Optical illusion! I looked at the picture and thought, it's beautiful but seems like it will be a complicated pattern... I was so surprised when I started watching the tutorial to see it's "just" an ordinary granny square and that the colour changes alone create the geometric pattern. Thank you so much for a lovely new way to make squares, I also love the way multiples will create their own patterns within patterns the more you make! Easy to follow tutorial too 👌
I absolutely love all your tutorials, you taught me how to make hats, and that skill allowed me and my group to make hats for the unhomed. Your teachings have touched so many lives in so many ways. Thank-you and may God bless you in many ways.
I really appreciate your easy-to-follow tutorials. I have a question related to crochet - not involving granny squares though. Can you please do a crochet video on using different hook sizes for the SAME piece of crochet sample. For example, begin using a size 5 mm hook, then after 5 cm change to a size 6mm hook, then in the SAME PIECE over the SAME NUMBER of stitches - change to the next size up 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, etc. size crochet hooks every 5 cm. I want to make an Empire waist simple top, but in a stitch that would be very difficult to increase (or decrease) the number of stitches used. The stitch would not allow it. If I want to make the "skirt" (below the bustline) wider than the bust size, can I just increase the hook size gradually as I go downward from the bust line? This would avoid creating a "gathered" look at the bustline and instead create a more "A-line" look? Your help would be most appreciated.
@@HappyBerryCrochet Thank you so much for even being interested in helping me with this. This is for all of us "pear shaped women" who get tired of having to adjust patterns so they are "a-lined". Every pattern in based on a womans bust size then it is assumed their hips are the same size or smaller. Us pear shaped women are tired of having to work out a bunch of math or pattern stich challenges to adjust a pattern we like. To me, these needle size changes is a good simple solution.
I love your tutorials! I’m a newbie but your videos are so easy to follow!!! Question though.. how would you suggest attaching the squares together? Still alternating colors?
Love love the colors 💙💕💙 Beautiful work❤ Leticia PS, could you do a tutorial joining these gorgeous squares! IwNt to make sure I have the colors line up😉
Hello! My daughter has been watching your videos for years and wanted to send you a letter, via snail mail. Is there somewhere I can contact you to send it? Thank you very much! Rachel
Okay but here's what's confusing me I am following you stitch by stitch I'm not ending up with four corners based on your video I'm ending up with five listen to your video in the beginning you're telling everyone to add that final corner that's the fifth corner in your wording
A square will have 4 corners.. there's no adding a final corner before you join the round, you just need to change the yarn colour back before you join

I'll see what I can do, that would make an interesting topic!

You are confusing a 5th corner for the stand alone corner color change. I think.❤
Thank you
