TO THIS DAY, THEY ARE STILL CHASING THAT CAR:
I hear they're celebrating Christmas together.
Hahaha yes 20 years on haha like it!!!
😂😂😂😂
@@RByrne 😅💦
That police suv can’t keep up with the benz
I'm a life long Texan but damn we suck when it comes to police chases. Arkansas State Police would have finished this chase in a few minutes instead of letting this idiot risk lives of hundreds of people. Come on Texas lets change the pursuit procedures.
Your absolutely right. Great comment 👍
The police is risking lives!!! Put thousands of lives on the line because mr cool guy officer wants to take one in! Cops are the biggest losers in life!
🤣🤣🤣
Yes your correct Texas cops are dumb (_I_)'s. This guy lost control cop could have had him right there. But know he says i'm going to be a dumb (_I_) and let this guy run more help him put a million more life's at danger !!
ah, but do they not have the patience to resolve the situation with the least amount of collateral damage and the lowest level of risk to both officers and the public? Also, ASP release dashcams selectively, to build a reputation and dissuade would-be chancers, but there are chases and standoffs which endure far longer than publishing the videos will allow.
This would have been a 10 minute video in Arkansas! They look for the 1st opportunity to PIT and they DO it! Wish we could have seen that here! Great job driving!
Different rules in AR
Arkansas cops are hillbilly boy scout thugs, that live for the chase...then lecture the one they are pursuing about what danger they put everybody in. Those cops live for the chase. They are all adrenalin freaks. It's a big game to them.
People complain about ASP for doing pits so they can't win for losing !
Oh
10 minutes that mercedes would have been balled up on it's roof engulfed in flames 🔥 😳 while K-9 was chomping away at the usual suspect 🤔
@@joanlovelace7338 Nothing is funner than seeing someone who knows how to drive know how to avoid the pits first by not letting the cop get alongside them, or if the pit does happen know how to steer out of them. " Well have you pitted him"? Cop... no he stays in front of me and won't let me get on his rear quarter. If you get pitted from the right steer left not allowing you to head for the ditch on the right. The best thing is never to allow the cop to get that close and steady up to pit you if you're really going fast.
I can not believe anyone posted this long of chase with no conclusion. No voice over or scripts.
I know, didn’t explain what happened. And that guy was one of the better ‘bad guys’ so I was wanting to see a bust. Cop has some big ones..!
You can find it in the live tab
He got out of the car, ran on foot then the K9/officer got him. He tried breaking into a house.
AGREED!!
Maybe you missed the word in the title that explained this..."RAW"
I could have mistaken this for California the way the cops let the chase go on and on and on.
What are they supposed to do, get everybody killed.. last I checked they're called Peace Officers, not Death Officers.. This may shock you, but real life is not the movies.. Police don't get to tear up the whole neighborhood, just to put someone in handcuffs..
Texas isn’t Arkansas where they Pitt maneuver children on bicycles
What should the cops do?
@@rowens208 their job properly would be a nice start.
What's improper about how they did their job? No innocents were hurt and the suspect was arrested
This officer is an awesome driver, Crdit where credit is due !!
Disagree, he was unsafe with civilians driving by, as well he lost him 😂💀
I wonder if ASP watches these videos after hours when having beers and just laugh 😂
That cop had some driving skills that is for sure.
Fun fact. If you turn the sound down and cover the car with your thumb. You wouldn’t even know this is a high speed chase. He definitely got driving skills…..
But not enough skills to end the chase with a pit. So many opportunities, I lost count.
Lol where are they so different than anyone else's with years of driving experience? Barely overtaking the regular traffic at most times. BTW it's a whole lot easier to follow someone clearing a path for you than it is to lead.
@@thatguy3468Hows he supposed to do a pit maneuver when there are so many cars around
@@ArnoldDuo-kl2xi there were plenty of opportunities. You just have to actually watch the video
I don't understand why you just end the video. People watch the pursuits to see the outcome
Its all about the CHASE...
What a chase! That big ol' suv police cruiser hangs with that POS Benz like it was attached to it. This officer's driving skills are second to none.
