IMPORTANT UPDATE
Hi All, there is now a free FCC hack option for the DJI FPV Drone via a website linked below however I am not endorsing using this at this time as it appears it based of the work Drone Hacks and others have done. While Drone Hacks were charging a small $25 fee this was to allow them to continue to develop and bring more hacks in the future such as NFZ and Altitude bypass, while I understand there is no honour among thieves it appears the case that this site has replicated what their app did and has now been giving it away for free but asking for donations.
My issues with this is we would not have these hacks at all if Drone Hacks and others were not spending the time to do it, hacks often take months to find and develop, that takes time and hardware and while the community may feel that free is better in the long term it affects the possibility of more hacks being found if DJI close the door. price
To be clear I have no relationship to any of the hacks but I have had contact with the DH guys a number of times over they years and they are trying to provide something people want for a reasonable fee.

There is no secrecy or special work behind the hack. they didnt need to «base» their hack on annonse elses hack. all it does is send a a string of test to the drone that changes the region. This stricg is the handsame string for DJI fly in the US and isn’t a secret. the problem is of course that dji fly resets this string every time you connect to it. Basically the ones that chatte for this hack is price gouging you, except the ones that actuallyhave an ios app that replaces dji fly
Also you can side load on iphone with a dev account as you said, you can also buy a cheap yearly access to appdb to side load apps from there and other sources. you can also side load from your computer using at least two different tools depending on wether you have a windows or a macos computer. These apps also refresh you app regularly so you don’t need to reinstall every month.

Hello MadTech, really useful informations you provide and we thank you. I just wonder regarding to the suggestion you made; For short distance and better penetration, is it correct to use 5.8 patch antenna and force the googles to use 5.8 GHz and 40! Bandwidth?
Well ok we can use the dji drone in 2.4 ghz mode but the question still remained how to use goggles v2 bought in EU with air units cause they require 5.8 ghz. I tried the second proposed variant and while it's quite funky it worked. I managed to get the right state of the goggles where the "change to FPV mode" is available and I can choose between 2.4 and 5.8 ghz.

First of all thank you for making this video! Do you think that doing this hack would have a negative impact on the longevity of the drone and goggles? Increasing the power from 25mw to 1412mw seems pretty significant.
No as it’s designed to output that on FCC mode anyways. This will have zero affect on the product

Hello mads tech, i have a question maybe You could help me out. I have the original dobo head mount for the dji fpv drone, and i also have an 8 hero black (full size) and a geprc hero 8 black naked. I have both with same settings, wifi off and all the same settings. Thing is that with the naked i get a satelite drop to almost 0 and with the full size i don't have any problem. Any idea of this? Do you know if those FCC hacks could eliminate DJI Care refresh? Does DJI have possibilities to deny the repair? Did they with the hacks before for other models?
I would not expect it to be possible with this as they would not really know. Technically any software modification would affect warranty however it’s proving it that’s the issue.
Yo, i just buy the hack but when i want to switch in Manual to make some fpv cinematic/freestyle my rates (RC exposure) are reset to 0 then the M mode don't work..
So if I use DJI iOS tweak, will I be able to use futures like RTH, find my drone etc?
So for the FCC hack to work, do i need to hack the goggles too? Or is it enough to just have the drone in FCC mode.
Cant go above 40mhz on the goggles if i'd want to manually set it.

Sadly there is no way to tell. U.K. and EU is CE. USA is FCC.

So my drone is firmware .200 but what do I do about my goggles? It says I need to activate the drone and goggles. Brand new drone.
@mad tech: if hack applied via Android app its understood you can't use DJI Fly app same time for extra secondary display etc. But can DJI Fly app be connected AFTER the hack is applied and then for example the drone crashed to see on the find my drone map where the drone crashed/went down ?
No if you connect fly app you will go back to CS mode.

This might sound stupid as I'm new to this drone stuff but does doing this affect the ability to use the find my drone feature if the drone gets lost?
No has no affect on that, just note the Find my drone really is not perfect and it can only give you an idea of where to look if it was sending a signal.

@@itay5825 B3yond and dronehacks, still work. you just need to make sure you haven't updated your firmware. I'm in an FCC country so it made no difference in the end
Will it work on the latest firmware?
If you pit fake gps on your android and disable wifi and data and fly app won't know where you are. This is how mini was forced to fcc.

Guys I need some help please! I've put both files on the actual drone and also the other one on the goggles. I can't see any extra menu systems or anything it just looks no different? Does FCC mode work in both 2.4 and 4.8ghz?
Are you using the Naco file ?

Ok just to confirm something.
The DJI FPV Drone does not work with the Naco text files. The only way to get FCC is via either hacked apps like Drone Hacks, D3VL ect.
The Naco files are for the FPV Goggles and DJI Airunits. One is for the FCC Hack (Naco) and the other (Naco_pwr) is for the goggles 1200mw.
So do you have the FPV drone or Airunits ?
@@MadRC thanks mate sorry.im new to this. I have the new DJI FPV drone combo. So it comes with the v2 goggles. So yeh, I've hooked my goggles up to the PC and I've been to the d3vil site and gone through that process and it said it worked. So I guess I need to know how I can tell if its actually done anything? I cant see anything different in the goggles menu and there doesn't appear to be any extra options etc? Sadly there is no way to see it’s worked other that is saying soo. Don’t forget they have an android app as well.
The FCC mode will stay as long as you don’t connect it to DJI Fly App on your phone or Assistant 2 for FPV.

@@MadRC hello, after a few days of research and hesitation, i decided to contact the russians for dji tweak robot. I contacted them via Telegram and managed without jailbreak to regain the limitless use of my DJI MavicAir2 drone.
