Dude!!! You are a life saver. That light had been driving me crazy and your very easy to follow directions solved my issue. I had just had all service done; new tires, new wipers, oil change w/ new filter at a non-MB garage. A week later the A 1 service light comes on and MB WOULD NOT reset it unless they repeated the service that I had just had done (minus new tires)!!! Crazy.
Having issues? Important that the odometer reading is showing when you are on the TRIP indicator. If it is not, scroll with the up/down arrows until the odometer shows. Press the ANSWER phone button first, then the OK button quickly and hold both. Both phone buttons are not required, just the one on the right. No odometer showing... it wont work!

Our 2012 ML350 BlueTec has a slightly different set up for resetting service. 1. Turn on the car w/o starting it. 2. Make sure that no menu is selected. 3. Press Hang Up & Dial Button first (on the right) & then press OK (on the left) & hold all 3 for 2-3 seconds. If we are in any menu already as you show, it takes us to resetting the menu values (in this case trip values) instead of service menu. Thank you.
Please google it it's very easy to find A and B service is just a different list of what needs to be done on a car. For example: A service it's oil change and tire rotation. B serviced depends on the mileage it can be more deeper, oil change tire rotation still will be under this service plus transmission oil flush, air filter change, brake pads, brake fluid change . And many more other services that goes under the B service. But most of the time it depends on what mileage, and what recommended by Mercedes.
hey ivan....I have a 2016 gle coupe suv,, dealer said the reset process is the same as a 2012 ML and up but wouldn't do it for me because I don't service my car at the dealer....I've watched your videos and tried several times and can not get to step 2 after turning ignition to position 1... can you please help me :)

U have sensor that probably broke, disconnected or missing. It should be some where under the car . Pretty easy to replace. Its call "Ambient Air Temperature Sensor"

I don't understand why your car wouldn't start?... you have nothing to do with brakes. Also I highly recommend you to read through entire comment section. you might find your answer there
How you corectly start the car engine on 2014 ML350? on mine takes lime 1-2 seconds to turn on the engine when i turn the key to the right ,it has a little noise and after started! Thank you

Hi I only drive my 2012 ML350 on Sundays last year i had my B service done now it showing I need A service. I don't drive it enough to need oil change or any of the other stuff I tried to reset but am unable to please help I don't want to just give away my money to the dealer ship

I follow this: 1- all my doors and windows is close, put the key in first position 2- push left arrow, it show me the menu I selected SERVICE it show three options MESSAGE, TIRE, SERVICES PLUS 3- I selected SERVICES PLUS , it say Service exceeded 5007 miles in the side bottom the function Services plus.... I had the same problem because i was doing he same thing you were doing. Then I looked at the the video three times and saw i was doing one thing wrong. I looked the 4th time and followed him and it went well
adam under front Passenger seat. u gotta move seat all the way forward to get to it. should be plastic cover u unsnap or gotta cut carpet. use only gel type battery
it does. just keep trying. some time u have to do different stuff. like open and close door first. Unlock and lock. it's never work first time for me too. I still didn't figure out that 100% step to get to that menu
Did it yesterday and it really works. I will test drive it today to see if there is any computer malfunction for bypassing the MB dealership system. Thanks for the reply.

+Sheila Sabalboro your model of your car is not going to make a difference, I'm not sure what the problem, but the other day I was changing the oil on the same vehicle and it took me forever to get access to a service I was even following my own video and it would not work.... after few tries it finally worked, so just keep trying make sure your hood is close, your doors are closed, maybe walk out lock your car and then unlock and then tried. let me know if it's work. sorry that it's not working for u. please let me know if it'll work.

You don’t have to push the end call button, nor does the trip icon need to be highlighted. Just need to be on the total mileage menu.

adam what model u have W164 or W166, cuz they have different locations. under the hood and under front passenger seat
