions out there.
Skill pts add up to 19?
im still holding out hope for my german super bbs, i hope they'll make a new hull, with 4x2 510s, and an immense secondary battery.
I think they will introduce new german super bbs, like the H-43 (8 480mm guns) or H-44 (8 508mm guns), since the germans don't have any tier 10 premium ships
@@chrisdinu4748 h44 is batshit crazy tbh but hey at least they added the h-43
@@Genesongx Well, according to Gröner, Hannover (355m long) is 10 meters longer than H-44 (which was 345m long) but has smaller guns (483mm guns instead of 508mm guns). So we have Hannover, that is a bigger H-44 armed with the primary armament of H-42/H-43. Preussen however is again bigger than H-42 but smaller than H-43 (Preussen being the same size as Kurfurst, which is 313m long and H-42 being 305m long and H-43 being 330m long), which again has smaller armament than H-42/H-43 (457mm instead of 480mm). The source of this info is from Wikipedia. I don't know for sure if WG has the accurate info, but from what I've heard, there was no plan of using 457mm guns on german battleships. I've heard something about 450mm, but I'm not sure. Probably, they changed the design of the ships so that they can balance them. Anyway, even if Hannover and Preussen are historicaly accurate or not, I'm happy that we finally have them in the game. Great addition, in my opinion.
Damn this ship sucks, better buff the petropavlosk to appeal to the Russian players whose pc's cant run the game properly
Yes blame the Russian players and their "bad PC's" for the shit that WG does.
@@forbandyson8921 WG is originally a Belurussian company that has gone international. WG is hated in Russia like EA is hated in NA. Russian WoWS player base is not the largest. Even Asia peaks higher than them, not to mention EU that is constant first. WG makes most of its money (in WoWS) from Western audience. Russian players have nothing to do with the shit that WG does, they criticize WG even harsher and WG does not listen to them either. First time i ever hear that WG changes something because Russian players ask? LMAO. WG does not listen to anyone like that.
Maybe get petropavlosk to be easier to kill by this ship, specifically say if this ship hit petropavlosk any way it detonates instantly as a counter.
@@CloneDAnon official stats showing that playerbase from Russia is double from Na x3 from eu and x5 from Asia. Just Google it.
@@Narkissos_1 No its not. Registered amount of players is not the same as ACTIVE players. There is a site that monitors WG (WoWS) daily player activity. EU beats everyone by far at both average player count and peak population. RU is 2nd in average player count, but China beats RU at peak hours in total players.
So the name are changed from _Yashima_ to _Shikishima?_
wat about the secondaries do they have 32 mm pen?
B. Senta i don’t think 2nd buff is going to be good since the Yamato is bad a brawling
its the same guns on haragumo so 30mm base so it can damage cruisers natively but you would need IFHE to pen 32
This thing needs a instant teleport to the enemy CV location *trollface*
How does the Kremlin have more dpm than the Yamato with less gun dmg and longer reload?
Hey Notser... you should do a secondary build for this...
Because why not?
The British had plans for the HMS Incomparable with the same number of 20 inch guns
Interesting video and I cannot see any reason why I would be willing to sacrifice steel for this ship
What happened to yashima
Hei notser, do you know when the neustra and flint back to armory in coal ? I thought the say gonna make them coal, but both of them gone in armory
WG said about 6 months
For me it was a (must have ship) that the Yamato performed better; it's correct. But what I think the most about the Shikishima is the gun sound!
How's the HE? You'd think with such a massive caliber that it would be a nightmare getting hit by it.
wait isnt there a Yashima with 510mm guns as well???
Same ship with a name change. Apparently we might get confused between this and Yoshino if it's still named Yashima.
I mean why not nine 20in guns! Why did the Japanese only design them with only six?
They call it something different on NA server than EU server?
Do you have any comments about the F.D Roosevelt and the aircraft layout that it gets?
Ethan Greagor top tier made a video on that
This "SUPER YAMATO" or what ever they call it is super lazy work
why are you using the turret rotation mod? if you have Yamamoto then you have the better expert marksman
Did Yashima transform into Shikishima???
Heyy, Notser is back with special video, featuring most special Minotaur gameplay! 👍🤣🇺🇲
Wasn't this called Yoshino previously?
"yashima"
Wasn’t it the Yashima?
why don't you use comms when in Divisions?
It's a replay, when he was playing the game, he used.
When you say UP GUNNED Yamato i started sweating
They actually nerfed the penetration as trade off for the increase in shell velocity from 720m/s to 765m/s. It went from a record breaking 1040mm pen to 930mm pen, even Izumo and Republique beat this with 970mm pen at point blank.
Wait wasnt this called Yashima?
WeeGee extreme hard mode: every overpen ribbon you get, take a shot of something hard
So it's a yashima?
is this the new Yashima or just a second one being added?
It's the Yashima. They thought that name was too similar to Yoshino so they've now given Yashima this weird new name.
If they wanted to add another Yamato class that much they could've added Shinano instead of this Yashima 2.0
What if instead of ap the shikashima used semi ap(my enlish is bad)
oh, the gun looks consistent
consistent OVERPEN it is
Wasn't this called Yashima?
Isnt this the Yashima?
In the me@ntime there are ridiculous ru ca that can citadelle anything from any range coming soon.
why don't use HE? because she have big caliber and light armor than who used 460mm
510 mm guns and the first shot hit is a bounce of mino
Fair review Notser. Perhaps WG could add Hydro to this war wagon in the spirit of your discussion which makes it different enough than Yamato? If they try to sell using Steel count me out, i do not see it worth it. Even the Thunderer has 8 guns, so perhaps WG should consider that. I see why the Japaneese did not go this route. Will save my funds for the new battle cruisers coming out.
why they change the name
Notser, what happened to Yashima?
This is Yashima, she was stupidly renamed to this awkward name.
@@vulcan3533 that's what I thought lol! the Halland and Smaland had different testing names to so hopefully this stays as Yashima to!
Did they change the name? Thought it was called Yashima.
Yes, they change the name, it was called Yashima. Changed because "Yashima" sounds similar to other IJN Tx ships.
Wait, wasn't this the Yashima?
isn't this the Yashima ?
What if they buffed the HE pen.... so you could cit with HE
Can't seem to join the discord server :(
How to switch to shell view after the shells have been fired

