- Here are just over 40 classic SMB3 courses in Super Mario Maker 2, made mostly so I could play them for in multiplayer, but they’re also fun to edit! If there are any SMB3 courses you love that I missed, let me know in the comments and I might make more!
I made the Super World pretty faithfully too, in that if you didn't have to do a stage in the original you don't have to in this one.

Dude this is phenomenal and so is your eye for detail! I haven’t played through SMB3 since like 2008 but I still recognised every course almost immediately!
I don’t remember what I did to make it work, but I remade 7-7 (the Muncher level) in the original Super Mario Maker WAY back when. I think Mario Maker’s widescreen makes the course a little less threatening since you can see a lot further ahead, but it’s still a fun one nonetheless. I think your solutions to the things that Mario Maker can’t pull off are quite creative, and I especially love that the games’ secret Coin Fortress makes an appearance too!
Everything done here is fantastic, you clearly show passion with Super Mario Bros. 3 and I respect that so much!
The funny thing is that this was uploaded three weeks after Mario died

nice work! as with any well-done super world, this took a lot of effort and time. and your attention to try to keep things authentic had to have made this a rather daunting task. i tip my hat to ya!

I appreciate these levels SO much. Especially the SMW stages from the last batch. I’m sure there are tons and tons of people who would too, if they knew about them. It’s just probably hard for them to find your levels, and your video on them, amongst all the other Super Mario Maker content. Even when they search for it. I often found it difficult to search the internet to find specific types of levels.

It's fun for multiplayer but not a suggested idea because you can just play mario 3 on the nintendo game loader. Some things I suggest is make a remixed version, it would be like you had your own little touch along with nostalgia from some people and a brand new experience for other and maybe have tid-bits from other game. But I hope you had fun making the levels in the video and maybe my suggestion.
Thank you for the suggestion, I made these for myself so thought I’d share them but I also didn’t know people couldn’t edit them until today 😂 so I might do that, I had intended for the player to do that which is why I kept them pretty plain

Actually you can swim under THAT STAGE because it's not lava.... it's a river of Blood. Notice it doesn't bubble.

I like these kinds of levels
Yeah they do take some level of skill but it's mostly platforming. (Not a several sequence multi-jump with shell jumps off of bob-ombs with < a second of reaction etc) ***Those levels serve their purpose and are nice to play but mix it up a bit internet****
It's nice to run around a level and explore the secrets within them too so playing your levels with the small differences is refreshing

1:59 Couldn't the fortress level have a winning condition of "defeating one Boom Boom"? So it makes the boss battle obrigatory to beat the level, like in SMB3?

@@HatLovingGamer yeah, I didn't think about that, btw I have a creative tip: if you put a bullet bill launcher on a track you can kinda make placeable bullet bills, I never tried it idk if it works or not
