How to Fix Unresponsive Shoulder Bumpers Elite Series 2

Thank you so much for this, I couldn't find anyone else who explained how to fix this specific problem, now my controller works great.
Anyone reading this in the future, bear in mind that there is a chance that you might accidentally push the piece too much which makes it overtly sensible and activates on its own. and that can can be as troublesome as the button not working. You can fix that by just pushing it back a little lol

Yo I literally went through two elites because of this issue and just bought new ones after getting the unresponsive bumper issue. This just saved my pockets for when I run into the issue again with the new one.

If you have a old elite, you can use white part behind the switch to the elite 2 to help with bending. Hope it helps

I tried alcohol, only worked temporarily and the issue came back. Tried this now and it worked. Will do some testing.

idk if my bumper is just cooked, this + wd40 helped a little bit, just the bending alone would either make it stuck or still need a heavy press to register.
