For my 11th birthday - I got a CD Walkman and the Whispering Jack CD. I cannot say how many nights I went to sleep listening to Touch Of Paradise. Still love him just as much 33 years later!

Loved him when I saw him in the 60/ 70 s and I was a teenager , and going to hear him and dancing to his music , now in my 70 s still is the THE VOICE , Even the range that he sing is the same , , just his voice , nothing added no substitute for a Voice , love John .thanks for loving his voice in 2021 still singing in Australia with Olivia Newton John , regard from Melbourne Australia , his very first hit was sadie the cleaning lady , a very young mad my age lol 😂

John's career has had ups and downs. He was thrown a lifeline by Little River Band when they booted Glenn Shorrock out. Another time he was no where when he released HELP. A journalist said that he sounded like he was screaming and yelling. Farnham said he was screaming, trying to get people to listen to his voice. Then he was gone again until Glen Wheatley managed him. Finally it worked properly

I get goebumps everytime He hit the high notes in this song. He cold probebly sing opera and do it fantastic. Stong tenor voice.
