Peloton Maybe surprising to you but I don‘t care about a US only solution, for UK and Germany you aren‘t offering anything yet. Also as nothing is wrong with the bikes, why not offering a kit to replace the screen or maybe the screen mount on old bikes?!

It's nothing new to see corporations treat US customers different from the rest of the world (yes, this is tied to logistics and other factors, however if you're a high end brand selling high end products it should be reflected in your CS as well). These US exclusive offerings can often lead to global customers feeling like second-class citizens.
Eleah Burman No, I’m not angry at all. The US based trade in is apparently not an option. My take here is actually a lot bigger: Does it makes sense to trade in any of the bikes and potentially trash a lot of them? This is a common problem, as new version of products are made available, old versions are threatened as “garbage”. Why not having an upgrade pack, e.g. at least the screen and rotation feature would be worth it and most likely easy (compared to auto-lock). Screen replacement was possible from the earliest to current, why not doing this as well. No need for an entire new bike. Furthermore, I would argue the trade-in should value the age of the bikes traded in. Customer first!

I think I have this covered. Already have a 55" TV in the workout room positioned between the tread and bike, and a soundbar with subwoofer in the room. Incidentally, the rig I have going here is far less expensive than buying the new bike even with the rebate. However, if you are new to Peloton, and are thinking about getting your first bike, I would go with the new one featured here. The upgraded movable screen and sound is worth it. If you already have the "old" equipment like me, go for the TV and soundbar in the room. That's my 2 cents...

M K agreed. I use the Blueheart app as a work around. It sends the info from my Apple Watch to the peloton screen via Bluetooth. I would love an integration with peloton app and Apple Watch or some sort of direct Bluetooth option.
I’m a little annoyed. I am a week from receiving my original bike. I have been waiting 7 weeks. Now they want me to wait another 7 weeks for the +. That’s nearly 4 months waiting and making payments 🤦🏻♂️
Slightly larger screen, better sound, surround mics, Gymkit integration, and access to Peloton's classes and communities. Nobody I know has a Nordictrack and I need that peer pressure to keep me motivated, lol.
Umm, there’s a large group of people that ride the S22i also. And the incline more immersive than people think. On top of that the exercise cars are about $80 a year. Plus, the workouts have more substance on the other side. Oh and the S22i can have a warranty through 2027 for less than this bike will cost you with 1 year!
Well, was on hold for 3 hours today before being disconnected about asking some questions regarding the new bike vs the one I ordered and is scheduled to be delivered next week. The new bike looks pretty awesome and if I were new to the Peloton family I’d buy it for sure. But for those that have had the original bike... will you be giving us updates to better our experience? Mainly for me, I’d like some way to directly connect my Apple Watch to the bike. I read GymKit is a hardware update, but what about allowing users to use the peloton app and connect via Bluetooth that way? Currently I use a third party app to do this, but would love a way to directly connect my Apple Watch without the third party option. Also, for the auto follow option... does it change the resistance to the base recommendation only? If so, then a lot of people will still have to reach down and change it physically. Or, does it increase if your cadence is on the higher side of the recommended range? Does it go up and down based on your cadence? I can see this being useful on a tabata ride depending how it actually works. Overall if I was a new user I’d buy it. If you could answer my questions about the auto follow and the Apple Watch integration then depending on the answer I may update the bike. The turning screen is great, but I have access to a tv with an AppleTV. I can use the peloton app on that or mirror my phone to it. Looking forward to your response. Cheers!

In on-demand classes, Members can select Auto-Follow to have their Peloton Bike+ automatically adjust resistance based on instructor cues throughout the class. Will the apple watch sync be fixed on the existing bike? Using the BlueHeart app never works right... Seems strange you can't bluetooth and connect your apple watch to existing Peloton bike.
@@OnePeloton I saw that response to another person's comment, but there is no reason that existing Peloton bike users should not be able to link their Apple Watch so that the heart rate shows up. If I can link my Bose Bluetooth headset, I should be able to link my Apple Watch because I can link my Bose to my Apple Watch just fine. Been trying to upgrade my bike, well the purchase that I am one month into the 2+month wait list, only be told in 2-3 weeks I will be updated on how much longer I will have to wait for the upgrade. Actually I can't even get in to submit the request. Site has been down or crashed for the last 3 hours. Not really impressed with that customer service and response time. Its a LOT of money to be paying and having nothing in hand for months.

