The LR4 I drove the LR experience automatically locked the center, choose low range, and locked the rear differential based off what terrain you choose and how you were driving.
Tire for lr4 a challenge. Im surprised didnt use bfg ko2 ats. I can see lr frowning for road light use, but, serious off road..doesn't make sene to me.
screwyou@yahoo.com dep nar both are complete junk I've owned them both. I'll take a Land Rover any day they are comfortable, classy and very off road capable.
Cycle 09 as long as range rover can make it to the trail head. I sold mine at heavy loss at 5000 miles. Love the way it looked and rode. just shitty reliability
screwyou@yahoo.com dep nar yeah I've heard about reliability issues with RR also can I ask some details about what you owned and what problems you had?
CA Guns it's his own thoughts and opinions and hearing him talk gives knowledge and entertainment and he has to explain what he goes though otherwise the video will be boring...
I loved the idea of you taking a discovery 4 up this track, however stacking rocks and moving boulders is cheating and ruins the fun of the track for qualified vehicles like modified jeeps and defenders and other such vehicles. I'm annoyed this type of cheating happened. I see it happening all too often and feel that the boulders are there to keep vehicles that cannot make it unassisted up the trail that shouldn't be there. I do follow your videos and keep them coming. I just hope you follow better practices when it comes to leaving no trace you were on the trail.
Sorry, but I think that is an absurd suggestion, with all due respect. This was not a competition. How can this be 'cheating when this road is NOT a test track but an actual public road and it is utterly impassible to ANY passenger vehicle without helping things along by building the road. Only highly specialised rock crawlers could drive it without help. And so this drive would not even been contemplated, let alone attempted. Should we not have moved the boulder that completely blocked the path? If that's okay, where does one draw the line? Moving rocks and guiding vehicles is part of 4WDing. It was a drive to see how good the LR4 is. If the rule was to not move rocks to help it along, where is the line to be drawn? No airing down because it's cheating? By your rules, my next test would be, "LR4, let's see if it can make it to the shops. "
Another great video. Some beautiful scenery and awesome off-roading.
Best all round car ever. Sure, they will break down but no other car can full fill ALL jobs. Luxury sedan, family wagon, work truck or jus SUV.
craig davidson Land Cruiser?

This was great thank you for the post!!!
amazing, but i think you could gotten a few cm's extra clearance with the super extended mode :)
+Nudge xyz We did. Its in the story.
+4xOverland i saw it later, you only referenced it in the last video :), great videos!
Mind boggling this kind of off-roading...
I like the Jeep shirt ;-)
awesome show! I may actually consider a LR4 now!
For that kind of driving, I wouldn't recommend an LR4! Get something with solid axles.
Please which engine is better Diesel or petrol engine.
thanks for the show !!!!! very useful !
Great Job Sir. Thank you
What tire and rim where you using?

Amazing adventure
Excellent!
What is the extra tyre on the defender 110 for?
Now I see why rock sliders are needed! It would have made it much easier.
have you tried a Hummer H1 or a Wrangler Rubicon?

A jack could have shifted that rock
they can take a punch
Highly risky use of the winch. No damper and people beside the rope. Asking for trouble there.
James Hamilton Huh? This is Africa
Really odd editing around 8:45
And if top gear can make it through South America with sports cars this lr4 can make it.
Wow!
Bugger that, no way I would put my 4X4 through that.
I feel sorry for de poor LR4😓😢. Defender is more robust with proper tyres
Hi All,
Could anyone tell me what Tyler pressure did he had in psi? I don’t understand how much is 3 bars.
Thanks in advance
43psi.. still don't understand to this day why he has pumped up to over 40psi.. 20psi would have been better open even with lower profile tyres..
Your driving a Land Rover but have a Jeep shirt on wtf
Lads that ain't a road !!
Less chit-chat and more action please :)
CA Guns it's his own thoughts and opinions and hearing him talk gives knowledge and entertainment and he has to explain what he goes though otherwise the video will be boring...

Even Jeep could NOT complete this test ...Why?Because there is No Auto-shop close by😎
Bwahaha.. Cheating by packing rocks on a donkey track? Missing the point
