Mercedes Benz ML350 - Resetting Service (ML350 2012 - 2015) and (GLE350 2016 - 2018) W166

After you perform the service on your Mercedes Benz yourself, you will need to reset the service in your car. This is the very simple and quick way to do this.
Warning, if your car is still under warranty, this may void the warranty if you do this yourself.

I have a 2012 ML350. Went to take 5 to have the oil changed, and the gas meter stopped working. I drove back to take 5 practically cursing them out for doing this. Take 5 recommendations was to take it to the dealer. The dealer wanted $125 for do a diagnostic test saying he’s never seen anything like this from an oil change, maybe I need a fuel pump or sensor 😢. Then something said 🤔💡”RUclips it”. I had to do it a couple of times and drive a little bit but it worked. Thank you for your content. You are appreciated! 😊

I figured it out. You MUST have it displaying the mileage of the vehicle before it will work. Just having it on trip isn’t enough

@@hackprine5691 will try to find it. I’m having so many issues with mine right now. Tried taking it to multiple shops, no help. Radio display works but not the audio. Fuses are good, hoping it’s bad battery and not amp. Have heard of this?

I couldn't get this to work on a 2013 ML350 Had it on trip, Pushed and held phone and ok buttons and nothing happened. Reset the lights with my Autel scanner instead.

Mine says "full service cannot be carried out " ,I just replaced the gas cap, is that why?

Gas cap is irrelevant. I changed my oil and needed to reset it. I saw that same message but when I went to ASSYST PLUS, it was actually reset.

I’ve never seen that. If you follow my instruction it should let you. If not, you can call MB service and ask them why it’s not letting you. They should be able to help you.

Hi Mohammad, sorry for the delayed response. I alway use OEM parts. Sometimes it’s Genuine MB sometimes I order it from the manufacturer that sells to MB - that saves me thousands of dollars.

It’s Tricky. Mine didn’t work the first several times I tried it, if you follow my directions and keep trying it, it should work.
