- Euless police released video of a 25-minute chase. The video shows what started as an attempt to pull over a driver suspected of DWI. The suspect, Micky Greeson, shoots at police and drives on his rims after getting hit with spike strips.
Maybe I’m old fashioned but if I was lying on the ground with a face full of asphalt, a knee in my back, in handcuffs, and 12 or 14 men in uniform encircling me with guns drawn, I’d think what a mess I’ve made of my life. Wouldn’t you be happier with a quiet calm life, no drugs, no alcohol, no police chases, no arrests, no court appearances, and no prison time?

But if that’s what you choose to do, ruin your own life and not anyone else’s. Do it at home and stay off the streets where innocent people are the victims.

I agree, but unfortunately Courts and Judges protect and defend criminals a lot more than victims. He'll probably be sentenced to 2 years in prison and will end up serving 7 months only.

Completely agree. Too many chases result in bystanders in completely unrelated vehicles getting killed because of the selfishness

I cannot believe they are not forcing police to wear gloves during any search of vehicles or persons. With all the fentanyl around, they are putting their own lives at risk to OD
True, but the officers should care enough about their own and their families' lives to wear them without an order to! Why do you need to force somebody to save their own lives? It's a simple thing that takes 2 seconds to put on! I keep them on me in my purse at all times because you never know when you will have to touch something gross, and because I care about my own and my husbands' lives enough to want to protect us.
With all that said, this took place where I grew up. They drove right past my favorite hangouts, my high school and the house we lived in until I got married. It's kind of strange seeing them go by so fast, and kind of nice to see them again!

I only have one husband. He's the original, the one I married when I was 17, and the one who will be married to me when one of us dies. We married for life. I do not believe in polygamy, and not sure why you even asked that question. Did the proper grammar confuse you?

You've clearly seen too few ASP videos. You are half correct but 100% wrong. They will chase until the rubber comes off their tires if needed but they will end many, maybe most, pursuits quickly. They'll PIT as soon as possible and possible to ASP is anything under 150 mph.
Watch more ASP. They're equal parts bloodhound, bulldog and pit bull. They rarely chase like these guys in this video have done. It's beyond unusual for them to just sit back and allow a vehicle to run.

I live in Dallas. I've personally seen cars driving on the freeway with a missing back tire and rim twice in the last year. There weren't any cops following. There are RUclips videos about this Dallas phenomenon. The scariest drivers in the World!!

In the video a woman is taken out of the driver's car and moved to the back side and on the ground. At the same time there are either nine or ten aimed at the driver who is on the ground out of visual sight for the viewer and I presumed the woman to still be on the ground on the right-rear of the car. During the video camera is still running and was never off nor the video stopped yet I never see the woman again. What happened to her? She probably would be cited as DWI by permission. Was she still on the ground between the police car and the offender's car waiting for someone to pick her up and take her to the Police station?
The driver asked about her, and the officer said they had her in the back of another cruiser. I didn't see her leave the ground either, so presumably they pulled her out of their way. Driver said his wife kept telling him to stop, but who knows how much of a willing participant she was in this.
She was out of the sight line of this particular dash cam. I'm sure the camera in a different cop car has the footage of her being picked up and moved.

PD leaders should be ashamed of themselves. As soon as the tires showed signs of losing air, the chase car should have looked for a pit maneuver. That car could easily have been spun around at slow speed several times. There were long stretches of no traffic or people. But instead, the PD allowed the car to drive right into a congested neighborhood putting property and injury to citizens at a very high risk. What if someone was walking their dog and run over by this scumbag? It was only 11PM. This BS about letting cars run out of energy, is putting the lives of good citizens at risk. They don't let this crap happen in AR.
STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE CRIMINALS AND WORRY ABOUT THE INNOCENT TAX PAYING CITIZEN.
There’s a ton of liability that goes into a PIT maneuver if you’re not certified, and then there’s the legal side of things. Quit getting mad at PD and start getting mad at the lawmakers that tie their hands.
They should see if they could train with Trooper Byrd of the Arkansas State Police - he is fast and precise every time!

They can’t “change the verbiage” of the United States Constitution. Our whole legal system is based on that. Now, they can change the courts and get some judges and prosecutors who are not gonna let this type of crime slide but that is about it.

@@delanorrosey4730 "Pitting or TVI is a qualification and not all cops are trained. Many places require command authorization to do a pit. Many places like Arkansas have PIT/TVI equipped units so the don't tear up expensive patrol units. You're best bet would be to call Euless PD and ask them.

I was on a lot of pursuits and if I had that sergeant (?) giving orders on the radio it would definitely made the pursuits more dangerous.

Unless something has recently changed highway patrol cars have restrictor plates on them that won't let them go over 150 mph. If you want to get away you have to have something that's faster than that.

You have to be specifically trained to PIT and many States don't allow it.
My question is why do they need 13 officers there I just watched another video from Arkansas and they had 15 officers and just standing around high fiving after an officer had did a pit maneuver in the city and the guys got arrested by 6 officers and officers kept showing up just standing