I purchased the bike in early April and had to wait almost 2.5 months for delivery and have only had the bike for less than 3 months. I feel duped, there is a reason the bike took that long to come and it was because they most likely scaled down the inventory for the new bike but kept it a secret. I should be given a free trade in or my 350 back, totally bad business practice here.
My bike was delivered 54 days ago. I paid $2245, so a rebate of $700 towards the bike plus is not an option for me. I called customer service and explained this to them and they indicated that since my delivery date was outside the 30 day window I was not eligible for the $350 refund either. I definitely feel like I have been ripped off and I am very disappointed that Peloton would treat their existing clients in this manner. Can you explain your rationale for this action.

Suggestion - Get together with a company like Oculus to create a VR version. Add some road feel feedback and the ability to lean into simulated turns like the Bowflex. That is the only way I would spend that much money on an exercise machine. Otherwise, I can pedal my cheap exercise machine in front of my 55' TV playing mountain bike races and it's just as good.
Exactly what I was just thinking. RUclips has a plethora of free videos at our disposal when it comes to exercise videos. I'm only here because my health coverage offered a discount. Turns out the discount was only 100$ off so I wasted my time looking into it. I can find a much cheaper and just as durable exercise machine if I really wanted one and can just use my smart TV for all the viewing content. Some people underestimate how far they've come with smart TV's but now with pairing options, even if your TV doesn't have the app, if your phone can get it - then just pair it. There's a ton of free apps on the app/play stores that don't require a subscription fee for exercising.

I wish this was available when I bought my exercise bike lol. I love the new feature. I was looking into Peloton among other alternatives. I ultimately decided against Peleton due to the screen not rotating. I found a bike that had that feature. And I absolutely love it.
Josh Camson I went with MYX Fitness. It’s a little different but overall, I am very satisfied with it. My favorite feature is the swiveling screen, which is why I bought it. It makes it easy to view floor workouts or transition from the bike to the floor. I had been using a Peloton for a few months because my roommate had one, and loved it.

Too bad they didn’t add things like integration with Garmin. Too bad they didn’t add handlebars that can be adjusted fore and aft for taller or shorter riders. I’m wondering if the resistance will actually be accurate between bikes or up to 10% +/- like it is now. All in all nothing that really screams out that I need to upgrade to this.

What has shied me away from purchasing anything Peloton are the many customer service issues. Broken pedals, no call backs, delivery issues and so on. If I pay over $2000 for a bike or tread, customer service should be seamless, simple and to the satisfaction of the customer. I've seen too many issues. I don't care if the number is 10, 10 is too many.
It's a shame that Peloton's commitment to Apple GymKit support seems to be regressing now. It went from being an incredible, seamless experience to being a mess as of yesterday. Peloton, please comment on this, I'm extremely disappointed.

Yet they offer power zone classes and those are amazingly popular so there is a huge market out there for accurate power on the bike. Instead, they are going the opposite direction.
@@robertcowling4313 They could handle it though if they wanted. There are other bikes without true power that have figured out the calibration issue by measuring at different locations on the bike. It's really a matter of will and they certainly don't want to innovate anything at this point (a rotating screen? yawn). They could have added that extra few hundred in the way of a power crank arm, power pedal, or some other method that could give true power. It's a fun bike for sure and I've calibrated mine using the kludgey plastic disk system. It just amazes me that something like replication is not something these engineers would think about when replicating things for engineers is usually a paramount concern for them. Hopefully their digital resistance system fixes that but I'm not going to hold my breath.

no GymKit is a hardware feature that will not be added to the current bike :(
Wonder if that functionality really requires NFC or if that's an excuse not to port the features using bluetooth on gen1 bikes.

