I always enjoy your vids, Ben. Very clear and simple. Would love to see a nice hour long vid of a good session. Tight lines :)

I pull the line through the tail end of the fish so it's hanging on the line like a pice of washing. Then tie a quick change clip to the line and attach that to the trace so the fish can't come off. Then if you want to change bait just unclip the link and push through the tail of the new fish and reattach the clip. The bait can't come off and no need to retie a trace when changing bait.

Do you buy these baits frozen ,or catch them at the water? If frozen, does that not cost a few quid for every session?

Trying to get into pike angling. Have stashed some roach in my freezer and although we still are in the middle of long heatwave during this August'22, I've started to wet the tackle to test gear and get XP. Found out my roach after thawing become very soft and may come off during just a normal cast. I haven't seen any bait elastic for sale. Ideas to overcome this problem?

Use an elastic band if you can't find any mate but I never bother unless I'm fishing maybe further than 15 yards? But I do mainly fish on a river or canal