ASP would have PIT maneuvered this guy about 15 times during this video.
the Byrdman......lol
No ditches . Unlike Arkansas where it's a lot of rural area
Wrong every time he had a pit it was around pedestrians. Cop did right I was looking for it to.
@@mjsteelersnation Really? He should have done a pit manuever/TVI before they hit Terell, TX there's a lot of open space to the right of the interstate.
@@mjsteelersnation Wrong! ASP troopers PIT fleerers as quick as they can wherever they can. They do try to avoid pitting along tree lines but I've seen several ASP pits done in traffic with just a small gap to work with between motorists. They are very efficient and effective at what they do, even on freeways. Why just follow a vehicle for miles and miles (while wasting fuel and resources) if they aren't going to be aggressive and stop it? Might as well just back off and let them go every time. The ASP has it down to an art. Texas & other states need to follow ASP's lead & start learning how to apply the same tactics.
This officer is one great driver!!! ♡
He was not the only one❣
But they aren't so good at catching them Arkansas State Police are Awesome at it 👍
@@florencemiller7826Facts 💯💯
That’s gotta suck to be pulling every stunt you can think of in traffic driving a Mercedes and that cop is still right right behind you.
In an Explorer or Tahoe, no less!
Mercedes are crap that's why. People waste money on them when they get rich because they think their getting a good car.
In the 60s and 70s Mercedes were good cars. These days their just very expensive junk.
If you want to invest in a good car leave the German cars alone. Leave Ferrari alone .
You want a car that's gonna keep value get a Rolls Royce (still made by actual hands from the ground up. And can only be bought new by special order. And you get to pick everything that goes in the car to suit your needs. Real Wood dash and panelling , real leather hand stitched seats stuffed with real lambs wool. Wool Carpets and mats. ). And their value doesn't go down the second you drive it out the factory or get it delivered.
And look after them they go forever.
I have my grandfather who raised me 1965 Silver Ghost. It's still under its lifetime factory warrenty. Last year some jackass threw a rock at the windshield.
If it was a Mercedes is would have cost me over 1000 US to replace it.
Not the Rolls... It was picked up by a factory truck at 8 am Monday .(I live in the UK ) and came home with new windshield , free interior exterior clean and detail. FOR FREE. 10 pm same day.
(Ok I live 3 hrs from the factory.had I lived closer it would have probably been back before dinner time.).
It's still registered , it's very much road worthy. (Had a full factory ground up restoration in 2017.). Paint looks new , no rust , no dings , no dents no missing parts.
And it's one of the nicest cars you can drive. And despite its size. It's very easy to handle and park. It's extremely comfortable to sit in . And the back seat you could if need to use it as a bed.
I have new cars and I love them .
But my Grandfathers Rolls is the best car to have that will have a good long life a s cause minimal issues.
And THAT'S why I drive an Explorer : )
@@dnandez79 I saw another video with a cop chasing a BMW in an Explorer. At one point he keyed the mic and said, "I'm at 135 MPH and he's pulling away".
@@therealcoltstonewolfe really?! A Rolls ad? Not many criminals are just cruising and get in a chase in their Rolls..lol If ya have cash to order on, your comment, you have enough money not to run..lol
It’s such a shame cops have to do this but I absolutely love the ride along what a rush just observing😮😮😮😮😮
If the police aren't going to stop the criminals, they need to turn their lights off and go look for parking infractions. Quit making our roads chaos.
yea bruh usually when they’re going 100 over they turn off their lights and just try to get their tags asap 😂 or else its a big lawsuit if something bad happens 100 over
😂😂😂
Mercedes driver was pretty good but that deputy is a straight up ACE.
What? The runner had no understanding of car control. Trailing throttle oversteering into a guardrail. It was just pure luck that the cop refused to take him out.
that`s some damn fine driving- from both!
Autobahn-approved- from germany.
This is one of the best chases I’ve ever seen. Just incredible driving by both drivers.
@@FranklinBurns42 i binged them when I posted this response. I watched so many I don’t even remember this one but it is the only one I made this comment on 🤷♂️
Kind of unsatisfying if you ask me.
