Holding? Switch. Flowin? Roll. Context? Matters.
Obviously, but it's clear from the video I'm referring to taking angles
It depends if you want to get shot in the foot or the head 😂. Contexts of the video. Full shoulder 100% for checking/clearing angles. No shouler only if you want to play peekaboo whack a mole head shot. 😂 Other contexts like clearing a T then def no shoulder for a quick roll and flow to check you 6 after 00:00. 👍
@@viralepidemic7 You can see from the video the amount of your head that is exposed is the same regardless. You are just lowering the total amount of your body exposed without the full shoulder transition.
Hotel? Trivago
Could you do a video which shows and talks about partial shoulder transitions
(switching shoulders but without switching hands)
I'll do a full length video on this topic in the near future
If what you peak around is cover. Possibly. If it’s concealment. I’m not sure it’ll help much
Sounds cool but if i knew my life depended on getting on target when i went around that corner, id rather shoot normal 😅
That's why you train so you can get on and hit target
Which one do you call normal? Switching shoulders for the corner or keeping the slight disadvantage? If I knew my life depended on this I’d rather have my gun shoot then before I even see them…
Still a good idea to train your non dominant side to atleast be comfortable to move with, that way you aren't necessarily out of the fight if your main hand is winged
Whether it’s a full transition (hand and shoulder switch), or partial (shoulder only)…yes, it’s worth it during deliberate entry. Notice the increased exposure of vital areas without the transition.
the first one is better most of the vital organs are better secured
I’m legally blind in one eye so I can’t exactly perform a shoulder transition safely. If I trade shoulders, I trade eyes and become a liability. So for me, it’s not worth shooting the wrong target or even pursuing the target if I have to make my off side dominant to perform effectively in a combat situation.
If you can shoot with left, sure.
If you have a sight that have a iron sight on the side corner like COD, sure it’s semi-worth it (that way you aren’t completely sacrificing accuracy and sight for faster transition) but if it doesn’t, then no it isn’t too worth it unless you’re skilled to do such maneuver.
You don't hit anything past 5 meters (ore less probably) with that stance... I don't know what are you training for but you are responsible for each shot, you have to know where are you shooting.
You can hit anything if your barrel is pointed at it.
@@Sgtassburgler sure if you have any idea where are you aiming....you cannot have one if you are not using the sight.
In the United States you can shoot wherever you want if you are a police officer.
Nobody gets in trouble when a citizen gets shot randomly. Look at UPS hostage in Miami and Dorn search in LA
5 meters !?!?!??
He has a Fuckin rifle you would be dead from 100 m if in bad position ☠️☠️🤣 this isn’t nerf lollll
The leg getting popped on the full shoulder transition would be painful.
My instinct said pelvic shot through the wall when that knee came out.
Recoil Stability Accuracy
I would say what ever it is your doing where you keep the gun on your dominant side would be Superior.
Considering that the extra exposure is hardly noticeable and you'd most certainly be more accurate.
I keep my hands in place but move the butt to my left shoulder with my left arm running down the length of the rifle.
It's seemless as you pull up around the corner, and transitioning back is just as quick. Never have to change grip. It let's you keep a solid stance and is comfortable to hold. You can even use your right forearm to brace against the wall giving you stability and a quick push off. The only down sides are if you keep gear high up on your chest the butt will get caught up on the transition, and you bros with the new tactical grip have to slide your offhand around to to pull it off. Another reason I prefer the magwell hold.
This was a problem in Tarkov at the time
You won't hit anything past 70 meters with tus
Its for close quarters though
Cqb all I gotta say
Or switch shoulders.
Maybe just peek out the other side?
What if you're peaking a corner down a hallway? Or around the corner of a house on the outside?
@@macgriggs9350 Why would you do that alone? In any case, you slice the pie and cover corners, not peek out from behind walls.
@@ジョジョさま Yes. You can still pie corners the same way by switching hands. It exposes less of your body. You still might need to straight up peak a corner instead of pie-ing it. Best way to do it and have less exposure is to switch sides. Something I find extremely important when the CQB is very very tight. Ambidextrious shooting is something you have to train at a lot tho. When i played water polo we were trained to be able to catch and throw from both hands in case one was tied up. Took almost a year and lots of practice throwing balls at a wall and forced off hand scrimmages in the pool to get good at. Same thing with shooting.
You so wrong, come to my state to learn realistic mqb
I serve in Lottar idf
You position when holding corner what we call in our language”zig” you expose a lot of your body, too much
Your knee will get a shoot
And you should cover all of your lower body behind that ballistic cover there’s no other point of exposed that area of the body than get a bullet
Also to get a real tight zig there’s two type methods of holding the weapon in aiming positions in the zig
Each type is depend on how you hold weapon left/right and according to the corner-zig I open to work
I’m right handed
So if I’m open my week zig side working to the right, open to the left it’s the most naturally corner to right handed to be fully covered
So if I’m open left I will change my holding and position the back of the rifle almost to my chest and straight my left arm c grip to avoid exposing
Yes and no
Never was