Thanks
I think Shikishima and Yashima are the same but different name...for some reason¿?
Is this Yashima just renamed?
8:01 "poor Yammy"

ouch being humiliated like that on a Notser video... he should commit sudoku to erase his shamefuru dispray.

how to makenew ship in WoWS
Is this the yashima?
How about the ship gets better secondaries than the Yamato ?
155 mm/60 3rd Year Type 2 х 3 pcs.
(pen 30 mm)
Firing Range :10 km.
(instead of 6 km)
Reload Time :12 sec.
Maximum HE Shell Damage : 2 600
Initial HE Shell Velocity : 1000 m./s.
Fire chance : 5% (instead of 10%)
100 mm/65 Type98 6 х 2 pcs.
+ 4 x 2 pcs (pen 25 mm)
Firing Range : 10 km. (instead of 6km)
Reload Time : 3 sec.
Maximum HE Shell Damage : 1 400 (instead of 1700)
Initial HE Shell Velocity : 1000 m./s.
Fire chance : 3 % (instead of 6%)
This way you make a unique playstyle : The Japanese Secondaries.
Looks like I'm gonna keep saving my steel for Bourgogne.
The only reason I'd want to play shikishima is that I'll finally be able to overmatch russian ships whereas with my yamato, I'm still guaranteed to overpen the cruisers with yammy and I suspect that Kremlin and the new cruiser line are still gonna bounce shikishina shells super easy
Now if it was Russian, it would have the pen and the short fuse to have continuous cits.
So this is renamed Yashima or a different ship?
random channel it’s renamed

the shikishima is pretty much an uptiered gneisenau with a yamato chassis and without torpedoes
