Building The FASTEST Nissan Juke Nismo RS EVER!

- The Nissan Juke Nismo RS is certainly an odd ball of a car. It is not a platform that I ever anticipated building off of. But, after rebuilding this particular Nissan Juke Nismo RS, the urge to take it one step further was irresistible. With an upgraded Turbo setup and tuning courtesy of 2jracing, this Nissan Juke Nismo RS makes 425whp. The problem now is, getting this Nissan Juke Nismo RS to go straight.
This Nissan Juke Nismo RS receives a custom valved set of BC Coilovers and upgraded Cusco sway bar. As well as some 370z akebono brakes and some Enkei wheels to tie it all together. The only question is, will this Nissan Juke Nismo RS actually go straight and be controlled enough to set the 1/4 mile racing record? As best I can tell, a 13.62 is the current fastest Juke record. That is what we will be shooting for with my Nissan Juke Nismo RS!

lol. without the water meth or the nitrous, ive been putting down 474 AWhp in my 2013 cvt since 2016. self built. IFO trophy class winner, Denver Children hospital Best of Show, and one more class winner plaque at 1 of only 2 more total shows. bought it brand new as college grad gift to myself.

I saw a 2016 is available in my area and am looking for a car. Could you speak to the reliability of the Juke RS and how easy/hard it is to find parts when something needs to be replaced? Any major issues you've noticed? Thanks!
@@bugokcho482 I'm not sure about parts availability as I'm from the UK but I expect nissan parts are pretty well distributed all over. Reliability yes very good so far I'm very impressed with mine. I have a 2017 RS 👍🏼
@@bugokcho482I have a nismo rs and I will say that parts can be a bit hard to find if you want OEM, but there is a decent amount of aftermarket stuff available. I suggest rock auto for spark plugs, coils, and internal parts.

So I have been in the Juke game since the beginning. Bought mine brand new in 2012. Put a lot of money into custom parts before any company made anything for them, and for a while was the fastest Juke on the East Coast at 300HP (stock Turbo and wastegate). Then the RS came out with its fancy LSD transmission and Recaro seats and I pretty much stopped sinking money into the Juke. I still own it, love it and drive it daily though. I always like seeing new Juke builds though.
juke is absolutely an underrated car - cheap to run, cheap to mod, and fun as fuck to drive with a bit of power
I'm 100% fine with everyone else having Juke hate. I had a 2015 Nismo for awhile and then got a 2016 Nismo RS a few weeks. While I'm not modding the RS or anything too wild, it's a fun car that also manages to handle dirt/gravel roads so I can actually pretend it's an SUV. My only real comparison to a sports car would be to a Veloster N that I had for awhile. The N definitely has more get up n go, but I found the RS handles curvy mountain roads more satisfactory (for me, anyhow). Also pretty sure no one will try to steal my RS because a) it's a manual transmission and b) "ew, that's a Juke!"

@@bugokcho482 I've only had regular maintenance on my Juke since I got it. 22,000 miles of trouble free driving for me. Been genuinely happy with it.

You should definitely look into getting a short shifter kit, the difference it made to ours is second to non, worth the time and effort

@@scraplifegarage it'd a pain in the arse to fit but well worth it, trans mount, ECU battery etc needs to come out, then again might be different on yours being left hand drive rather than right

LMAO. Jukes are awesome. They handle SOOOO well (At least the NISMO variants). Also.. the tune SUCKKKKKKKKKED on it. (If you know you know, and why ;) ) p.s. there are people now making AWD 'manual' with the original engine, so it will actually be able to take the power and make it useful, unlike the rubbish original CVT. The Juke RS AWD impressed me that much, that even though I own a 2018 STI, and had many powerful cars, and am considering a Porsche in the future, I would absolutely buy another NISMO juke. Sorry haters, but you really need to drive the RS, and you'll understand why. (I don't like the stock Juke's though to be fair).
Also.. with FWD... I believe you should really be targeting 300 to 350bhp max to actually make it properly useable. The 1.6 blocks are strong and can take high boost. It looks like you got a fuel cut in the later part of the video (Just before you walked back).

I love all your videos from that amazing Juke Nismo RS (425 bhp). I have also a Juke Nismo RS from 2018 with a 6-speed. In Belgium I payd 128 € for 4 x NGK DILKAR7C9H. Anyway with 240 bhp (stage 1) is he fast enough and for a high model like this it's normal that the Juke never been the fastest car, but I love my Nismo RS with 5 places for driving around with family ❤️. Thanks for the videos and make more of this. Good luck mate🤞

If that block is blown swap something cool into it, idk if it’s worth it too dump a bunch of money into a car that will bottle neck you at 500-600 hp when you could build something that would be fun and cool for the channel like your own Juke-R

Buying Parts for the Juke sounded stupid to me and still Kind of does.. But I do it.. Can't wait to finish up the Look of the car, Bought a front spoiler for it, Hoping it works out right.. Looks great in Pics But you don't really know until you have it in your hands and installed...
Put a no lift shift map on it so that boost loss can be countered
Yeah flatfoot shifting would be a nice addition. If not mistaken this has an UpRev tune. Would require an ARC license. I spoke with the UpRev guys a few weeks ago and was told that the ARC license wasn’t working with the Juke, hopefully they fix this soon.
I just got a 2017 RS with manual. Only had 25k miles. I love this little car! Reminds me of my old mini-cooper, but on stilts. lol

