I still don't believe you fly this with 0802 motors! Btw, the DJI o3 antenna is linear, you can remove it and attach 2 wires. Similar to the frsky or crossfire wire with the ufl. You cut that to correct length and you save lots of weight. I took old frsky antenna and cut them for 5.8ghz

Lol yes I have had a few yaw spinouts, not the ideal motors for aerobatics.
Concerning the stock antennas, they are lhcp and rhcp enclosed in a single housing, hence not linear. While they could be replaced by a couple dipoles, I still prefer stock because I want to ensure my range and interference resistance aren't crippled.
I heard somemone failed-safe or lost visual and crashed his sub100g with 2 dipoles. Fortunately the quad was found and unfortunately it is out of order for the rest of his trip.

@@flyingpudding I ask Hugo from trueRC and he did confirm again that those are linear antenna. I fly "indoor" with dipole antenna. In your case it would require good testing before flying like you do. At the end of the day you have the 100g limit that push you to save weight. The antenna could be easy one. Also have better antenna on the goggle could help for linear antenna on the quad. Keep trimming those grams, I will be watching you videos!
