    I have been gravitating towards chill energy vlogs. I haven’t enjoyed hair videos in years. So glad I found you

      Thank you soo much. I have been trying to work on showing that hair days can be realistic and not stressful. Chill energy vlogs I want to be my ultimate style. 😌

    Not part of straight hair season, but in October I will take my braids down to wash and blow dry it…aaannndd put it back in braids🤷🏽‍♀️. Your hair looks so light and fluffy. Hair crushing for sure.

      Thank you soo much. Braids are perfect for the fall season. Especially with all the wind. We get alot of wind here. I'll probably do braids again for the end of October as well. ♥️

    The shea moisture one just needs water so if you would’ve had a spray bottle i think it wouldn’t have been so clumpy/thick…… you have such thick hair im sure your hair loved it and water would’ve helped it absorb and apply better.

      Thank you for the tip. Usually the shea goes on without any issues. I'm guessing it was clumpy cause it had been sitting in the cupboard for too long. Lol. Next time I encounter a conditioner like that I'll be sure to add water and give it a stir to see if that helps with the consistency. 🤗 thanks for watching.

    Did you use just one of the conditioners on each of the 4 sections or all 4 on each section? If the former, can you tell us if you noticed a difference in the final effect between how each conditioner worked on getting your hair soft and frizz-free?

    • @shanikacorb
      @shanikacorb  Год назад +1

      Hello. Thanks for watching. I used only one conditioner on each section. I absolutely noticed a difference in the softness. Shea moisture and Marc Anthony gave the longest results for softness as the days went by. Hair didn't dry out as fast as the others. 😊

      @@shanikacorb All right that Marc Anthony one is definitely going in the shopping cart then! Thanks, sis.

      @@IndigooceanOrg I really enjoyed it. The smell is very fun and refreshing. It almost has a weird gel consistency. Goes on smooth. Not clumpy. Doesn't weigh the hair down. If you get it let me know how you like it.

    Great video and your hair turned out beautiful! I have alot of products I dont use. Great idea. Would you consider doing a video all about single strand knots? How they come about, what to do about them and how to prevent them from forming. 🤗❤

    • @shanikacorb
      @shanikacorb  Год назад +1

      Thank you. I'm determined to try to use up the hair products I have before doing another haul before winter. Sometimes it's tempting to keep a bunch of stuff cause it "looks nice" to have a stash of products. But as time passes, I want to use before they expire . I hate putting things in the garbage that could have been used up.
      Single strands knots, absolutely I can talk about them. 😊

    Hi Shanika, thank you for your video 😊. I made a mistake with trimming my hair. One side is longer than the other side. I don't want to cut it and was thinking about waiting until it grows longer then I can trim it evenly. I've been working hard to grow my hair that's why I don't want to trim it yet haha. What's your opinion about this? Thank you❤

    • @shanikacorb
      @shanikacorb  Год назад +2

      Heyyy. Thank you for watching.
      Trimming can be soo tricky. The majority of the time I never get my hair actually even when I trim. I would say, if possible, find a way to style it that hides the uneveness. If that doesn't work, trim again (when you are ready). Very slowly if your gonna do it your self. Clear mind and steady hands. I have raced back into trying to fix a cut and I just make it worse from being stressed out about trying to correct it. Or if you have someone you trust or live with that can help clean up the shape. I used to get my mom to take a second look at it from the back to make sure the shape was decent. How often do you normally trim?

    • @estheranim3949
      @estheranim3949 Год назад +1

      @@shanikacorb Thank you! I like to do heatless curls to hide the unevenness. The last time I trimmed it was 6 months ago. I made the mistake and then I got my aunt to trim it but it still looks uneven. Now I focus on dusting the split ends if I see any but one side is extremely long, so hopefully the other side will catch up 😅

    • @shanikacorb
      @shanikacorb  Год назад +1

      @@estheranim3949 it's super common. I always keep my fingers crossed as well that the sides will even out. Sometimes I think it does. Lol. This is why I try to just dust. I'm super accident prone. So dusting minimizing the mistakes for me.

      Omgggg yes it does. Basically why I wanted to do a video like this. I am always tempted to keep empties. I am a hoarder. Lol 😆 I have to force myself to toss them. I always say I can use it for some craft or nonsense then I end up with 30 jars.