Hey also since you got the gfb iii, utilise the boost by gear (not really) feature utilising external trigger. I have mine set every time I press the clutch pedal. I can show you my setup as i am in the process of cleaning it up and resting. Let me know!
. My Cobalt SS turbo is 2995lbs and buttdynoed at just over 300hp at the wheels. I had ran a best time of 13.5 @ 107. With that said it's gata all be in the DA and shifts. You have the HP to get that record. My 60 ft was a 2.2 every time so you need to knock that down and that alone should get you there. I had some all season tires at the time lol

Dude that is so awesome, I love my Juke AWD, plus really cool you have an AMS cooler, I use to live in Chicago, back in the day when they were small company, even before their beast Apha1 GTR,, I do graphics and signage, but use to do car graphics for the few car clubs I was in, by far aside from my modified VW GTi and my TRD Supercharged Toyota Matrix, the Juke is super fun, I even surprised a Maserati owner, lol

Im looking to buy a juke nismo rs 4wd with cvt automatic, i tried it used at a dealer and it was so much fun.
It was either a:
Citroen C4 Aircross 4wd
Suzuki Vitara 4wd
Juke Nismo Rs

I suggest to go for Juke Nismo RS. Parts in Asia area easier to source actually. As in Asia Citroen parts very expensive. As for Suzuki Vitara, I heard from most owners, the fuel consumption is not hat good. I own Nissan Juke 2WD turbo with full bodykit and 19" rims plus Tien coil spring form the dealership in Brunei. since is a daily driven car and that I used commute to work and for my wife to drive, I just made minor upgrade to 19" Impul RS rims and Greddy FV blowoff (used from subaru with its flange and it is a direct bolt on)

Nice to see a Nissan!!! You need some transmission upgrades for it for sure! We have carbon fiber synchro's which will help with faster shifting, and a upgraded LSD which will help the launch and torque steer. The car has a "F52" transmission fyi , check us out we have some fast drag Nissans!
Do you have anything to address the short gear ratios??? Is there an option for tall gear ratios???

Did you guys bypass the clutch damper? This will help with shifting as well. It will also take that dead feeling from the clutch.

great fun car,the new model of the juke is way better.
There's other guy's wasting a ton of money trying to get this car to move out of it's own way too. I was one of them. There's a guy up north who's been working on these for over 15 years and he has never shown a slip better than a low 14 to high 13.. Then there's another guy who pulled off a 13.6 with the stock turbo and a tune.. There is no rhyme or reason to these cars.. People have tried everything to get these into the low 12's and can't... And you would think making over 400 Wheel that it would easy do high 11's and low 12's. But they don't or they can't. Just look at everything he did and it still doesn't put the power to the street. 1st, second, and 3rd are so fast that the only gear that actually runs up to 400 is 4th gear. 4th is the only gear that lets that motor bark. I know I keep saying it, but it is so sad.

@@TerryDeSimone I don't even think that would help it.. Power isn't the problem.. The drive train is.. The only gear that allows the car to make full power is 4Th.. That's why there are a bunch of guys showing 4th gear DYNO pulls and that is it, They never show us a slip. And just about every car I have seen up at 400 wheel, they do 11's or at the worst they are doing low 12's .. IDK..
david needs to review the juke should the opportunity present itself!

Gone a whole different direction with my Juke Nismo RS.... Nissan Pulsar GTi-R swap SR20det, 5 speed manual transmission and AWD (the way the Juke Nismo RS should have been right from the factory)..... I've got all the drivetrain including rear axles and diff. Got all the performance parts for the upgrades I will need, still need custom driveshaft and some odd parts here and there as well as some custom fabrications, cutting /welding for mounts as well as custom brake and gas lines... Hoping to have it completed by next summer.... 13.62? ...Easy LOL!

I liked the Juke. I’m all go no show. And I like sleepers. So the Juke fits the bill. Only problem is it’s not AWD. What about strut tower braces?

Correct. They bolt on. U need banjo fittings for the 370z calipers. The fronts need special rotors from z1 motorsports. Otherwise are bolt on as well.
My son has a Juke, and I love to borrow it. Sure, my Explorer ST is way faster, but that little Nissan is so fun to throw around…
ur not supposed to gap those plugs.. they come pre-gapped.. laser irridium.. they are *not* regular plugs.. i use em in my Mercedes.. using a gap tool like that.. you can damage the electrode.. just by using that tool.. i wouldn't doubt u messed em up...
I think I dozed off during those 5th gear shifts….hoping it’s nothing major with the Juke.
nismo rs is a fun car to drive standard the torque steer is pretty mad at 215bhp never mind 400 i cant imagine how sketchy that must have felt. i find first gear way too short to launch can ya not get a little more boost low down for a second gear lunch? standard they launch fine in second on a flat surface but with a bigger turbo i dont know how laggy it is but that would deffo help ya times

my juke makes the best racecar sounds out there for a daily 4cyl . also It's pure entertainment when ppl think they are gonna wax you and you just stay right on them. full bolts, full exhaust w/ res. + recirc @19lbs. STI's are friends not food!
