even though training isnt a bad thing, i think it should be a soverign right to carry so long as youre capable of supporting yourself, mental health or not, drugs or not, training or not. it should be every persons right to carry so long as theyre not literally retarded or something.
making people get gun training is a good thing alot of people are gonna buy a gun for the first time have no clue how to use it and accidently kill them why do you want drug addicts to own guns what if they use the gun to steal to buy more drugs so your against mental health evaluations? your literally saying you want them to own guns regardless of what mental health problem they have thats wrong the republicans wanna allow convicted felons to own guns thats so stupid and they wanna get rid of the atf they are taking the constitution way too far we need reasonable restrictions
Most people are for training. When I took the permit classes (regular and enhanced) the instrutors told us that you will have to train on your own as the class is not training. What we are against is mandatory training. We don't need a year long process and extra steps.
@METALFACEDOOM187 Usually, you look up a class that's at a firearm range in Arkansas. Most will have combined class, so it covers the regular and enhanced versions. They'll instruct you on laws of the state, basic firearm safety, and how to shoot. I know they did have a section where they brought up a few examples of situations and brought up legal issues in how an individual acts. They do stress you to be aware of your surroundings and to be sure when you have to draw. After that, you have to get at least 35/50 when you go to the shooting range. The only reason I have an enhanced is to carry in certain places. You can carry without a license, but an enhanced allows you to carry in government buildings, college campuses (specific areas are still restricted), the Capitol, and there's a few others as well. Otherwise, I wouldn't get a license.
Training is good. But that kind of “training” he probably charges a lot for is nothing more than a mind numbing video game. You could do as well at an arcade 😂
Moms moved us down here from south side chicago when I was 16. At the time I hated her, hated Little Rock and hated how different Arkansas was. I’m 27 now with children and I now realize it was the best thing to ever happen to me. People are much more kind and for the most part have common sense here, and man do I love my freedoms as an Arkansan. I feel safer out in public with my babies, knowing sane people around me are packing and defending their own. Even the shady characters know not to try that inner city bullshit with people down here. America Bless God! 🇺🇸
The gentleman above me is a complete chad. I’d just like to throw in that as a permanent resident, we are fully allowed to purchase and carry firearms just like a citizen. I believe we are not allowed to vote in state or federal elections. But thank god I can walk into a bass pro and or academy and buy Wtv firearm I desire. I LOVE AR! 🇺🇸
0:32 it doesn’t matter how dangerous you are, it’s your God given Constitutionally protected right to bare arms! Also, you are always safer with a Gun!
You really believe most regular families/people will be carrying guns? I highly doubt it, or else you would see more people taking a class that last just 4 hours...... The criminals that have yet to be caught that do not carry guns, now will certainly be carrying as soon as this goes down.
just wait for the legions of weak ass bitches smothered in fear to down your comment with atrocious bleeding heart warnings of destruction due to a fucking. tool. (the gun) im just waiting for them to understand that the gun itself isnt the problem, its the person using it that is when they go shoot people en masse for no good reason.
@@TheGreatOne-gw7xhapparently you don't know what that term means. Let me educate you. God given right means that it is a right as a human being that isn't given to you by any government or entity.
Moved around to a lot of states, everyone one of these classes has been a complete waste of my time. All extreme beginner stuff I was way past in my level of training. It would be kind of like being forced to listen to 3rd grade math lessons and talked to like you were a 3rd grader except your 35 years old and can do this stuff instantly, but oh no you can't test out either... gotta sit and listen through some old mans lecture for 1-2 days you were forced to pay for...
I agree with both the OG poster and the guy below him. But if you’re already a gun owner doesn’t that mean you’re expressing said amendment? What’s the problem with training? That’s like saying ima buy a bike to use, never ride said bike, and bust ur shit thinking you remember how to ride one lol.

So you are going to infringe on over half of Americans rights because they are retarded?
I agree 100%

Can you please explain this process in detail on what to do as far as getting both permits regular and enhanced? I live in Little Rock

Finally someone is following the Constitution
Fuck the license just train.
Correct.
what if they dont train florida isnt making gun training mandatory so people are gonna have no clue how to use it
I dont care let people conceal and carry no matter what. Its not the states or feds business
So if i up and decided i wanted to become a gun owner in Arkansas what would be the process. I can't find out much searching the web.

So stop going to dispensaries and go somewhere else
I mean yeah. Why admit to it when you can and always have been able to go to your local apothecary and be taken care of.
What if you’re from out of state? Like Texas what are the laws?
You only need training thats it, It'll be a waste of time and resources to get a permit and for the state to enforce it.
It can also restrict your voters rights because if you're found impaired your vote doesn't count

In that sense you can say yes to that, since the other person might also have gun
Where in the Bible does it say to own a gun?

If you can go hunting with your friends you should be able to defend yourself too.

Yea cuz if they are suicidal and commit suicide who is left to offer assisted suicide rt ?
When you move from Texas so now your here 😂
Train compete repeat
Personally, I feel training should always be taken. Even in law enforcement you have to qualify so why should it not be for public.
Because the second amendment is a RIGHT not a privilege like a driver's license.
Should you have to certify to have an opinion?
