In this video, I'll be making a traditional holiday side dish. This is a Thanksgiving classic that will be right at home at any church potluck or family get together.

This is my grandmother’s recipe! She has been gone over 20 years. I still think of her every day. This video brings back soooo many memories! She was an awesome cook and corn pudding was a regular at her table. I have her recipe, but for some reason, rarely make it.. I will certainly put this on our Thanksgiving table this year..

I can't believe it's been 15 years since I lost my Grandma and 17 years for my Dad, her only Son/Child who survived. She also had wanted a Girl and I was her Baby Boy's first Child, a Girl. Needless to say, we were very close. I loved to watch her cook. My Dad loved her fried corn and I can still hear him asking her for some!! "Mama, can you fix me some fried "cawn," lol. That's how he really said it.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and to everyone!!
      May God Bless us all.

I really enjoyed watching you and thank you. God bless you. I wanted to just skip it this year, but my husband was intent on us keeping this tradition even though it is our first year without a loved one with us. Mother, his brother, and my father have all lived with us and we have been their caregivers. Bill is now my caregiver and has been for years, but he took care of my daddy and I both. He did a great job again this year. I thank God for sending me this godly man to be a husband to me through sickness and these hard financial times. I have times of hopelessness. I live because my husband doesn't want me to go Home and God has not let me come Home yet. I suffer greatly with chronic pain and declining mobility and overall health. Many days I beg God to let me come Home when I can't take it...but I'm still here. Thank you for the encouraging testimony!

I think this is probably even more than a 100 year old recipe. I live in Canada and I am 73; my Grandmother used to make it and said her Mother made it and my Grandmother was born in 1880. Then my Mom and I. It is great, course I love sweet anyway. Thanks, for sharing, now everyone can enjoy it. Happy Thanksgiving all.

Beautiful word at the end of this great recipe video. I've always said "We may be the only Bible someone ever reads" meaning people are always watching our lives as we live it. We must always be found doing Gods Will so others will see our light and yearn to follow that same path. But more importantly, don't shine so bright that you blind them and cause them to lose their way Hope your thanksgiving was wonderful

*I feel so blessed when I get to see/hear you on RUclips. Not just the wonderful recipes you share, but, hearing you speak from your heart. ♥️ Hearing you speak about our Lord & savior is so welcoming to my ears, & my heart (spirit). I feel as if you are the sister (by blood) I never had. My mom had me, then 7 years later, she had my brother. She passed away in 1987. Only 47 years old. She always wished she had had another girl....A sister for me. ♥️ I feel very connected to you. It's a spiritual thing. Absolutely. I'd like to thank you for using this platform to spread God's love, & His word to all who watch/listen. I continue to pray that a few people, per video, will find your words encouraging enough to listen to their heart, & 'fall into' Jesus' very welcoming arms. ♥️ That's the first step that we both know, will change their heart & life forever. I'm so very happy & blessed, that God made certain I would see one of your RUclips videos more than a year ago. I'm not sure of exactly when, but pretty sure it was more than a year ago. As a Christian, I never believe in coincidences. Nope. It's ALL in God's plan. ♥️ I pray that God will continue to bless your family. I am so happy to hear that your dad is saved. Such a beautiful gift!! Sorry to ramble on. I'm a talker!! Have a beautiful weekend.* ♥️✝️♥️✝️♥️✝️♥️✝️♥️✝️✝️♥️✝️♥️✝️

Our cousin Shell used to make this for large family dinners along with her award winning fried chicken. Nobody cooked chicken like Shell and I just adored her corn puddin'. Thank you for helping me save this recipe for my kids.

We used to call it baked corn. We also usually used dried corn to make the baked corn.

In the Uk. I have had corn pudding as a side with roast dinner since i was a kid. I now use an adapted version of your recipe. I use 2 small 165g cans of corn (drained) and 1 410g can of creamed corn. I also use full fat milk instead og cream. I also dont add the sugar. Cook for around 45mins or until the top is browned a bit. It comes out really nice

This looks so good! My mother used to make something similar, she just didn’t call it corn pudding. She even had a variation that she added a can of chili to it and baked in an iron skillet. Wonderful one dish supper! That was before we had crockpots. I forgot about it for years and just remembered it, not long before my husband passed. He wanted to know why I never made that before ( like about 30 years). He really liked it. He’s in Heaven, now, and I’m glad I know that. He waited a long time about making his decision. After he did, I told people that I had a new husband and I didn’t even have to remarry! Keep inspiring us through your cooking and faith. 😊✝️

I bought your fantastic cook book, love that the print is large, and the pictures are clear. I have been a Christian, since 1978, Romans 12:11, my whole heart rejoices daily knowing He watches over us. He feeds us His Spiritual Food and provides all our daily needs. God makes sure His Children have food on their tables. Thank your for placing scriptures and giving The Lord Jesus Christ's Lambs a happy face when making one of your recipes.
