I still cry sometimes, when I watch his interviews, movies, series or listen to his song. It may sound dumb, but this guy affected my life, even though he never knew about my existence.

Trying to salvage my hopes from the trailer by watching this...
2 things that seem to come out from these videos about Idris Alba's character. One he seems to be human. I know your probably going to say he hasn't put the make up on. But their have been more videos which all show him as human. So I believe he will be human in the film. Secondly the only time we see Idris Alba is on the Enterprise not an alien world or another ship. So could he be a crew member on the enterprise who turns bad.

Well well, Simon, I guess as long as the film isn't Star Trek-y, everything'll be all right to you, pal. Why, mate, just why.
They should redo the bridge sets to retro 50-ish like Planet of Vampires . Get rid of that over lit set and make it sort of like Pikes bridge in the Cage . New uniforms like the 50's. And remember how the did they lighting and camera angles in the first 5 episodes of STTOS ? Pegg needs a good camera guy . I really hope this film goes into another direction , Hey now , they only met the Klingons in the last movie ,, so I hope the film has them in it and some battle scenes like the Wrath of Khan with the Enterprise and the Klingons .This film is set for July 2016

DS9 was the pinnacle of trek, it had everything a good Sci Fi series needed good Characters great Villains interpersonal Conflict and most importantly a War Arc.

But for me, the definition of Star Trek involves: Exploring the universe, Exploring the human condition, Loads of cutting edge science, Great acting and characters for which ST:TNG had more than any other series. DS9 had an identity crisis twice.. Going from almost a spiritual sci-fi, to 'normal sci-fi' to partially selling it's soul with continues battles.
+John Michael Stock You have to have the 1960 series STAR TREK to begin it all and they explored strange new worlds...and did boldly go where no one has gone before. Live long and prosper!

That chair is not going to smell like Chris Pines's butt if it is a replica... unless he is going to take the time to sit in the replica chair just so it smells like his butt. I don't know. I'd think, now that they promised butt smell, they kind of have to do it legally, or else the winner could sue them for the lack of Chris Pines's taint.

These outtakes are far better than the movie itself...I love these people very much. I'd rather see them joking than 'Beyond', which was awfully ruined by writers and directors.
