RIP Jack. I just cooked this recipe in your honor and it was absolutely fantastic. I'm gonna miss your videos and your spirit. My sincerest condolences to your family and friends.
You were the best Jack. There's a place in heaven for someone that touched the hearts of many. I try to make at least one of your recipes a week. What you do with pork is amazing!
I’m Sadden deeply because he was such a great man. I thought about suicide and he commented and responded with me with such great love . Because of him I’m alive his positive response helped me through depression. I want to take this time to thank him and let his family know that he was a lovely man. Thank you for everything that you have given us with your videos of cooking . RIP Daddy Jack!!!
Jack, you will always be the main man. I love watching you cook and eat mate. I really enjoyed this recipe and I am doing to do it tomorrow here in the Scottish Highlands. Rest in peace brother
I know you’re gone Jack, and RIP, but I want to say we Knight people in Wales too! Scotland and Ireland too! Another great Daddy Jack’s recipe. Thank you.
It sad that I jaut found his YT last year and found out he passed away a few yrs back. Were all thankful for his Ole school cooking ways. I'm a retired Chef after 21yrs cause if covid BS but his style is rare these days and I like em. You'll be missed my friend
This guy was a cool guy……from Connecticut…close enough to Long Island to be one of the best guys in the world….sweet personality…..a big loss to the world…talented man in his profession….he will live forever in people’s hearts….may his friends and family constantly have dreams of him forever until they meet up again…..
I watched Justin as a kid.I make his jambalaya occasionally. It is always a hit. Loved the way he pronounced Lea And Perrins. Also, the difference between a gourmet and a gourmand, The gourmet only eats certain things. When the gourmand, well, he eats anything.🤣😆😂
I've picked up so many ideas from watching Daddy Jack. One of his mottos "Never throw anything away" I've applied to my cooking, and life in general. I love his dog. I just lost my 9 year old Golden last week. He always hung with me in the kitchen when I cooked and I talked to him. Miss you, Jack. Thanks so much for all that you left us.
Our hero," Daddy" Jack Chaplin, making his delicious home cooking comfort food, & always has good vibes of comfort encamped around about him, we appreciate him, yes!
I've watched this 4 times this time it's just for visiting an old friend again. Jack gives me the confidence to make it on my own now. His talent to cook and teach are the best out there. I still love him and his videos. Doesn't hurt that smothered pork chops is my favorite comfort food dinner!
I'm so heartbroken. Just found out he had passed away back in May. Sure gonna miss his videos. I'm sure though there's a few videos on his channels somewhere that I haven't seen so will look for those. I don't know if there will be any cooking in heaven but if there is I hope they've put you in charge of it all!
This is one I've never tried. Of course Jack makes it look so easy. Whenever I cook I think of Jack and what would Jack do. He offered me many suggestions and was a great person. If we were in England I think Jack should be knighted. Then he'd be Sir Daddy Jack. He's always Sir Daddy Jack to me. I miss him.
This man made my day, i was so glad to find a wonderful down home small town country boy type, (even tho i do t think its small or country there lol) But, i went to a small trade school for culinary arts my junior, and senior year of high school, and eventually finished their course after, i had the most amazing instructor who trained in france and taught me so much, Jack reminds me of her attitude, there are so many ways to skin a cat so to speak, everyone has their own style, but you can tell jack honed, and loved his craft, i looked up to him, and loved his gentle soul, even tho i didnt know him personally, I am disabled, and cant work any longer but still cook for my wife, and I everyday, but people like jack make me miss the restaurant industry. RIP Jack your fans loved you, me especially you taught me so much from videos thank you. Laquisha, i hope thats spelled right, lucy, and Rachael and axel my prayers are with you every night
