Having lived in the Bay Area at the time, i was hipped to Bungle by my musician best friend in 1989. At that point there was no album to buy or borrow so it was a live show only experience. When i asked who or what Bungle sounded like, he had the best (and most accurate) description for the material at THAT point in time: "psycho-porn carnival music". To be fair, Bungle did evolve but damn he hit that one on the head for what would become Bungles first album.
Your videos popped up in my feed again and like Torture Garden, I have to disagree. This one has everything. Interestingly it was produced by John Zorn.
