Light product to no product has been a game changer for me. I have a similar texture to her and I’ve been doing rollerset with just a water based leave in…i flat iron the roots and I’m good for 7-21 days depending on style…my hair is the healthiest it’s been in a long time. Less is defffffff more.
This is the hair routine of someone who doesn't sell you products and is all about minimalist natural haircare. 👌✨ And the result is just speaking for itself
I have my favorite products & I’ll definitely recommend them when people ask, but for me it’s really in the technique and routine - the products can help make it easier but I like to keep it minimal ❤️🤗
I agree with both messages. As a kid, my hair was very long and the volume was the same. I've since had 2 kids and I'm older and Mt hair volume is a little less. With lockdown, I returned to a minimalist routine and my hair gained about 75% of the volume! I miss the oils and hair masks so I did those plus food detoxes, and it was if I hadn't aged much in certain areas. When you live in a major city, you follow a thousand steps and spend money to try all these things only to go back to what you know...since this is your 2nd recession that you've experienced. I love how simple this is and how it works and how you may also relearn to accept your beauty for what it is and not feel the need to go on trend. Every time I go back to what I know is simple and works, there is someone who appreciates it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...right?
Oh she's definitely selling the products however she's doing what high value brands do...which is let the product speak for itself and then drop the name later...usually after the followers have begged. Love it!
I love how effortlessly your wash day process is! Very little manipulation and no product overload. Simplistic routine with an elegant outcome ✨ love it!
@@shannbailee Beautiful lady, I am very curious and keen to know how you sleep with this hair please. I'd really appreciate it if you shed some light on this.
I just want to say thank you for sharing your hair care routine. A few months ago, my hair started falling out (I’ve been natural for years so I couldn’t figure out what was the cause), I mean it was really bad. I did some research and figured that it may have been shedding, but it was scary! I came across your hair routine and I noticed that I have a similar hair type to yours, so I decided to give your routine a try with the best products I could afford. I am happy to say that within about three weeks my hair stopped falling out and my edges started to grow in (a weak area for me). It has been about three months and I have followed your routine every week, I don’t think my hair has ever been this healthy and it is starting to grow like crazy! So thank you, your video really helped me! ❤
I promise less is more and it doesn’t matter how expensive the product is all that matters is that it’s natural nor organic people over over oil over style I wash and twist my locks maybe every two months
This is how I do my hair as well. Sometimes I do smaller twists for a more defined look but it’s so easy. People act like natural hair is hard but it doesn’t have to be. All the hair gurus doing the MOST. Hahaha I also have long fluffy hair. This is how it’s done!
It’s been so hard loving my curly hair lately because I have a hard time learning how to manage it but watching you really inspires me to keep trying. Thank you🤍🤍
I think a lot of us curly girls go thru this stage. I used to hate mine but now I appreciate it. It took me years to get to this point which I feel had a lot to do with learning how to care for my hair. It does takes time. I wish I had learned years ago as this would have saved me a lot of time, energy, headaches, and frustration. (I used to wash my hair every day to ev other day which was unnecessary. Not to mention it was drying my hair out)
@@scorpianna420oh my God same😊I was washing my hair before school I'm so stupid wen in fact I couldv did it at the weekend did some twist outs and left it alone with some deep conditioner it would been more of a healthy hairstyle to do,anyways we all learn from our mistakes, shann is the best❤❤❤🤎
I always tell people less is more and you just let it do what it wants to do. I love it. I love big hair. It’s so beautiful and I love that. You don’t put a lot of product in it and technically you don’t over manipulated either with combing and brushing daily, which is damaging to the hair
You are so gracious 🥰. I've learned that the healthiest way to remove any oil from the scalp and hair without damaging or stripping it so much with shampoo and water is by first applying a mask to it (like those 3 minutes miracle treatment mask for exemple). The mask will break down the oil molecules off the hair without offering any resistance to it and all oil residues will be removed. (the opposite happens when you dont apply the mask first, as we all know that water and oil don't mix, which cause more resistance for the total removal of the oil. And the addition of shampoo might strip the hair natural hydration even more than what is necessary). Another tip is to apply a drop of Jojoba oil in your hands before opening the twists. Jojoba oil is one of the only oils that are not greasy and helps your fingers to slide through the hair strains without causing too much freeze. And it actually holds the hydration in the hair strains. these two simple steps make a huge diference on the end results.
so glad to see someone who doesn't use multiple products on their hair just to wash it, thanks for keeping it simple, BTW I would love to have that much hair, presently working on it!

I just begin my transition for about a year now, im planning on not doing the big chop but letting it transition with trims for time to time. I have been scared of wash days 😩 cause they look so stressful, where im from we usually just wash our hair at the salon but im trying to know how to do it myself, this routine is so helpful and easy unilike mosy it's for someone like me, cause i easily get ovehelmed 😅

Please do a 'Get to know me' video, about your background and what you did/do now, camera equipment you use. Im a uk fan and aspire to be a lifestyle personality on social media (influencer) and have a family
YOU'RE SO GORGEOUS IM CRYING
Hello :) Is it possible to get more details on how you create the sections in your hair when you make the twists please ?
Once a week is my wash day as well (when I'm not lazy lol). I also do a lot of twist outs.
I love when we find a routine that fits our lifestyle! 🥹🫶
Can you show your process for a retwist in between washes? I feel like if I would retwist while the hair is dry, it would be difficult, so I’m curious to know your actual process. Thanks!
i’ve been following you for so long, you’re such an inspiration and i hope i’ll be like you when i’m older 🤍
I appreciate you so much, thank you!
Yay I found you! And good timing! I needed a refresher course on what’s do😣
I just begin my transition for about a year now, im planning on not doing the big chop but letting it transition with trims for time to time. I have been scared of wash days 😩 cause they look so stressful, where im from we usually just wash our hair at the salon but im trying to know how to do it myself, this routine is so helpful and easy unilike mosy it's for someone like me, cause i easily get ovehelmed 😅
Try Washing your hair in sections to make it easier
You look like a Disney princess! So pretty!
Your hair is like mine. Big and fluffy. I never know what to do with it, but I might have to revisit my braid out.
Ommmggg!! Your hair is hella preety
I started years ago detangling under water. And its a game changer for me.

Lovely!🥰💗 keep taking care of your hair. How many time do you deep conditioner your hair. Also I highly recommend The Mane Choice deep conditioner you will love it. It's one of my fav. Does wonders for the hair.
I deep condition my hair every wash day 🫶🤗
