This is one of the most genuinely insane, impressive, and technical speedruns I've seen for a game I was curious what the scene was like for this game and came across this and I'm genuinely shocked at how this category isn't much more popular with how crazy this all is super impressive stuff to you.

2:12:40 Fun fact, Nintendo has a habit of doing this. In OOT, you only have to beat the shadow and spirit temples to get to ganons castle, cuz those are the only two medallions that the game keeps track of. And for the same reason: the game assumes you can't get to those temples without first beating the other 3.

Why get 2 howl statues when you could get 1? You get the 1 outside of Izza's (because you need it for Final Blow) and you get the other to cancel map glitch. Why not just go all the way through with the 1 for map glitch?
the snowpeak howling stone corresponds to kak graveyard, which has a requirement of either completing goron mines or the first king bulblin fight to put kakariko in a state to spawn the gold wolf. so in a normal any% run you can't access the gold wolf in kak graveyard
@@14MrAlberto I see, that's what I thought. Different question: I am trying to get into speed running TP myself - I'm new to speed running the game in general. I have made it to the point to where boss key skip in lake bed is "necessary". I can land on the stairs, I can clip into them, I can spin attack and "line" the pouch up (not 100% certain as to what I'm lining it up to, but I follow your speed run and gymnast86's to try to get about the right spacing), anyway, I do the backflips, and hold right or up-right (when I'm feeling extra risky) and can get pretty consistently crushed by the stairs and have actually gotten the clip twice. What am I doing wrong? I've watched several tutorials, only one of which mentions this, and he said "you're doing something wrong". Any advice or link to similar threads? Thank you very much!
@@shmackled My answer depends. are you doing the same lakebed route as me where the stairs are facing the same way as in my run? because the bk skip setup depends on where the stairs are facing.
@@14MrAlberto Yes, they are the same direction, also worth mentioning that I watched another tutorial - I was: landing on the stairs, clipping into them, back flipping, spin attack, aligning the right pouch edge to the left edge of the staircase and releasing "b", backflipping 3 times, then analog stick right and dying to the stairs. The tutorial said to equip the iron boots after the 3 backflips, then "back hopping" and analog stick right, so I am testing that out now as I type this. EDIT: I can get it consistently now. It was because I was missing the last back hop and because I would hold the analog stick for too long - its more of a flick than a hold. Thank you so much for you willingness to help!
