Well done for even hitting the target Vince, great shooting in the conditions. For me 12 flb rifles are great fun and capable at around 45M, any further is just a waste of time for me. If you’re a hunter, my opinion is that groups have no purpose in practice. Single shot practice and hitting within the kill zone every shot is what counts. My testing so far with different guns and many different pellets has proven to me that this is far more difficult than people think. At the moment there is a bit of a shoot at distance culture going on, as if you have to prove something. I know for a fact from testing that these shooters taking hunting shots at range are missing kill zones more than hitting them. Nobody is going to show us the scope cam playback of hitting a rabbit in the neck at range. If they conducted proper testing at range with their set up they would soon realise why they are missing kill zones. It’s a case of the one eyed man ruling the blind.
Great video Vincent. All the best mate.

Just a quick mention it’s amazing the differences barrels can produce.. I’ve got a brk ghost .177 it shoots and only likes Zan slugs13g at 45 yds sub 12 clover leaf groups all day long in calm conditions… excellent vid by the way.

Really interesting experiment. As far as I can tell all Turkish gun barrels are choked. Have seen a sub-12 FX Impact and Panthera shoot consistently at 100 yards but, of course, they’re pricey. Well done again. Regard, Baz.

Valiant effort Vin. Shooting in the wind must be extremely challenging at 100m and with a sub 12 fpe. Today I had a heck of time staying on target at 50y with 30 and 45 fpe rifles with a mild variable left to right that would change without warning to a right to left🤦🏻‍♂️ It was a lucky day for the ground squirrels ☹️

Well it was worth a look weren't it..55m is about the limit I shoot targets and that's mostly for giggles, I put the target on a metal skillet so I can hear the impact, and yep I have to wait to hear it

Hi Vince! Thanks for doing the test. I did already expected that flat surface slugs without a rim won't even fly 100 meters with 12ft-lb. The resistance in the barrel is to much. I tried slugs with my 16ft-lb HW97 and they shot pretty wel on 25 meters but i had to push hard to get them into the breech. I also think that the breech seal is not optimal for slug use. Thanks buddy 👍

The impression I'm getting is yes it's possible to hit the lollipop at 100m but I'd need to edit out the 50+ misses which happened before. If someone could do a one take demonstration of setting up and hitting it with one shot that would be impressive.

Watched a review on the Reximex Myth a few days ago, which is like a clone of the Kral NP02, now I can't say if these two Turkish guns share the same barrels from the same factory but I did read in the comments that the barrel is heavily choked on the Myth, one guy commented his .177 was choked down to 3.85 mil? Even the reviewer said the Myth was heavily choked.

I just got an np02 on the strength of your video, I also have a hw 95k and Hw97k. I have just sent away for a seal kit for the np02 as I hear broken seals on the fill probe and around the gauge is an issue . Have you had any issues with the np02 yet ? Thanks vin 🙏

Vin I'm just 3:15 minutes in to this video and just have to ask what your opinion on running 'JSB, KnockOut, 1,645g, .22 Cal, Slugs' through your HW97K? My HW97K doesn't appear to like them that much and it loves 'RWS, Superdome, 0,94g, .22 Cal Field Line'
What's your opinion on using heavy slugs in a HW97K? Might be a interesting topic for your next Video.

Yeah vin try just a normal diablo though they will loose stability in high winds at lower powers my jsb knockouts work well in my 95k .177 however u can only fire 6 slugs to about a dozen pellets as each slug takes the leading in offbthe barrel therefore accuracy loss so 12 to 20 pellets then x6 slugs good try though cheers vin 👍👍

hmmm yes 100 m shots even in no wind is a pretty tall order for a sub 12 gun your using it more like a mortar 🤣🤣🤣 but definitely a bit of fun mate . red wolf shoots slugs 10 gr zans but they are not to accurate think there is to much drag down the barrel for a sub 12 gun with more surface area touching the rifling so it don’t get enough speed up before it leaves the barrel
