I have a very clear procedure for this: 1) Visualize what you want 2) If is a very big goal, cut it in small pieces 3) For each piece, understand what you need to reach that goal 4) Put the needed work. You'll watch an entire Netflix show even when the first episodes are slow and boring just because someone told you "it gets better." *But what if you looked at your goals like that and watched your life get better instead?*
But I know that someone already know what's happening in the further episodes. And they don't know my future .. So how can I believe their words... The analogy doesn't make sense, sorry

Guys, when you practice visualization, don't forget the feeling component, it's the most important part. When you see your wish fulfilled, FEEL the positive emotions connected to it and gratefulness for the fact that it happened.

Visualisation and desire in general comes from a feeling of inadequacy with where you are now. I used to try manifesting all of the time, but I realised how much of my life I was wasting by spending all of my time wishing I was somewhere else. I still have desires and goals, but I don't pin my happiness on achieving them.
Same here. I was practicing it 2 years ago. As it is so popular. But I messed up. As an overthinker, I keep working for my goal. My psychologist , pointed out it. And the best I m doing is living in present. It reduced burden inside me. Life is exciting , just give it a shot.yes I still have goals and plan but I do set picture. But try not to over do it.
For someone with anhedonia, this may be a life-changing exercise. It makes your brain work on dopamine, which in turn makes you motivated to get whatever it is you're visualizing. The best balance is to be dopaminergic during the day and serotoninergic before going to sleep. During the day you want to go after the things you value, and during the night you need to be content with what you already have (a gratefulness exercise may help with that).
what you said about listening to your inner voice! visualization has often helped me recognize what is it that i truly want and what is something that for one reason or another i've been conditioned to believe i should, to put myself in the position where i have what i want has helped me immensely to understand my will beyond the will itself, what makes me comfortable, what makes me feel good and fulfilled, what does not belong to me, what it is not useful to who i am working to become, it's an amazing tool for recognition and a deeper understanding of our actual desires.
During my 20 years battle with depression out of a total 27 years, i think i didn’t achieve a true breakthrough until i started implementing what i am learning from you Lana, Please keep it up thank you so much for life lessons, you are a true reminder that we’re all humans
11:40 LOL that’s basically it. I‘ve watched SO many manifestations videos by e.g. Aaron Doughty and Leeor Alexandra and read books about the Law Of Attraction by Esther Hicks, Neville Goddard etc. and it all comes down to: 1) you have to actually BELIEVE that your goal will happen. You can also act like it already happened and feel the emotions of already having it. 2) Surrender. Let go. Don’t put that thing on a pedestal. You should be okay with the situation in either way. And don’t force it, because if you chase something, it tends to walk away even further from you lol. You always draw that which you are, and you are that which you feel yourself to be as well as that which you feel as true of others. 😊

one instance where i have harnessed the power of visualization is when i applied for a very selective award in my university in 2021. I begin drafting the application essays. at the same time, I wrote in my manifestation journal, describing in detail the day i imagined i will be receiving the award - what i will be doing, how i will feel, etc. i carried that feeling with me as I crafted my essay in greater detail and quality. and yes - i got the award. exactly as i described in my manifestation journal. visualization is very powerful in the way that it could shift your mindset and give new perspectives on how to approach your goals.
“You can’t visualize and then go eat a sandwich” Made me laugh out loud Lana! Thank you sistah! Love the message and the quality of your videos! Such a treat✨✨
@@richardsmeele Pretty sure it means that the sandwich doesn't just appear out of thin air only because you visualize having it, so you can't expect to be able to eat the sandwich you are imagining right away. You need to put in the work to get it first.
Great practice! Visualising is like another form of setting goals, but by making it a visceral experience when you’re seeing/ hearing/ feeling what it’s like to be “there”, makes it stronger motivation to keep going with that goal. At least that’s how I’ve experienced it too! Thanks for sharing! ❤️

