Tamara Kennie I’ve been intimidated too! I’ve had mine for a few months now and haven’t done anything but watch videos. My kids bday is next week so hopefully I work up he courage to diy some decorations!
Hi Tam, it's so crazy how I ended up on your site. I am a treat maker and one day wanted to personalize bags and there you were showing us how to do it. I have decided to ask for the Cricut Maker for my birthday Dec 3rd 2018. So my husband is gonna buy it for me. He is currently deployed to Germany so I have lots of time to do new stuff. In the meantime my friends have bought me like every single thing I need for the Cricut maker before getting the machine. So I have a few questions so that on Monday I can get busy. In this video and in other videos you mentioned your "design space". Where is that? How do I get to it?
Oh yay! Happy Early Birthday and thank you for your husbands service to the country. Design Space is the design software that comes with the Cricut. Once you set up your Cricut it will download it for you.
Thank you so much. It depends on where you buy your vinyl I buy off the roll at a local shop, they sell by the yard which are about 21 inches x 36 inches for $7.50. That would be more than enough for 50 napkins. On a 12 x 12 inch sheet you can get about 12-16 done if you keep them at about 3 inches each.
It depends on the vinyl you use but most of them don’t get hard especially if you use regular HTV. It kinda melts into the napkin. Below is the link for the updated video and you can see the difference CUSTOM DOLLAR TREE NAPKINS | @TamsSweetLife ruclips.net/video/tIiyu_tGor8/видео.html
In your video you mentioned that you got the HTV foil at a local vinyl store. Do you know where it can be purchased if there isn’t such a store near my home? All I can find is foil that needs adhesive applied to it.
A PNG file is an image file stored in the Portable Network Graphic (PNG) format. It has a transparent background so when you upload it to the design software that you are using you don't have to remove anything. It's basically like a "ready to use" file whereas if you upload a jpeg file you will have to remove the background if you only want the writing or image.
Nice and your crumbled napkin helped me decide. Thanks
I never would have thought to do napkins. Came out awesome

Really good video. wondering if you were to make them for someone else, how would you package them?
Thank you so very much! You just made me some money!

You are a beast with the tutorials. Thank you. Is the vinyl carrier sheet sticky on the back?
Miss Pam, you know how to make a sista smile. Thanks! Yes, it''s sticky only on the side that holds the vinyl the other side is smooth and non sticky
Can you use a regular heat press?
Yes!! Good job
Hi. Again beautiful job. I’m going to take my cricut out the box now. I guess I have been a little intimidated. Is photoshop very expensive?
Tamara Kennie I’ve been intimidated too! I’ve had mine for a few months now and haven’t done anything but watch videos. My kids bday is next week so hopefully I work up he courage to diy some decorations!

Hi Tam!! I LOVE your video! Thank you so much for sharing to help others. How much vinyl do you think is needed for 50 napkins like the one you did?

I always love watching your video and Love your Facebook group. What temperature do I put the easy press on
Wouldnt the tissue be hard because of the vinyl?

May I ask how much would you charge per napkin? I’ve started personalizing some but stuck on pricing.
Can I use regular heat transfer vinyl
Yes you can
In your video you mentioned that you got the HTV foil at a local vinyl store. Do you know where it can be purchased if there isn’t such a store near my home? All I can find is foil that needs adhesive applied to it.
You can get foil HTV from almost anywhere that sells vinyl. Michael’s, Amazon, JoAnn’s. Mine is from Mclogan’s in downtown Los Angeles.
Love it ....I’m in Inglewood as well...what vinyl store do you go to ?
I go to ProCube and McLogan's in Downtown on Main St.
Yes, I go to Mclogans too. I love that place
What kind of printer do you use? For print and cut
excitementTee - I use the HP Envy because it’s the most cost effective and still quality. I love it.
Love it
Is photo shops an app
If I have a cricut mini press can I use that instead?
Can I ask how much this costs you in materials?
How did you transfer that file to cricut
What type of heat press do you have??
do you have to repeat the procedure to do on each napkin?
How much do you charge customers for these?
What is the name of the small press you used?
How much would you charge for something like this?
What is P& G? Thanks

Omg I’m so sorry- I misunderstood you Thank you! You do fantastic work!
Has anyone tried this using a compact iron?
Unable to fine photoshp
Can you use permanent vinyl
Like Oracle 651? It's possible, I've actually never tried it. I think it may rip up the napkin but I can test it out.
Okay I was just curious
Hi. I use HTV vinyl and used my heat press... But when I pulled it off my napkin is sticking to the plastic that the letters are on. Any suggestions?
