had a commercial pattern where I didn't like the skirt, used this method to draft an A-line skirt to replace it with. EXTREMELY EASY and straightforward, and the fit is wonderful. Thank you for sharing this!
Hi Maria, do you have instructions for a basic skirt block, and/or for an extended bodice block? On your website you mention at least the skirt block, I think, but I couldn’t find it…
Merci Maria pour tout ces contenus tellement bien expliqué, c'est de plus en plus beau. C'est très plaisant de vous voir. Peut-être que ça vous apportera plus de vues de mettre le terme 'larg bust" dans vos titres !
Hello Laurence, nice to hear from you again! Thank you so much for your support. I will definitely put 'large bust' in the title when I can... I think what will help more than anything is if I can post more regularly; if not weekly, then fortnightly. I really do need to break down the content and post shorter videos more frequently. (RUclips will recommend me more if I post more often!). Maybe I can't post fortnightly this year, but I do plan on doing so next year. But thank you again for your concern and your support, I really do appreciate it.
Here is a list to the Videos in this series (Variations on a Silhouette) Only 4 videos so far: (1) Contouring ruclips.net/video/IEsOqbW7ouM/видео.html (2) Empire Bodice ruclips.net/video/VVJVrFnIssY/видео.html (3) A-line Skirt This video (4) 6 Panel Skirt ruclips.net/video/VRE-GxzktfY/видео.html
Hello Linda, yes you do end up with a bit more 'ease' in the hip. The choice is either that, or end up with the side seam on a different angle. However, the amount of extra ease is minimal. Given that this (design) ease is part of the flared skirt, I don't think it is an issue.

If I wanted to add more flare could I just slash and spread on the same pattern piece rather than drawing it again? Thanks for your hard work x

When you adjust the front pattern piece to match the empire line length, you are adjusting the ease, correct?