Say what??
I agree very well done . The driver did a lot of excellent moves to lose this cop. BUT: this cop drove so good I would let him fly me in an Airplane..
clearly you dont watch the chanel 'police activity'......or your just a bot.🤣😂
Wow! The most gripping and heart pounding pursuit EVER!
Sir, way to drive! Again, WOW!😂
The video ends with no stop no escape just a 53 minute cliffhanger
Like wtf
he ran out of gas
Think they had a hellcat undercover pick up the chase once the original cop run out of fuel
Edit: just the state troopers picked it up and looks like K9 had the guy cornered on top of a car 😂
That is why there fast forward buttons. watched the first 8 min, and then went to time-stamp 44 min, to see if they are still driving.....
Thanks for the heads up
Wow, Im surprised they didn't call this chase off with all the traffic. Both good drivers
It s a cartoon ... a tune via cars ... a frequency to entice ...its like a lying girlfriend, prancing in front of you knowing you aint gonna ever stop her whoredom.
They to take pit practice from ASP. This would have been over long ago.
ASP would have pitted him, stuffed and cuffed him and been at the donut shop before the next batch of hot donuts dropped!
Of course, several nearby cars would have been pitted as well, and innocent people hurt or killed. It's just collateral damage.
Fantastic driving by officer.. Well done !
My fav part is how he used his blinker 😂
Do not forget using the brake lights also, got to keep the charges as few as possible you know.
But didn't obey the law in any other way😮
Mannnn, talk about being on the edge of your seat. Talladega 500 with serious driving skills 😳😬🙌
There were more than just left turns though. 😂
I guess the cop wanted to be sure that the driver will arrive home safely? that was a kind gesture of him.
😊
🤣🤣🤣
It's not necessarily effective to ram such a heavy Mercedes. These vehicles are made of much thicker steel than other cars. You'll demolish your own car, with the Mercedes driving on.
@@HansDunkelberg1 with due respect to Mercedes Benz, it's a great car, but those police vehicles are provided with crash bars at front in order to pit other vehicles without getting damage, or minimize it.
@@Helmy67 Trying to do palpable damage to a heavy Mercedes you'll easily damage also such crash bars. This might obstruct you in maneuvering, then. The police can do magic just as little as anyone else.
Also shooting into a heavy Mercedes is not necessarily possible. I'm reading that three limousine models of the brand have bulletproof windows. That's is fine when there sits a peaceful politician or company boss inside, but a different affair with a gangster.
At 43:16, the pursuer may have abstained from a PIT (precision immobilization technique) maneuver also because it would have happened on the opposite lane and before a curve obstructing the view for oncoming traffic.
What's really impressive is that the cop in the lead was driving a Tahoe. That's really impressive.
53:24 minutes of the most insanely dangerous chase on the web, in heavy traffic. An absolute miracle that there wasn’t a killer accident !!!! FOX. WHERE IS THE ENDING. !!!!!!!!!!!!
If the car is not stolen, get the license number and let them go. You can get them at home later. Find out the address and have unmarked cars waiting for them when they arrive home.
LOL
You can't prove in a court of law who was driving. Travon could say is uncle Jemel was driving.

All police chases have me on edge watching, but the night chases scare me the most. God bless you all
It started off looking like my drive to work, but became one of the most electrifying car chases I've seen.
It was more intense than camping 🏕
Great job driving but what was that sound in the car? Sounded like something was loose on the vehicle.
I thought it was typing on a keyboard, but no way right?
MAN THIS COP CAN DRIVE. NEVER LOST HIM. AND STAYED COOL AS A CUCUMBER DURING THE WHOLE CHASE. GREAT JOB.
It was honestly a douche bag move on the department to even pursue in dense traffic like this. I only have opinions tho. HAVE A GREAT DAY!
@Scotty Pimpin ATL agreed why put everyone on the road at risk wow this cop is a moron he cut through the shopping center at full speed
Same here and looked as he's driving a truck or tahoe
I would have boo boo’ed on myself 😂😂😂.
