Mr. Chaplin is part of sleep routine. I make one of his recipes and eat it. Then I'm ready for bed as I fall asleep listening to Jack cook and tell his stories. 😊
That's music to my ears Adam, that was the reason I wanted to share my videos, giving the middle finger to all the cooking schools that take everyone's big dollars. They churn out so called chefs and set them up for failure. Blessings, jack
One time he replied to me and told me to come to Connecticut. Such a sweet man. Rest In Peace big man. You are an angel. I will still visit just because he told me to. And I want to go to his restaurant.
Daddy Jack is a master of his art. I love how he uses everything and wastes nothing, I mean onion skins in a stock, when you know you just know! I wish you good health and a long life my friend and keep the video’s coming, I’ve used a LOT of your recipes and techniques and they’ve never failed me. Love from Scotland my friend.
Jack, I have been sitting in Yale going through treatment for last few months and I have really enjoyed watching your videos and allowed me to pass the time. Look forward to making a trip up to your place in the near future as my treatment is now complete!
Hi BJ, Glad you're done with you're treatment. I'm going in in a few weeks for a surgery. Hope I get to meet you before or if not sometime down the road. Good health to you from here on, Jack
i just want to lick the plate . Im so glad you got over the Flu. Tell Ms B hello and everyone there too. Thank you for all your videos from a vet in Houston Tx
I started following Mr. Chaplin several months ago, spent many hours watching his “how to videos” and I have improved my abilities to new levels. I love to cook, never attended culinary school but I have read hundreds of cookbooks, applied the knowledge and with the help of his videos, moved to the next level of cooking. Spend the time, work in a kitchen ( I did while in college) and be creative, worst of the worst, you just end up with expensive dog food. This man is an awesome Chef, shares his passion and knowledge for us to learn, cant ever thank him enough for his generosity.
Daddy Jack, I'm gonna come out and visit soon! I have been cooking for years and have followed the ways of many chefs to an extent but mainly cook from the heart. But then I discovered your videos that you share with the world and I cook your style. Thank you for everything brotha man! I'll be out that way soon, Capt.
Kevin Driggars everyone over 60 feels the need to post and then sign the post at the bottom like it’s a love letter. Do you not fucking see where your name is to the left of your post? Everyone knows who posted that shit. Why??
Did you see that little slosh job he did right around at 14:20 ? This guy didn't like to waste anything -- so smart and effective! Also, he wasted no time moving around the kitchen. I love watching these pros operate through second nature instincts.
them carrot/knife skills were like a goddam right proper guitar solo. this my first time watching chef operate and i want ot thank you. i love that you cook in this vid in a real kitchen too.
Finally he was on the good path to making a bolognese. I mean this video is not called classic bolognese, but actually this had all the ingredients of a classic bolognese part from guanciale maybe.
Way to go Jack!! I too like to find innovative ways for saving ingredients. I think all smart chefs have figured this to be most efficient in the kitchen.
Superfly knife skills...Your ease behind the stove...Those irresitable Classic Recipes...Glad I happened on your video. Peace Love and More Velveeta! from Eve in San Raphael,Ca.

Jack! Always a pleasure to watch your knife skills at work. Every time I think Im efficient in the kitchen, I watch your video and am absolutely baffled by how fast you cut and how casual you are about it! Just another day in the restaurant. Great video!
Hi A&J, How are things going across the big pond. Is Norfolk a big city or out in the country? I have a best friend in London, we go back 30 plus years when we worked together in Atlanta.Glad you like the video, The Best, Jack
I remember the day I realised that the knife in his hand was not a pairing knife, but rather a full sized chefs knife. Rest easy Jack
Hmmm I thought the same. I say in my head that's a wierd size chefs knife 6in. Lol
If I remember correctly, it's slightly smaller than a chef's knife
broski do you have any idea how much this guy plowed?
@@ML-kx9gzapparently you have not developed an intellect yet... still remain on that low level thinking

It's crazy how not too long ago to get this kind of training you'd have to work beside someone and watch them. RUclips is amazing
Olde school with the trimmings !! This is like going to culinary school for free 👏👏👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
