My Private Pilot Video Log

Update, in May 2016 I became a certified private pilot. Then I got endorsed to fly Cessna 182T G100, considered a high performance rating. I have been flying C182T since I got endorsed. I am currently building cross country hours that will go towards my instrument rating certification.
I am a student pilot here in Palo Alto, Northern California. I just started. My channel is about capturing all my lessons with CFI Mark Erwin for my review. Reviewing the video allows me to go over what I miss and mistakes I made. It is all about learning and getting better every time I go up.
I have joined the local flight club, Advantage Aviation. I will be exclusively flying Cessna 172S G1000 planes.
I also started training with aerobatic instructor Steve Neighbor at Attitude Aviation in Livermore, CA. I will be flying a Citabria, a tail dragger.
Looking forward to the next flight.

why say "clear prop", and instatly start the engine? Gives no one a chance to get out of the way.
I didn't hear any "clear prop" in this video. I assume it was said right before the video started. I agree with you that you shouldn't say clear right as you start the engine, my guess again is that it was said right before the video.

I just want to say thank you so much for posting theses. I feel like I have taken this journey with you and it has inspired me to started my flight training. It's amazing to know that on this flight you had the same feeling of being overwhelmed with information! This is exactly how I felt. But now that I look at the latest videos and you seem very confident and in complete control. Congrats!

How many flight hours to do you have at this point of your training?
Dmitri Mogiliver I have about 29.7hours total so far. That includes some flying on a tail dragger and also some flying for fun, just to break the constant grind.