@@ScottyPimpinATL he was so far away from his county (Kaufman Sheriff) they probably couldn’t call him off if they wanted to.
Unbelievable driving skills, on both sides!
Gotta say both of them have driving skills once the speed picked up.
Looks like a relaxing drive to me haha
Great driving skills? Yes, the cops learn that by making it to the nearest donut shop right when the maple bars come out of ....the fryer. Just kidding...I'd like to know what model that Benz is. Amazing handling. It looked smaller than a S series, but damn it handled well. I wonder why they didn't show how this ended? Could it have been that Benz finally got away and they didn't want to show it?
@@johnnyohness It looks like the police terminated the chase as it got to dangerous in that built up area. As to them both being good drivers.. the Mercedes had a big advantage in handling. The cop had to use more skill in keeping up.
@@expat2010 Well, maybe a little. remember the lead car has to plow a path through existing traffic forward without crashing into existing traffic. The cop following only had to follow his lead in a path already cleared. The lead car always had a much higher risk of crashing all the cop car had to do is follow him. The Mercedes (even in its stock form) is a superior handling car to the altered cop car. Both drivers were great. I just wonder how long that would have gone on if the Mercedes hadn't hit that sand/dirt patch.
killers got much better car...
This Constable had numerous opportunities within the first 20 minutes to PIT him. Instead they let this jagoff keep rolling putting innocent people at risk.
Yea he’s supposed to pit maneuver him when there are other cars around……
I like it when the scenery is familiar. I was sure hoping that somehow an ASP Trooper would show up though 😀
ASP?
Arkansas pd
Arkansas State Police ASP are very effective in the pit maneuver for stopping chase cars. ( one exception a special Hellcat that's eluded them more than once)
I have seen ASP in a chase in Texas
Good thing this wasn't in FL. Metro State would've had him cuffed AND stuffed.
That Constable glued that Tahoe to the back of his bumper. What an edge-of-seat chase through my old stomping grounds. Don't think the Tahoe ran out of fuel, I've seen the raw air video and it shows the Constable sticking to the end. I could be wrong since there were other Kaufman units still with the pursuit.
This is some of the best non-police driving I have seen in some time. Brought back too many memories. Also reminded me that Texas DPS don't mess around. River would have called it off a long time ago.
I love how no one gets over or out of the way on the expressway
First time I've seen a cop stop to take a lunch break in the middle of a pursuit. He had the perfect opportunity to do a PIT but then hesitated and backed off, apparently remembering that his department isn't authorized to do PIT maneuvers.
Pretty sure he drove towards the gas station
What will a PIT help if the vehicle the gangster is in has bulletproof windows?
@HansDunkelberg1 lol, why would you think he has bulletproof windows?
@@RByrne There are three sedan models of Mercedes which have bulletproof windows and look much like the car of the fugitive in the video.
@HansDunkelberg1 wow, I didnt know that. I knew they made the "guard" models in the past, and some G wagens, but not S-class. Thats pretty cool!
Disappointing ending, I wanted to see him get caught..
When I saw Fox 4 news, I should have checked towards the end to see if there was an ending. Other than the driving, the best part was there was no know it all announcer making assumptions about what the driver and the police were going to do or should do.
I’m also from Texas and right now ashamed to admit it this is ridiculous that they allowed the chase to go on that long in traffic that heavy at those speeds do y’all not know what a PIT move is y’all should have called one of those Arkansas state boys they would have ended it in about 5 minutes
If your not going to PIT them to end it, let them go, the cops just put the public at risk for no reason. Texas is becoming a huge disappointment
If this was an Audi or BMW, they would’ve gotten away😂
WTH...Did I miss something? What happened at the end? GEEEZZZ! Nothing like leaving us hanging!!...Cop was AWSOME!!
It’s in other video on channel.
Nah he wasn't? He put lives in dangerous predicaments and totally disgusting

@@crazyfrank3866its a scat they seized off of a drug dealer a while back. The markings/lightings on it is badass in person.
