Damn at first I thought this was the Juke R that had the R35 engine in it. Yall should definitely throw a bigger turbo and supporting mods on this thing and see what kind of power you can make.
I think they only made like 5 of the Juke R…. It looks like plenty of people want to see this thing modded. So, an upgraded turbo might be in the works very soon!
Yeah only 5 of the Juke R's where made they are all in private collections if my mind serves me right only 1 has came up for sale so normal people like us won't touch one unless you win the lotto. 🤣😂
Those basically don’t exist. I have only ever seen one for sale and none of the articles from 2010 are consistent with how many were built. I feel like Nissan built 1 and said they would make more but it never happened. Kind of dumb as they would be an amazing vehicle
Yeah that's awesome, well done. Definitely do those bolt ons, easy to lose track when you have over 1000 hp cars lurking about the shop but a 400hp hot hatch would be so darn fun.
I had this exact model, just a blast to drive and it's a tank in the snow. The seats just wrap around you and lock you in. Definitely one of my favorites to drive!
@Dave_dave69 you'd be surprised. I've drove a wide variety of cars from old muscle cars to new Mercedes and the juke is really fun. theirs something abt awd and being able to throw it where ever you wanr

@@scraplifedalt it's a true fact, it's not easy as alota tuning is needed, but its highly possible, they handle power extremely well, coming fully forged from factory, the platform is fantastic

I have a 2015 Juke Nismo (not RS) and it's become one of my most beloved cars to date. I consider it a "large hatchback" rather than SUV, though I've taken on plenty of dirt roads without too many issues (mind you, I do avoid hardcore 4x4 jeep trails because I'm not totally an idiot). What I do like about it is that it has enough get up and go to pass trucks quickly on a hill. Also, compared to most crossover SUVs, it doesn't feel totally lethargic. And most importantly, on my road trips, I get between 35-40 mpg in it. I am kinda bummed they don't make these any more for the US...but also understand the goofy styling never appealed to most.
mod it yes! I've never been a fan of these but after this vid I really think it's an interesting and cool build. absolutely mod the juke, I'd love to see that kinda content

We own a 2018 RS manual in australia....ours is sitting on 200kw(268hp) with only a few mods from initial 160kw (215hp) . With most our mods come from Injen. Our mate owns a r32 and our little juke sounds lounder and meaner. 2j has alot of gear that can make them into little weapons. It's a renault motor so rally car breed motor designed to rev. Put on GFB bov and it is just a unique car. Get one of the 2j intercoolers it's a must. There was only 201 cars sent to Australia for our year model so there aren't many around and fewer manuals. The automatic versions suffered alot in repairs and issues. Fun car to drive. Handle pretty good for a runabout. Puts smiles on my face when I don't drive my Beast nissan patrol as it is very zippy and quick with more power. Add the mods.
Great program on Juke to see it from scrap yard to on the road really was interesting, I take delivery of mine in just over a week now one of the first things I will change is the oil pipeline to the turbo, only 25 000 on the clock but I'm looking to keep this for quite some time so any modifications will be welcome. Thanks again

the juke lends itself to customisation well, be it race or off-roading, it has got a great body that is straight up Paris Dakar it just needs a lift, shocks, and some bolt-on mods and you have a sand devil waiting for livery styling, when you look at any juke you can see other styles in it so easily,
Guarantee it’s got subframe bushings issues if it’s had any sort of front impact. Fun little cars though, especially after just a few mild improvements!
In the Sunderland plant in the UK approx 3% of Juke production was Nismo RS's, I've had mine since new, just over 7 years now and I love it as much as day one
There were total 2,285 Nismo were produced from 2014 to 2017. Yet I didn't see what the numbers are for 6 speed manual Nismo RS' which i'm sure are more rare than that.
Does that number include whole world production? I've been trying to find the numbers for years, I know ours is arouns 1/200 in the world, with it's non tech pack black with brown metallic paint, manua lsd etc etc

I've been on the lookout for a relatively low mileage 2016 or 17 Nismo RS for awhile and yeah...they're rare. Especially for those of us who still drive manual.

Of course do it. No one has ever really seen any content on a Juke that has been modded that much. I do not care if you go all the way to 400 +, but a healthy 300+ would be a good start. It all depends on the cost to get it where you want it. If the bottom end can handle it, why note?
Yeah would of welded those parts on, if it comes from the factory welded then it should be welded, if it comes panel bonded then it should be panel bonded.
FIRST THING YOU DO ON THIS is buy the GFB (GO FAST BITS), DUAL Recycle valve, it takes literaly 15 minutes to put on, its right under the engine cover, 2 hoses, 2 bolts and boom TURBO SOUND GALORE, fun ASFK, i just did mine today, and wish I had done it sooner, this Valve gives you the option to dump air out or not, wich es great, all you do is turn a knob on the valve. Second thing you do is take the plastic pipe OFF from the air filter box, no bolts need to be taken off, it just snaps off, and that will let the turbo breathe better, less restriction and the sound is even better with it off.