"Put your castles in the air, that's where they should be. Now, put the foundations underneath." Anon. The path itself should be as exciting as the goal otherwise the path becomes too difficult or banal and may keep the dream as just that, a dream. If we see them as way points to the next step instead, perhaps it makes them easier to achieve.
VISUALIZATION .. I was doing this regularly , while I'm on the road listing to music, while I'm reading, while I'm on bed heading to sleep. But . I can say that I do this unconsciously without paying attention that this is visualization and it meant something. While listening to the example u mentioned about living and waking up in a place of your dreams , I started to imagine myself there, doing all these things. Now besides visualizing and imagining , I will write down every bit and piece , add to to this working as hard as I can . thank I so much for this inspirational video !
This is ridiculous but at the same time very profound. The problem with these videos is that these people had these specific goals but at the same time had some opportunities others could never have in their lifetime. This was awesome :-) visualizing is my favorite way to get myself into a better headspace and be more motivated. One of my biggest goals is to move to San Diego. The thing about making visualisation work is that you have to match your emotional state of being with what it would be like in the visualization. If you managed to do that you would match your visualization and succesfully experience that reality very soon! But why that is rarely the case, and is very hard, is because we all have a conditioned emotional state of being as some call energy or "vibration" in spiritual circles. And why visualization can be hard or give no result is becuase we bring our present emotional state of being into our visualization which makes it impossible to match with that potential reality.

I got so much of a motivation from your videos that I decided what I wanted to be I want to be a trainer a coach life coach have my own channel podcast and do it in my native language. I visualize it so many times in a day and i started to notice that life is dragging me that way since then . so I try to think about it
Mmm this is just so powerful, I have done the same for the past few years - it is definitely not coincidental, or magical - but a really powerful way of working towards goals and making things happen ♥️🙏 Love your videos! xx
*Visualization is always good.* It´s like our dreams are tangible and imaginable. It´s great that you believe in vizualization. I believe you could make more videos and films on that topic. Your podcasts are amazing. I was wondering what if I once make a film about you. It would be insipred by you (only softly, overall and fundamentaly). But I am not sure, yet. You are extremelly sympathetic and beautiful. I wish I had your figure, you are very slim. Thank you for reading and I am looking forward to your next videos.
I once heard somewhere that the best place to visualize is while in a plane flying through the clouds. I never forgot that and I always remember to do that whilst traveling ☁️.
I just build a caffe racer motorbike this year. It was funny when i here uou talking about bikes lol. I did not use visualisation, meditation or anything. i could imagine and had idea of what was it going to look like...now important was the time , timing wheather it is moto project or life desisions it is good to be flaxible and open for quick or slow changes. The ideals are perfection in everything we do or for the best- perfectikn by our own personal standards. I follow that last ☺ and the motorbike is out of place, peopke turn heads and more important i enjoy riding it. Thanks for shareing your toughts.
Visualization is a good companion to self awareness. When I played basketball I would use visualization to visualize making free throws. But you can’t visualize being the QB in the super bowl or a singer on American idol if you do not have that skill. That is where self awareness keeps visualization from becoming a day dream.
The Plan: 1. Having a dream 2. Building the plan 3. Executing every step of the plan The Real Life of Mine: 1. Having a dream 2. Building the plan 3. Dealing with the an unending Ni-Ti loop problem 4. The plan never gets executed
I would like to add that visualization via our major senses doesn't means you have to be capable of visualise everything vividly literally, you could experience just how your muscle tense change, or hear voices.
I think visualization is just a sort of emotional boost or starting point. And this helps to program the subconscious and program the emotions towards that the thing. At the end you mentioned Jim Carey's quote of the sandwich. Yes, you have to work for it. You asked a question earlier on whether it is escapism or entertainment. I think that depends on what the person does with the thought. If a person imagines and gets this exalted feeling and a momentary boost to their self-esteem, but then does nothing to achieve the imagined thing, then they are faking reality and trying to self-induce a self-esteem they did not earn. Whereas if the visualization is used as a self-starting mechanism to get the person to work at all, then they are actually using their mind. I do not think visualization is a primary here. The think that every human needs to do to get to the step of something or to achieve some value, they must think, they must reason. That is the standard for judging all else. If a disciplined approach gets you there, do that. If visualization helps with an emotional boost, do that. But you have to plan it and go step by step to gain and keep the things you need to make it to the final goal.
Sharing this: Easy to spot a yellow car when you are always thinking of a yellow car. Easy to spot opportunity when you are always thinking of opportunity. Easy to spot reasons to be mad when you are always thinking of being mad. You become what you constantly think about. Watch yourself. When people become aware of something--a problem, a trend or an opportunity to excel--they tend to see more of that thing. I call this the yellow car phenomenon. ... You just focused your mind on yellow cars, and like a magnet, you see more of them
I have a very clear procedure for this:

