- A driver in a Mercedes with fake paper tags led authorities on a high-speed, multi-city, hour-and-a-half-long chase Monday afternoon.
It ended with the driver on top of a stranger's car after he was cornered by a police K9.

@@cacola_3373 I believe he is referring to how friendly the dog was and pinning the suspect. Most K9's have to be pulled off and this one was not into it at all.

I am amazed at the inexperience the police have in stopping a car being chased. They seem to let them go and go and go and go with no knowledge of how to stop them from endangering the public. How very sad. A car chase needs to be stopped as soon as possible. The officer should know how to stop them.
I was saying this all the time, the cameraman on the helicopter's stupid excessive zoom-in was and always STUPID. the fact that they can even miss the guy just proved it.

Happy to see a PD who can keep up with the thug and not allow them to run for hours on end like in LA. I do wish the person in the helicopter would talk and tell us anything they know though. Like stolen vehicle, attempted pull over but ran, etc.

I worked at a self serve gas station when they first started and was always amused as to why they would only put a $1.00 worth of gas in at a time! A lot of times they would be back 4-5 times a day!!!

@@marierose7589 I don’t know how to say it without sounding racist! That was when gas was 29-35 cents a gallon and to only put a $1.00 at a time in then be back a little while later and put another dollars worth in! If you watch people they will amaze you at the things they do!
Did he hit that white truck at about 7:30? It was hard to tell if he narrowly missed him or bumped him.
Those Dallas freeways are complicated enough without there being a car chase on them. When I was coming out of Dallas going north I kept missing my exits because it was so much traffic. My poor GPS kept having to reroute me.

Really?? Handler of the dog got the criminal jumping on a car for protection and surrendering very peacefully, instead of continuing to jump fences to try and get away, possibly endangering residents lives. Blood thirsty people give officers and now K9s a bad rap.
Just be glad the police dept even had a dog, due to Democrats defunding of the police.

Driver's identity released... O. K. Sampson. Yeah, I don't know why we don't PIT them here. Probably because of how many personal injury attorneys we have. How did they know who was in the car Cece? It could also have been a stolen vehicle by a homicidal maniac. Police may have been making the original stop due to a traffic violation, but I promise he was most likely running due to a warrant out for his arrest. Not all drivers own the vehicle they are driving. It has to be a bigger deal, police wouldn’t risk their lives and those on the road to get someone for running from a traffic ticket.

@@cacola_3373 I do admit I like to see a well trained police K9 apprehend a criminal who endangers the public safety and runs from Police with a well deserved and yes sometimes bloody bite, this K9 may not have been trained in bite work but if he is he is "THE WORST POLICE K9 EVER".

They don’t run from a traffic stop, they run because of outstanding warrants. When the officer runs the license plate on the vehicle he just stopped for violation, the guilty person knows the police will find out and take them to jail, may have to do more time in prison if on probation. That’s when they want to run or fight/kill the cop. Any Race will run when there is a chance of going back to prison.
I think I’ve seen more white people in car chases. A real thug of any color will kill the cop then run.
