FL62 Taxi to Parking

  • Flight No. 62 This is a solo practice flight, took-off from Palo Alto Airport (KPAO) 27-Dec-2015, went to KHWD and back. I did some pattern work on initial take-off from KPAO, proceeded to KHWD, did some more pattern work and return to KPAO and did a few more landings.
    I currently have logged 92.6 total hours including today's flight, about 14.5 hours as PIC.
    Today's plane is a Cessna 172S G1000 from Advantage Aviation, tail number N5276P.
    Completed my flight and taxing back to parking. Then I got the dreaded call, call tower through this number after your flight. I was scared that they were going to reprimand me for failing to follow the tower call. I spoke to the supervisor after my flight and he was very nice. He explained what the call was all about and what they want me to execute on that call. The instruction was a very rare call that they use, I personally haven't heard it before. So that was it. But for me, I need to do better on my radio communications.
    Shot with GoPro Hero4 Black for front view set at 1080p 30fps superview (ultra wide), with extended battery and GoPro Hero4 Silver for the instrument shot set at 1080p 30fps narrow view, GoPro Hero3 Black shot at 1080p 30fps wide view. Two are mounted with suction cup to the windshield and left side window. Suction cups are RAM Mount for side and GoPro Mount for front. The instrument view is mounted to a Fat Gecko Copilot bar and attached using a RAM Mount.

    Audio is post process using Sonar X1 Producer, compression, high pass filter, notch filter and leveling added to enhance the audio. Processing done on all video except when noted. Video editing done on Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13.