That’s right! I want a better life but I still accept and love my life as it is right now. We need to be able to enjoy our lives at any stage.

that 5:31 brings me the feeling that I could open all the doors Lana... Even if, I am constrained by all company hours. I mean, You give love... a good name Lana, whereas for me, I was just getting by auditing.
I just want to say I love your videos. And your podcast is soooo amazing ❤️
For sure visualization works ... unfortunately so many people are not aware of this magic formula .... good reminder to all viewers out there 👍 😃
I got so much of a motivation from your videos that I decided what I wanted to be I want to be a trainer a coach life coach have my own channel podcast and do it in my native language. I visualize it so many times in a day and i started to notice that life is dragging me that way since then . so I try to think about it
This video made me so inspired and exited to try :) thanks 🙏🏻
Great video Lana you are one of the people who inspired me to start my youtube channel recently. Keep up the good work from Declan in Ireland.
Sooo inspiring. Thank you. ♡
To achieve it, you have to believe it ☺
You are an amazing person 💕 💖
Mmm this is just so powerful, I have done the same for the past few years - it is definitely not coincidental, or magical - but a really powerful way of working towards goals and making things happen ♥️🙏 Love your videos! xx

Great to hear!!
A very new subscriber of your channel . You have become my favourite ❤️
i loved this i definitely needed to watch.
Interesting how visualisation is also a memorisation technique, seems like it's a tool that gives us insight in past, present and future.
Thank you so much for sharing this video! sending you lots of love and light your way :)
this was helpful,Lana. 😊
*Visualization is always good.*
It´s like our dreams are tangible and imaginable.
That is so cool! I had not heard that bit it is my favorite place to visualize as I feel i am literally between worlds/realities/locations ✨✨☀️
Thankyou
Dream your yourself into a new reality. I really like that. Certainly something to ponder over. Thank you.
Visualization is a good companion to self awareness. When I played basketball I would use visualization to visualize making free throws. But you can’t visualize being the QB in the super bowl or a singer on American idol if you do not have that skill. That is where self awareness keeps visualization from becoming a day dream.
The Plan:
1. Having a dream
2. Building the plan
3. Executing every step of the plan
The Real Life of Mine:
1. Having a dream
2. Building the plan
3. Dealing with the an unending Ni-Ti loop problem
Visualization is a way to find the motivation you replaced with discipline. It's a reminder.
Thank you Lana this video really motivates me a lot...
you painted quite the picture there with the dream job, very descriptive. I think i saw you well and everything in that in which you described. XD
Wow!! You’re so pretty!
This was really interesting thank you 😊
You really got a nice singing-voice. Could we probably expect more like that?
Sharing this:
Easy to spot a yellow car when you are always thinking of a yellow car. Easy to spot opportunity when you are always thinking
of opportunity. Easy to spot reasons to be mad when you are always thinking of being mad. You become what you constantly think about. Watch yourself.
When people become aware of something--a problem, a trend or an opportunity to excel--they tend to see more of that thing. I call this the yellow car phenomenon. ... You just focused your mind on yellow cars, and like a magnet, you see more of them
Thank you as always