That chase is nothing but DANGER for every citizen on the road.
Tampa tried the no chase policy a few years ago. The crime rate doubled overnight, once the bad guys knew all they had to do was step on the gas. The chase policy was quickly reinstated.
*It really got me thinking seriously about my own Carbon Footprint . . .* ✏ 🦶🏼 - j q t -
At 8:30 when the driver takes the exit ramp, they have already been refusing to pull over for approximately 7 minutes and 10 miles. At this point, on a lane with no traffic and at a reduced speed, why not pit the car on the ramp? Was it lack of officer/driver training or policy that prevented a pit maneuver attempt?
Chase on video and no arrest on video , LOVE THESE VIDEO ENDINGS OF NO ACTUALLY ENDING!!!!!!! SAD VERY SAD
Almost an hour and don’t show us the end?!? What a joke
@43:13, WOW! DUDE!!! He lost control of the vehicle, bounced off the wall, spun around, got control of the car and then got back on the road and continued where things left off at from before!!!
That was the car much more than the driver.
Kudos to the cop who was able to keep up with the suicidal driver for so long. Great driving skills even though I know that he was getting tired. But he did pass up several good attempts at a SAFE pit maneuver. He was just a little shy to make an attempt which, if he succeeded, would have ended the chase and removed a dangerous driver from the highways and biways. While watching I was imagining the drivers who witnessed this chase then 40 minutes late saw the same car being chased by the same cop. Arkansas State Police would have removed this road hazard in 5 minutes.
I guess Texas has a different philosophy when it comes to catching violators. They just follow them till they run out of gas or get tired and have to stop for a nap.
That was pretty funny.
Road construction everywhere and drivers camped out in the left lane....yep, definitely DFW area.
I live in North Texas. This looked like footage from my dashcam from my daily drive into work.
spot on, I started tapping the 10 sec skip for 40 mins of this. my impression was just that, the cop was just following a commuter.
😂 Funny, but just a little overstated.

If these cops had half a brain when the car goes to an exit, it’s only one lane with trucks in front of them. Why doesn’t the cop just order the truck in front of the car to stop? And then the car would not be able to get out
Why did he try to stop them? Probable cause? The officer is just as reckless as the driver. SMH
All this for a paper tag. They all could've killed someone or caused a bad accident ridiculous our tax money goes to bs like this, he would've been stopped if he paid for his own gas.
Exactly, people praising the Cop's driving just don't realize the extra hazard it added to the pursuit, especially with lights and siren. If the Cop was driving on a track, then I would be the first to compliment his driving skills. He's very lucky he didn't cause a catastrophic wreck.
Timmy had a promising career with Nascar, but he threw it all away. 🤷
Absolutely UNJUSTIFIED!!
This officer knows how to drive. Hard to follow someone like that for that long.. following a course of action not dictated by yourself at high speed is no easy task. I enjoyed this.
The average 13-year-old school girl could out drive that police officer, completely pathetic.
I lost count at 13 times he could have pitted him safely. Completely worthless police officer. He should put on desk duty for a minimum of 10 years, possibly forever. He should never be allowed to drive.
@@rickhalverson2252 Would you have been sure that you can shoot through the windows of such a Mercedes? And even if you had been sure of this, could you sufficiently have excluded hitting other traffic participants?

wow, a video and we don't get to see the end. that SUCKS!!!!
Good Lord! What. A. Chase!
I can’t believe the cops let this driver endanger so many lives. I mean what were they waiting on? For him to kill somebody. This was ridiculous!! And it’s infuriating that we watch all of this but not see how it ends or who that idiot was!!
Officer was just trying to get to that Subway the whole time. Other guy just thought he was being chased.
Wow they are actually fighting crime instead of messing with truckers parked on the on-ramp! Amazing
There are several sides to the argument about whether the Police should chase someone fleeing in their car after committing a crime or a driving infraction. The word would quickly circulate in the underground world of people who commit crimes. They will think if you get in your car fast enough you win because they can’t be chased. I think it would still be dangerous because they would try to flee & innocent people could still be hurt or worse. Already many people think it’s ok to load their shopping carts up & leave the store. Many stores tell employees not to pursue shoplifters. 😟
The type of crime doesn't matter to those cops. They would follow you to the end of the earth just for a burned-out license plate lite. It's this us against them mentality and if they wreck their unit in the process the tax payors will furnish them with a new one. They are adrenalin freaks and it's a big game to them.