@@OnePeloton I saw that response to another person's comment, but there is no reason that existing Peloton bike users should not be able to link their Apple Watch so that the heart rate shows up. If I can link my Bose Bluetooth headset, I should be able to link my Apple Watch because I can link my Bose to my Apple Watch just fine. As a bike owner, and current shareholder of PTON, this needs to get rectified.
Does the screen swivel left and right? All of the photos and videos have only showed to the right.
Been trying to upgrade my bike, well the purchase that I am one month into the 2+month wait list, only be told in 2-3 weeks I will be updated on how much longer I will have to wait for the upgrade. Actually I can't even get in to submit the request. Site has been down or crashed for the last 3 hours.
Not really impressed with that customer service and response time. Its a LOT of money to be paying and having nothing in hand for months.

I purchased the bike in early April and had to wait almost 2.5 months for delivery and have only had the bike for less than 3 months. I feel duped, there is a reason the bike took that long to come and it was because they most likely scaled down the inventory for the new bike but kept it a secret. I should be given a free trade in or my 350 back, totally bad business practice here.
I spoke to Peloton for an hour and they don't care. (I am 2 weeks past the 30 day return.) Yup - we got duped.
My bike was delivered 54 days ago. I paid $2245, so a rebate of $700 towards the bike plus is not an option for me. I called customer service and explained this to them and they indicated that since my delivery date was outside the 30 day window I was not eligible for the $350 refund either. I definitely feel like I have been ripped off and I am very disappointed that Peloton would treat their existing clients in this manner. Can you explain your rationale for this action.

Suggestion - Get together with a company like Oculus to create a VR version. Add some road feel feedback and the ability to lean into simulated turns like the Bowflex. That is the only way I would spend that much money on an exercise machine. Otherwise, I can pedal my cheap exercise machine in front of my 55' TV playing mountain bike races and it's just as good.
Exactly what I was just thinking. RUclips has a plethora of free videos at our disposal when it comes to exercise videos. I'm only here because my health coverage offered a discount. Turns out the discount was only 100$ off so I wasted my time looking into it. I can find a much cheaper and just as durable exercise machine if I really wanted one and can just use my smart TV for all the viewing content. Some people underestimate how far they've come with smart TV's but now with pairing options, even if your TV doesn't have the app, if your phone can get it - then just pair it. There's a ton of free apps on the app/play stores that don't require a subscription fee for exercising.

I wish this was available when I bought my exercise bike lol. I love the new feature. I was looking into Peloton among other alternatives. I ultimately decided against Peleton due to the screen not rotating. I found a bike that had that feature. And I absolutely love it.

Josh Camson I went with MYX Fitness. It’s a little different but overall, I am very satisfied with it. My favorite feature is the swiveling screen, which is why I bought it. It makes it easy to view floor workouts or transition from the bike to the floor. I had been using a Peloton for a few months because my roommate had one, and loved it.

What has shied me away from purchasing anything Peloton are the many customer service issues. Broken pedals, no call backs, delivery issues and so on. If I pay over $2000 for a bike or tread, customer service should be seamless, simple and to the satisfaction of the customer. I've seen too many issues. Was really expecting a power meter for increased accuracy
Yet they offer power zone classes and those are amazingly popular so there is a huge market out there for accurate power on the bike. Instead, they are going the opposite direction.
@@robertcowling4313 They could handle it though if they wanted. There are other bikes without true power that have figured out the calibration issue by measuring at different locations on the bike. It's really a matter of will and they certainly don't want to innovate anything at this point (a rotating screen? yawn). They could have added that extra few hundred in the way of a power crank arm, power pedal, or some other method that could give true power. It's a fun bike for sure and I've calibrated mine using the kludgey plastic disk system. It just amazes me that something like replication is not something these engineers would think about when replicating things for engineers is usually a paramount concern for them. Hopefully their digital resistance system fixes that but I'm not going to hold my breath.
