@@saiajin82 kinda, TMS Right is used to change sighting options, but for some reason you have to “cycle” the sighting options( which doesn’t actually cycle) to slave the tgp to radar

Coming from BMS I’m just getting into the DCS viper and so far it’s incredibly foreign feeling - it seems to want to fall out of the sky like a brick when maneuvering at anything much over 7 degrees AOA. Scrubs speed like crazy, “feels” heavier and less inclined to “float” than the BMS viper. Also at a glance it seems to be much more fuel efficient - might be my imagination. It also seems to accelerate and reach higher speeds faster at similar degrees of climb …
@@TrickerDCS thanks bro i have 1 more qaution for you, when i am using my f-16 than i press the key to look from the outside and i see on my aircraft "callsign1 ariel1 "and the knotical miles and i dont wanna see it + i see it also on other planes how do i make it to desapeare.
Just what I was looking for! Though I feel like it kind of defeats the purpose of having the ag radar, I usually just have the tgp slaved to a steer point in good weather. I would only use AG radar with heavy clouds over the target when I cant use the tgp, and then there’s no purpose to do the hand-off. Thanks for the help
When I press the A button (LEFT MFD OSB 18) and I'm already in DBS1/2, the radar still simulates being in 60 degrees and doesn't move to 30 or 10 degrees. Only in NORM it works to modify the radar's azimuth limit. Any idea why this happens? Kindly appreciate. Thanks!
@@TrickerDCS Figured it out. You have to be in CCRP. Which makes sense. And training bombs are nice when for you want to leave little Timmy's house intact. =)
Thanks Tricker. How come you did't get the black area around the FCR cursor when you hit EXP and then DSB1 and DSB2. You didn't seem to offset at all. I get a black area when I do that so I need to offset to fix it, but you didn't get that at all.
No matter what my settings are, I always end up with a significant difference between my FTT and the real life location of the target. Sure, using the TGP allows me to correct for that, but is there a way to reduce cross-range error when using the radar only for weapon delivery?
ground radar is pretty useless for finding targets. you can see only airfields or big bridges etc. and if you know that your target is in that field then you can make fine tunning. and if the weather is not good, you can only bomb very roughly estimated area