So when do we stand up to these cockroaches?

Guy should have had an AMG, but hid Bilsteins and Brembos didn't let him down. That car was TIGHT.
Yeah so tight that a freaking Tahoe stuck right to its butt the whole time. Lol
I will never understand turning a simple traffic stop into a felony with extra charges. Just makes no sense how dumb some people can be.
Well when there's a gun and illegal drugs in the car, people take their chances
@@rowens208 yeah, probably a felony warrant as well.
dumb is the criminal system. Some decent people refuse to deal with criminals.
Should have pinned him when he lost control. Leaving him run after that endangered loads of people because he could have a tire going down after his crash
I just had an idea on at least two ways to help out in traffic chases like this one.
If the police could communicate to a few trucks that could block all of the lanes up ahead when there are concrete barriers on either side of the highway, then that would definitely create an impasse for the perp, especially as traffic behind the chase starts to accumulate from behind.
Or, the police could radio to an officer ahead further down the highway and just tell them to bring traffic to a complete halt. Obviously this would inconvenience a lot of people, but it would also box in the perp in complete gridlock.
So why would this work? Because gridlock and concrete barriers would make the perp feel trapped by vehicle and so they would likely bail on foot or give up.
The only downsides would be if the perp decided to attempt ramming vehicles (which at a near standstill wouldn’t cause as much harm as hitting innocent travelers at speed), or if the timing of the closure / gridlock events allowed for an opening in the concrete barriers that would let the perp continue to flee. Or, if cornered, the perp decided to start shooting at the police and or vehicles in their way. The last downside is unlikely if enough of a gridlock is created because the depth of the vehicular traffic would be too much for them to feel like they could ram or shoot their way out.
So, through these two tools I think chases like this could be more safely brought to a conclusion by utilizing the highway infrastructure and traffic as confining barriers to the perp, unknowingly trapping them with just a little bit of radio coordination.
Agree 100%. Been saying that for YEARS! Especially in California, there is no excuse for not doing rolling roadblocks a couple of miles ahead.
And if just one of those helpful citizens, when it went to single lane with barriers on both sides...if just one would have stopped their car, (blocking the way) got out, and ran...the thing would have ended right there.
Similar thought occurred to me. Drawback: In today's society, think of the endless lawsuits that would follow -- against the police. Sad.
It’s called a rolling roadblock… and it’s used extensively in the Northeast as a common way to bring high speed pursuits to a halt safely. While a few officers are in pursuit, several Troopers a few miles ahead will begin to swerve slowly across all lanes of traffic essentially bringing traffic to a grinding halt. It’s extremely effective as it leaves nowhere for the felon to go… shoulders get blocked up as well often times. Off ramps as well.
18 Wheelers used to get involved but I believe that practice stopped most likely due to insurance carriers not paying out claims if their rigs got involved in any sort of accident due to them helping out.
But your idea is a good one, and it is used in our region all the time.
Rolling road blocks are not allowed. Police do get ahead and cause gridlocks and deploy stop sticks. That kind of coordination means officers would be making actions on the unpredictability of a pursuit direction. It's not so easy. Intercommunications between agencies is challenging because of different equipment and different policies between assiting departments so they play telephone with each other with 5-10sec delays. At 100mph, 10 seconds is alot. What seems to make sense to everyone isn't always allowed or doable.
@@rowens208 Not sure where you live, but in Southern California they do rolling roadblocks on the freeway all the time.
Oddly, not usually for chases though...mainly just accidents or Presidential stuff.
Texas need a Trooper Byrd at the scene. This chase would have lasted 10 minutes or less.
That is some great driving of the òfficer keeping up!!
C'mon people, don't use fake paper tags.
