Yeah I agree! I didn’t include it because I don’t use it as much anymore and didn’t wanna promote a plugin I don’t use, but I agree the 1176 collection is a must have 🙏🏼
@RicardoTolbert well the distressor is amazing. I'm slowly using the 1176 less and less but I still love the rev A. I also have a hardware la3a for tracking tho so it is pretty amazing.
The Cambridge is a copy of the Sony Oxford console EQ and the subsequent Oxford plugin range that was available for ProTools and TC Powercore, then later on native. The plugins were spun off from Sony and are now sold as Sonnox. Take a look at the Oxford EQ and you'll see the immediate similarity. The Oxford EQ was arguably one of the first really good digital desk EQs.
Both great can’t go wrong with either one. Manley is tube, 2500 is VCA. In my opinion the 2500 is more flexible but if you’re looking for more of a sound or big tone difference I’d go with the Manley.
@RicardoTolbert thanks! They have the 10 bundle for $349 and I got a $25 discount, but didn't want to get 2 compressors If I didn't need.. kinda leaning to the API but they are both good 👍🏼 as hearing from the demos!I already got the UAD Essentials bundle for only $49! ..API Vision, 2500, 1176 collection , Mini Moog, Ravel, Manley Passive EQ , Avalon VT-737, Ravel, Hitsville Reverb and D Chorus or just the Manley Var Mu maybe..idk If I wanted to get another Mix Bus Compressor if I didn't need.. I'm making Hiphop and dabbling in EDM..

@@RicardoTolbertThank you Ricardo. I was just about to go check out your "Distressor" video as mentioned here and just saw your comment! I have been stoked for this plug-in for ages as I have used the "real thing" for drum recording in the past, but haven't tried the UA software version yet. I'm literally going to check your video right now. Again thank you for the upload and keep it up please. Big blessings from Athens, Greece.

Amazing selection of plugins. Personally I would only swap the la3a for the 1176 collection but besides that I fully agree
