That went through my mind as well,because it's one of the 1st things that I always relate stryfe to.
That was the very first comic book I ever read, got for Christmas when I was little.

The truly hilarious part about Stryfe, is the fact that if it wasn't for his mental trauma and insanity, he would be the most dangerous being on Earth. Sure the reality warping characters can do things that he could only dream of, but at his peak power, no one would be able to even think of attacking him without him knowing what they planned as they thought it. Cable held the world at her mercy when he was at his peak, so much si that the only solution was to call upon the Silver Surfer. This Cable is no where near as powerful as he would have been had Apocalypse not infected him with the techno virus.
Stryfe, Apocalypse, onslaught, omega red and Hellfire club are the scariest Xmen Villans to me

Xmen has the best villians. Theres at least 4 or 5 bad guys they could build up on the level of thanos. And they all have interesting storylines. Hopefully the mcu doesnt botch this

90s kid here, now i just know OG stryrfe's back story, and even if you liked cable back in the day the moment you bring clones into it, is when things felt a bit to over the top, and that's alot for a character that's already from the future.
Yeah, the Summers are beyond convoluted at this point.
They could easily create an Avengers level threat in the MCU with the creation of the Age of Apocalypse. If the audience was willing to go all in, they could even combine Cable's future with AoA along with Bishop's. It would be a crazy timeline, but with just a few world building adjustments it would be a walk in the park. Just imagine between Eurasia where the Sentinels are defending humans, and America where Apocalypse is in control, Bishop's world lay in that gray zone. Writers do that sort of thing all the time when converting novels into scripts for the sake of time restrains. That could potentially F up the traitor storyline which results in the biggest bad Onslaught (another Avengers level threat). Apocalypse's horsemen from Cyclopes and Phoenix would get replaced by the more enjoyable horsemen from AoA (Holocaust and Abyss!), other than that you'd simply add in Stryfe as a child (setup for post cred), easter egg Legacy Virus (post cred), use Bishop as the guide just like in AoA (he remembered things from before) only add in some of the bits from his original origin story with Shard and Forge and maybe some of the advanced Sentinel tech (which is already present in AoA anyway minus Nimrod). Oh, and maybe they could tell me what happened to Frank Castle, his grave is marked MIA
Jean grey wasn't cable's mother in a sense it was her clone Madelyn Pryor one of mister sinister creations.

Loved Stryfe in _Messiah War,_ but they kinda made him go out in the end like a sniveling little bizznitch when it was time to face Apocalypse. Like they instantly nerfed him. So that was kind of disappointing.
You spelled Apocalypse wrong and I wish MCU would make a X-Cutioners Song movie, like the comic book storyline with Stryfe and The M.L.F. , Apocalypse, The Four Horsemen, The Dark Riders and Mr. Sinister with the Marauders and Nasty Boys. They could make a Trilogy type movie and add The Brotherhood of Evil mutants, Juggernaut and Black Tom Cassidy and have it made kinda like the Infinite War was made. That would satisfy the fans and make a bunch of money.
I love this idea but would prefer an animated trilogy of this with the last of the trilogy introducing the Legacy virus.

I know a lot of people have already pointed out that Jean was not the mother of cable but I just want to acknowledge how hard it is to take anything you say seriously when literally the first sentence of this video is completely wrong.
I'm just glad so many people commented about him getting stryfes mother wrong. Always cracks me up when people spend so much time and effort on a video, just to screw up a well known detail.
He was in the 90s xmen cartoon as well. Just as a cameo with moon dragon. Typhoon Mary. Rachel and other pyschics

And for a time it wasn't certain whether Cable or Stryfe was Scott's, Madeline Pryor's (the Goblin Queen/clone of Jean) was the clone of genuine son.
One thing Stryfe wasn’t, is a minion. Pure evil, yes, but a minion… hell no.
I think a really good story for all the clones of mutants could have their own nation krakoa clone nation for all the wolverine clones , etc
Omega level doesn't seem very powerful since 90% of mutants are Omega level

Cable worked better when he wasn’t supposed to be Scott and Maddy’s kid. That back story just adds complexity without adding character.

Noooo, this is the only narrator that I can't listen to. Either speech impediment or can't pronounce correct; kills it for Ms. The job is to narrate accurately. Their are other jobs for this man, just not this one.
