So where was the rattling coming from? Was it the shift knob? Also couldn’t help but notice a clanking whenever you moved the shifter all the way left or right. That the shifter hitting the exhaust or something? Did you fix these issues? I don’t want to purchase this bracket if it’s going to cause all this noise.

Hey did you buy an ebay short shifter? It came with a snap ring, but I don't see where to put the snap ring. Any idea? Also did you figure how to get rid of the rattle coming from the aftermarket shifter bracket?
